I like the detail of female stormtroopers. While not exactly common in the field, there are female soldiers nowadays. You're probably more likely to see female soldiers in desk positions because the military has very high standards of physical prowess and women just aren't normally built like that.

The female stormtroopers here in Rebels is much better than live action female characters in the Sequel Trilogy. The female stormtroopers here have more character and personality and are canon to the Star Wars comics.

After reading through the comment seciton here, I'd like to share the observations I made on the debate regarding female troopers. While most either like the addition of female stormtroopers or just don't mind it, the only ones who are clearly against it are the purists who refuse to acknowledge the new Disney canon as the current canon, as they believe they're entitled to decide what's canon and what isn't.
