Great video guys! You did a great job of offering the disclaimer that these animals are pretty shy and don’t like being handled to much. That being said, they are super neat and fun to work with! Thanks for the feature too!
I watched this video based on your Instagram 🎉
Ordered a young adult male from them about 1-2 months ago now and he's doing perfect in his paludarium. No issues whatsoever, although he's not a big eater, these guys are great.
I appreciate that you talk about feeding, especially calcium dusting AND how often! I've been struggling to find any information on dusting frequency. Thanks for that!
Thanks for all the great info
I love my pair. Hardly ever see them but I love it when I do!
I have wanted one for literally so long dream reptile!
I really love them.
I would take the plants out of the pots and add springtails and isopods🙂
Great vid, I love how they care for their young.
can't wait for you guys to get more. I need a female now for my first pair.
and just like that. I just bought the 2 Females from you guys. can wait for them to get here on Aug 30th. now i need another male!
Very nice bro❤
guys ik I am a little late on this video but I LOVE the red eyed crocodile skinks are my favorite kind of skink!!!!
Would it be possible to get a more in depth feeding guide?
Never seeing the critter's such a deal breaker for me. Unless you're breeding them, you might as well have a less shy critter in that fancy viv.
They look most like the dragon and her babies in the 80s movie Dragonslayer
Darn, I want a pet I’ll see. Thank you for the info!
what's the best temp range for these guys?
How dose one find your store - I don't see it posted
Should they be kept in colonies?
What are the times he turned around I totally thought there was a gecko on he's back
💜💚💚💚💜
ITS LIFE ONLY ONE PLACE YOU CAN FIND....EAST INDONESIA (CENDRAWASIH ISLAND) ❤❤❤ you need to see also beautiful BIRD ON THIS PLANET ...cendrawasih Bird
Awesome animals. I would get like 6 of them n put them in 1 nice size bioactive enclosure n enjoy them.
talk about how and what you feed on the regular. i know you don’t give them gerber purée with calcium sprinkles and a side of snails EVERYDAY. right???
whats the filler? :)
haha no gerber on this one. Just crickets, superworms and roaches :)
@@TikisGeckos awesome.
Hi
I wish I had geckos but I do have a rubber 🦎
Lol
Do you have any that are captive bred for sale?
Not at this time
David: Can't say Papua
Manny: Can't say crepuscular
😂
head hunting lizards :)
🤣
Males have bigger heads also if im correct
crescrespuler lol
we got one and it died in less than 10 hours, could it have been something i done or was it more likely the petshop?
It could be either or. How did it look when you first saw it at the store? If your habitat and husbandry was on point it could have been an ill animal.
it did look skinnier than the ones you have in your video. i did have it in a smaller enclosure but it has hides water humitity@@TikisGeckos
@@stormolaid6521if it died less than 10 hours from when you bought it from the store definitely contact them.
The animal was most likely wild caught, not established or had an underlying condition. If underweight, it probably shouldn't have been sold. Do you know how long the shop had it before selling it to you? If it just went on sale and you bought it right away, it was a wild caught import that probably died from stress upon transport. It did not have the time between transport/ pet shop/ buyer. It's a ton of stress on these animals to go through.
"could it have been something I done or was it the petshop"
You can't ask that and expect anyone to know what happened to cause the animal to die.
That's such a general statement. We have no idea what the animals conditions were prior to you getting it, and after it was in your care. Think about that before blaming the petshop. You gave zero info in your question so there's no way to know. You sound very I'll informed.
i asked if it couldve been me because i feel like 10 hours into (what from this video is proper husbandry) getting it, it died. it just seems so sudden for it to have been my fault but i was asking for opinions because nobody truly knows what happened to my animal. i do think it was the pet store the skink was very skinny compared to the ones in this video. @@DoorsToHideBehind156
