I loved joshes contribution to the Chili Peppers, I don’t think they could have found anyone better but his job was to replace somebody irreplaceable, in a band that is an established force of nature. His unique spirit and the spectrum of musical textures and colours he brings were never going to get the space they deserve there. Now he is free we can experience the real josh and what a magic experience that is. As painful as it must have been, I think the boot from the band will turn out to be just as valuable a part of his journey as as being in it.

I love your cover Josh. I heard them on a replay of "Live from Here" a week ago. It was on the radio in the mountains in North Carolina. The radio was full of static. It gave me anxiety, I didn't catch their band name. I managed to take a few notes that they played with They Might be Giants in November 2019 on Live From Here and tracked them down that way. The lengths I went to ensure I could find this band again! Thank you for sharing this beautiful cover and the insight into what music you find appealing and worthwhile. We have this in common :)
