Cool watch, cool review 👍! Think I'll go for it. By the way I prefer non tapering bracelets. Tapering down to 18 or 16mm looks too feminine in my eyes. Cheers, Frank
First things first: I love this watch and good video. Having said that, I can not understand how so many videos insist on the theory about the Speedmaster broke on the moon. The Speedmaster did not brake on the moon, and I think it would be a good idea to do a good research - and to dive into 'the non official history' - before making a video like this. It's pretty obvious that Dave was paid to bring not other item but a watch (and not any watch but the one that was competing against the Speedmaster), just when the Speedmaster's plexi 'accidentally' poped out.
A good review but one correction, the 3 o'clock sub dial rotates once per second and with 20 tick marks this makes it a 1/20th of a second dial and NOT a 1/10th of a second dial. I've owned two BLPs and the hand can and will stop at any of the 20 tick marks.
I've owned both and the three-finish case [bead blasted case, brushed bezel and polished pushers] of the original just looked bad [to me]. I now wear the fully polished 45mm model on my 7.6"/19.4cm diameter wrist, and it looks great. Obviously Bulova thought the same as they've made the 43.5mm new version [same size as the "one off" original] with a polished case.
That sounds untrue... Either way are you buying a chronograph watch or a highly complicated watch? This is why I don't like the prospex speedtimer, this bulova's direct competitor, besides the date one of the subdials is actually a 24 hour subdial. Like so pointlessly cluttered.
Got this off Amazon used good condition etc. Bulova my favourite watch brand

Its a fantastic timepiece! Fair point, no taper definitely gives it a more masculine look.
Let’s gooo been waiting for this one since the comparison vid
Thanks for waiting, I hope you enjoy the video

4:12 nightmare fuel man!
Can you put a NATO strap on?
Great review fellow Aussie. Hi from Sydney.
@@youwebz You can definitely put NATO straps on. It also comes with a strap in the box.
Awesome to see another Aussie 🇦🇺

You have a very good voice for these kind of video's.
I appreciate the kind words!
Nice. Wonder why they didn't do a bead blasted case like the original.
I also thought the same. Maybe they wanted to have a point of difference between this and the original.
The polished case appears smaller than a blasted one.
@@einfranke677 Yep, the polished case does make it appear smaller

Its very nicely done from Bulova
Great review!
Thank you!
Excellent video!
No date.......with date under the dial

Huh? What?
The date is under the dial!!!!!!!!!!!
The reduced size is a step in the right direction
I agree, makes it much more wearable
