One of the biggest tragedies about Captain Phasma's character is that she's actually a very well-written and developed villain, but that character wasn't on display in the media most people were exposed to: the films. If the movies hadn't advertised her so prominently and made her role out to be bigger than it really was, I think the blow would have been softened considerably. Disney deliberately tried to create their own Boba Fett without realizing how Boba Fett's popularity actually came to be. He was just a small part of the movie that fans latched onto because of how cool he looked, completely unintentional on Lucas's part. I like Captain Phasma overall, but man, they did not do her justice in the movies.
Who knows they might give her more screentime in a future series. Some flashbacks to the first order origin with Finn. If boba fett can get more screentime then I am positive phasma can to. I love her novel btw, she was so ruthless and evil in the novel and the comics as well.
I agree, I feel they were inconsistent with her character, and I heard they cut a scene that helped link what happened in the force awakened to the last jedi, where when she and a few troopers surround Finn, he calls her out in front of her troops with how she was easily taken care of on starkiller base and they hesitate, causing her to kill them to silence them and giving Finn the opening to strike her down. Without that scene, it just seemed inconsistent, showing that she was easily punked in the first movie, yet all of a sudden, she's a bad ass with laser proof armor who only went down to a surprise attack.
Phasma’s story in the movies should’ve been better revised They created her, gave her little screen time or role in the movie, killed her in the second movie before Hux even got kicked out of the First order. They made her face off against Finn even though they barely had a connection besides her being his old captain. They left both Phasma and Finn in the dust, both were really well-developed characters that never got to show off their abilities.
If they can bring back Boba Fett and Darth Maul from the dead and give them new stories, why can't they do the same with Phasma? Read her comic and her novel and she's a really interesting villain
That's true! If you read the comics of Captain Phasma or the one shot about her in Age of Resistance, even the novel that tell us a lot about her, she's a great character who need some respect. I hope they revive her.

A mix of grievous' sole desire to be a survivor Boba fetts mystique of always hiding her face and full armor And her warrior/tactical traits The movies did her such a disservice. Honestly despite not liking the disney sequel trilogy, I have to admit, the stormtroopers armor now looks like an evolution of clone armor instead of mass produced cheap crap that empire used. Also Pyre and Phasma's unique metalic armors made them look really cool.

Phasma's helmet is technically sharper than the other stormtroopers in the movies, so they probably just exaggerated it too much. But the actual reason is because she's cooler
I'm hoping for Clone Wars type animated series for the ST era set between Ep. 8-9. With Rey, Finn, and Poe as the heroes and obviously Kylo Ren as the main villain. It's also the perfect way for Phasma to return with hopefully Gwen Christie reprising her role.
Phasma should’ve been promoted to General in TLJ, killed Rose Tico and Leia, and became the main antagonist alongside Hux for Finn in TROS. Underutilized character and lost potential

That Nikto was OK, I liked him in the battle droid episode, he is such a different character, and his line of thought is different from the other characters in most films. He is entertaining for children, but isn't goofy like Kaz, just... weird. We rarely see Niktos speak Basic, and they are only in the clone wars as Hutt guards when they do. He and Yeager are good characters, and they ought to expand on Yeager in a novel, he seems like a novel character. Maybe he might make a small cameo in Rogue Squadron, on a list of pilots or something, it would be nice to see him, because he would be great in a less kiddy show. He is as unimpressed by Kaz as the fandom is, but he overlooks Neeku as much as we do, so he was supposed to be the common sense character, who has experienced the OT as much as us, so he is more deserving to be included in Novels and comics.
