One of the reasons I just upgraded from my S8, as awesome as it was, is I was running out of storage space and could not for example install Diablo Immortal and have any room left. That's no longer an issue for me. Though I guess you could jailbreak your phone and then you can transfer anything to an SD card. Of course many items like games will detect your jailbreak and not run anyway. That's a fine model if you aren't doing much with it.

You surely can compare the Flip 6 with the Razr +. But the RAZR gives you barely 2 years of uogrades. Which makes it so easy for me to chose. Im sticking with Samsung.
It looks ungly with those 2 circles in the screen , it looks like a akien or something, also razr cameras are not as good and its rounded so less grip and the back looks unglier in everythiing, while the hinge is worser and the crease is more noticable

Very good camera. I like it than my iphone 13pro max. Battery last me 28-30hrs. The first week last only 12-18 i was told that system was learning my usage. After a week it did improve the battery.
Im gonna switch off my s22 ultra for the zflip 6, only reason i got the s22U is for that built in pen to do digital art but i got a tablet for it now, im just looking forward for a cooler designed phone and gods i love the Design of the zflips

The razr+ 2024 has a glaring issue, though: the internal storage variants are region locked for whatever bizarre reason!! The US and possibly Canada get the short end of the stick with exclusively having the 256GB variant, whereas Australia and possibly Europe gets to exclusively have the 512GB variant. Granted, carrier "deals" seem to suck balls now, but for those in the US, at least you can get the 512GB Z Flip6 if you want it. (The only downside being that the best color and best storage - Crafted Black & 1TB - are locked to Samsung website exclusivity)
I didn't need the 1TB, but both this recent Z Flip 6, and my prior S22U, I ordered unlocked from Samsung directly. It's the best way to buy. My Flip got here in 2 days vs 3 days for a mere $6.99 shipping (vs free).
The main reason I chose the flip 6 is cuz Samsung had a limited time discount which went down to £970 and a free galaxy watch which isn't a lot but it's worth it with the watch.

Even though I would choose Samsung just due to the 7 years of upgrades but I think Motorola does the flip better in my opinion but Which though rather go with Samsung for those updates. Pixel has spoilt me in terms of monthly security patches and Android updates.
Definitely an iPhone guy. My daily driver is an iPhone 15 Pro. I am testing the Galaxy Z Flip 6. I have to say the pocket size form factor is nice. The 12 GB of ram and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 are nice improvements. This year's phones feel sturdy and premium build. To be honest many of the AI features seem like a party trick that will not get alot of use.
And what do you think about switching from iPhone? Want to try something new but had an android about 10 years ago and interface wasn’t such smooth as on iPhone

Samsung Z folder only has Samsung Bluetooth codec scc, no aptx Lossless Snapdragon sound, and only Aptx, an old sound codec. It's Global Samsung, and I'm very curious why. I think you should just buy your own Scc codec and buzz earphones and listen to them. This is not possible! I bought a B&W Pi8 Bluetooth earphone for $400, and I can listen to the excellent and amazing sound quality as Aptx Adaptive and Lossless built into the Razr 50. Great! I think Samsung's use of a screen cover on a smartphone is the right thing,I still can't believe what the Razr and Xiaomi have done, the screen cover is used temporarily and definitely to save battery without having to use a main screen,but Razr and Xiaomi can provide screen types with a refresh rate as high as 120Hz, bro it's not a screen that we play for an pubg thing with a little visual😂

I have this phone it's great with 2 exceptions. 1) battery life sucks big time. Phone should have been thicker with a larger battery. 2) cover screen needs to be like the razar. As is the cover screen is just too small for any practical uses.

you can just download good lock and you're able to use the cover screen. the cover screen was made as what you call a 'widget prison' but you're able to change it. also (this part is entirely my opinion) i feel like the razr+ cover screen just looks horrible with the way the screen goes around the cameras instead of ending before it. imo it looks like the cameras were forgotten and just slapped on the screen cuz they had nowhere else to put them. personally i think it's incredibly ugly but that's my opinion.

If your Samsung phone breaks down while under warranty you will have to mail in and be without around 2weeks if it involves taking phone apart, I have found out majority of Samsung service repair shops do not have capability, no more spending a thousand + on phones for me anymore

🤬 Verizon doesn't support the RAZR. I had to settle for the Flip, but I love the phone, so I'm not too pissed.

If your Samsung phone breaks down while under warranty you will have to mail in and be without around 2weeks if it involves taking phone apart, I have found out majority of Samsung service repair shops do not have capability, no more spending a thousand + on phones for me anymore

Bought it 1 month ago...after deciding v/s iphone...worst mistake...got issue in flip..you need to restart the phone you flip open the phone...unlike iphone their exchange policy doesn't even work after 15 dayss...ridiculous

@@SidNightWalker it called attention span, the current generation & probably the one before that get bored very quickly, they grew up with cell phones, so that and the average "contract" is 3 years or less. Then there's the battery issue.
I had my Z-Flip 4 for 18 months, the software bloat drove me crazy, I switched to Moto Razr +2024. Most people don't even make it to 3 years!

Much like anyone thinking you have to get a new phone every three years for absolutely no reason would definitely be nonsense. But that's the fault of the user if they so choose to do such a nonsensical thing, there's no genuine reason for a sensible person to upgrade very often at all. With 7 years of software updates, you have even less. Win-win for anyone rational.
@@SidNightWalker The stuff that doesn't come on Moto phones, I don't need to disable or delete anything.. search how long average cell phone users keep their phones before swapping/trading. I've had 3 Samsung phones.. All had bloatware. It was worse every time. Vanilla Android can do everything that the Samsung added stuff does. Most Samsung "fans" don't even know it.
The bloatwear is coming from you buying the phone from you're carrier if you buy it from SAMSUNG or MOTOROLA unlocked you don't get the bloat
When I got my flip I read that the next model was coming out whitin 6-7 months, but I figured I would just get that one when/if my broke.
