I live on a farm, I brought home a pitbull that killed two chickens, tried to attack my goats, and then chased my cats and almost killed one.
Believe it or not. I just took a deep breath, didn't shoot the dog, and leash trained her around all the animals for 5 months.
She is now the sweetest dog who takes sun naps with the cats and gets along with all the animals.
The "well that's just the way things work on a farm" is just the words of a terrible animal trainer who has no time to deal with difficult situations.
Can someone like that be a leader?
Tim Scott should be thrown out of the running. He just admitted to not being willing to follow the laws of this country.

She was feeling her oats that day, decided Trump would like to see how far she'd go, so she added the "family goat", and 2 "old" horses. All the men employees decided to make themselves scarce so she wouldn't side eye ~them.. (this is actually part of the book!)

Sociopaths don’t experience empathy or genuine emotions. They just learn to pretend to seem normal. Sometimes though their deficiencies are glaring. For example when Noem murdered her puppy, wrote about it in her book, and had no clue why anyone would think that’s sadistic. Kristy Noem is obviously a sociopath. Quite possibly a full on psychopath. Her basement and the rest of her property should be searched. Make sure there’s no unmarked graves or torture rooms with her current victim locked up missing some toes and an eye gouged out.
Krusty Gnome is obviously at least a sociopath, and possibly a full on psychopath, she should never be considered for any office!
Doubt she has dead bodies of people buried in her basement tho. That said, I don't think she'd have any qualms or regrets if she were to shoot a human.

Sociopaths only act on a "transactional basis." If you have something they want, they'll say and do whatever they have to in order to get it, then you're of no use they ditch you like a bad cheeseburger. They don't seem to have real feelings and don't understand them terribly well either, only how to manipulate others. Noem is a very dumb narcissist, I think, more than a sociopath.
But I can think of one person offhand who acts like that.

Why? She isn't a felon. The animal she shot she owned, so only her opinion matters. Operating vehicles or machinery on the road already requires a license, and if she is on private land she can drive anything she wants, and you shouldn't have different requirements for different people. Gatekeeping all social media with legislation is literally a free speech violation. And if you have a job with authority, you likely are competent in that field, otherwise the business would fail. Klepper is my favorite of the non-Stewart, non-Noah options. In fact, he is right up there with them. Great delivery.

As horrible as Noem's shooting the dog is, and I understand why it has been the main focus of the story, I think we're missing another part of the story. She was incapable of training a puppy. Most people would bring in a real dog trainer for help before things got out of control. She also evades her responsibility for her dog's actions. She was the one that gave the dog access to the chickens. I'm thinking killing the dog was about keeping poor cricket quiet. But this all speaks to her suitability for being a Congress person, let alone VP. Congress is like herding cats, and you can't handle one dog?

After they avoid the question on accepting the election results, the only proper follow up question is not to keep asking it. You need to ask "So, you don't support Democracy? Is that right?" If they say no, then you say "Oh, okay, so you WILL support the results of the election then, because that's what Democracy is all about. The vote is the voice of the people."
We've fallen so far when elected government employees can't even say they will accept the results of our elections..
