      Depends what matters for you. Smart charges and accelerates faster but has also like every Chinese car, some bugs. Mercedes EQB is a bit more efficient, and i guess it has more space. EQA i really see no reason to buy, to expensive for what it offers.

    • @adrianguggisberg3656
      @adrianguggisberg3656 3 месяца назад

      Mate, you can park this Smart in the boot of an EQB. It's a completly different car to a completely different end. Not sure what the EQA is, which probably means it's too insignifiant to remember.

    Having the charge port in Europe on the left side is still a lousy choice as Street charging is way more important than saving a few steps when charging at a tesla station. @@yourcrazybear no, I specifically chose three equal numbers. But it was just obvious to me (and apparently also 3 other people) that there is an increasing number of nicknames with for number at the end. So this could either be a new automated naming scheme by RUclips or a bot account naming scheme.

    If I may share my thoughts.
    This testing is a good thing to happen, we have a database that was made with dedication and desire for objective knowledge and sharing of said knowledge, and is highly appreciated.
    But I personally think it's flawed or lets say very limited in application.
    This 1000km is only useful for a small percentage of car usage, driving that distance on highways/motorway/interstate at the posted max speed limits.
    Most road trips would be involving the non highway, and half the distance., and even then, is a force subject, this "range anxiety"
    Normal people going 1000km or more would be using air travel or even high speed railway.
    Normal people would drive a 1000km trip a few times in their entire life, if that.

    • @ArneJohansen-dl8dr
      @ArneJohansen-dl8dr 3 месяца назад +3

      Don’t assume your own personal opinion is the same as others. This is the benchmark for every car, how fast can it actually go if needed to. What limits are there in each car before it will overheat and so on.
      I’m going on a 4000km vacation with car this summer in Norway with my family, it will cost me about 2000nok each way with the Tesla, and 14000nok with plane. And we can also make the cartrip a part of the vacation, stoping at attractions and exploring different places.

    • @hadtopicausername
      @hadtopicausername 3 месяца назад +8

      The point of the test is also to stress test the car - how well does it hold up if you drive fast over long distances. Plus it's a good antidote to all the folks who drone on and on and on about how EVs are useless on long trips, charging will take forever, etc. etc.

    • @allannielsen1546
      @allannielsen1546 3 месяца назад +8

      I don't know about others... Maybe people are not normal in Denmark😄. At least once a year I drive to Paris with my family - it's 1250 kms from Copenhagen. Each way. No problems whatsoever in my Kia EV6 GT-Line. It usually takes around 15-16 hours - including stops for eating, restrooms , ice-cream and Ionity charging...
