Your videos never fail to capture the beauty of the Hebrides, This video showed Staffa in a why I have never seen the Island before, when you see it portrayed on TV programs they tend only to show a small fraction of the Fingle's Cave of what we saw in your video, let alone how big the Island is. It was only this year after many years of staying near Bunessen did I notice that from the Hill by Bunessen Police House could you see Staffa on a clear day.
Hello Bob, many thanks for this great and beautiful video! The quality is that of BBC films! Your paddling area is super beautiful but also very challenging in terms of paddling technique and trip preparation. Thank you so much for taking me on this beautiful trip! Thomas from Germany
Nice one Bob, you were very lucky to land on Staffa, we had no chance last time i was there, we used the same camp spot on Inch Kenneth on our final night too a great spot.
@helenwilliamson1420 thanks... yea I have to blast it with a gas stove to get a fire going🤣 He builds a little cave of dry tinder, surrounded by slightly bigger stuff.. its a skill!
Thank you... I wear a dry suit, a Trident suit made local to me In the UK. Layers worn under it depend on air temperatures, a few layers in the winter, very light in the summer. Sea temps are about 8 deg I think that time of year air temps around 10, but this varies a lot. Cheers

@Simon_W74 Thank you. Yea Staffa is bigger than most people realise. It's a super place when the day boats have gone and you have it all to yourself😁
These videos get better and better. A long time since I visited Staffa…would very much like to see it again from a sea kayak. Thanks for sharing.
