You did it wrong. you are supposed to use the sticks to collect the blood, then after applying the blood and circling, you are supposed to hold the card at angles all 4 directions for 10 seconds or so. You should know how to do it, before making a video teaching others incorrectly.

Not really. It’s not that important.
And you don’t have to use the sticks. They’re just there for easier use.
