    Men why only youtubers are getting problem with Flip 6 , my friend is using it like a normal Human Being and he is not facing any problem … yeah the point is that he is not a brother of JERRY RIG so he use it gently like all other humans so its working perfectly fine , but if you throw it run a car on it sit on it then you might get some issue because in the end its a CELLPHONE … not a Cyber Truck

      Most sensible people will have a case on their £1000+ device. Just in case you have a moment where it has an accident--we are all human. My Magic V2 even has a hinge protector. I have dropped it several times, and it's still as good as new. I did look on the internet, and I would suspect that, as this is more common than it should be, it is possibly a QC issue with a batch of digitizers or a bug for some. I expect both these issues to be resolved internally by Samsung so new builds will be fine.

      @@andyH_EnglandThis has nothing to do whether you have a case or you don't on your phone. I'm a long time fold user and I do understand that foldable phones have to have a case on them because they're very delicate devices to handle I do get that but when it comes to the Samsung z-line, it doesn't matter if it's the flip or the fold their devices are always plagued with problems. I had a Galaxy Z fold 4, which gave me so many problems that I skipped the five because right on the second day of owning the device my camera failed and I started to hear weird crunchy noises as I opened and closed the device and I never dropped it. It's just a matter of understanding that Samsung releases devices that are freaking expensive every year some are plagued with problems and they're giving the Apple treatment where their devices look the same. And the problem Ellie's here in the United States market, we don't have that much selection like in Europe, so we're stuck with the same boring foldable devices apart from Google. Whose foldable device is great, but they still don't know what to do with the inner display to take advantage of it

  • @andyH_England

    A quick search on the internet shows that this seems to be a bug in the OS, as the solution for some was a "7-second reset by holding the power button and volume down keys, the screen itself regained touch sensitivity." Worth trying first.

      @andyH_England honestly, Samsung is played with bugs. I ended up resetting and I mean factory. Resetting my z fold six, because google search, even google assistant, we're not working, and you two kept crashing to the ground at this point I wish the American markets, especially my country. The United States would stop being stupid and allowed. Different smartphone makers? Besides OnePlus Google an apple to sell phones. We need more competition because Samsung as much as I love them. And i've been, and almost fourteen year dedicated customer they're design language has gotten complacent, and sometimes most of their updates are released with bugs that cause certain things not to work in the UI

    This happened to my flip 6 and I have the light blue color. Opened a case with Samsung, they denied profusely that this was a known issue and even told me not a single person has reported it to them in the US. I’m living abroad in Poland right now and she told me to come back to the US to get it fixed LOL. I switched from iPhone to this flip 6 and even though it’s my favorite phone (and I’d hate to get an iPhone again) I can’t believe how unbelievably bad Samsung is at jipping people out of warranty and covering up obvious manufacturing errors. Calling Verizon later today to get a replacement flip6 hopefully. Mind you I’ve never dropped this phone and I work from home it’s quite literally sitting on a desk all day since I got it lmao

    • @ChilledFossilofficial
      @ChilledFossilofficial  2 месяца назад +6

      That's astonishing! If you can try to get it done through the site without having to contact Samsung - which is basically what I did. I didn't even describe the issue to samsung, just said I wanted to open a service request and chose a location near me. Instead of describing the issue to some Samsung rep, I was talking to the guy at the location and they are MUCH more reasonable in most cases.

    • @jesuscervantesj82
      @jesuscervantesj82 2 месяца назад +2

      I totally agree with you Samsung is a joke with their customer service most of the times and it's literally lame and stupid back when the Z fold 3 came out after the third month of ownership. My screen protector was barely peeling off. I tried getting it swapped for a new one at the Experience Store near my house and they refused because they said it was still okay. So what did I do? I got really pissed and file the claim with T-Mobile and they send me another device. Now the only problem here in our country if you are American is that we don't have much selection besides Apple Google and OnePlus and to be honest with you. I'm just going to ride the wave till the end once September hits next year. I'm just going to see what Google cooks in the foldable departments and hopefully they improve the inner display which has lumps on it, that's the only problem that prevent me from keeping the one I bought unlocked. Samsung has become boring in design and are giving die. Hard Samsung users, the apple treatment and you are correct. Or customer service has become really stupid and lame

      I would say so except Samsung never looked at my device even - it seems it was almost a subjective decision of the guy behind the counter that Samsung booked me- my Samsung acc. doesn't even show the repair appointment or service request anymore. My friend's flip 6 broke yesterday. Her inner screen developed a bunch of black pixels on the left edge when the hinge was. The phone had reduced response (power button only occasionally worked and screen sometimes wouldn't turn on). Suddenly, the phone stopped responding all together. The screen wouldn't come on and you couldn't tell if the phone was on or off. This phone always had a case on and was never dropped or damaged. It's shocking to think a modern phone, especially newly released, can break just like that with no warning. I'll be avoiding these phones in the future. It's too much stress when they do break regardless of whether or not Samsung will replace/fix it

    Screens don't suddenly shatter or break. There must've something happened prior to it breaking. I have a Flip 5 where the screen protector was lifting and Samsung replaced for free (you get a one time replacement for free). I had a Fold 4 where the screen started flickering then the screen went blank. Since the warranty ended and I didn't get the extra warranty I paid $350 for the repair. It's well known to a repair center that the Fold 4 had cable problems behind the screen and with multiple closings it tends to be a problem. I now have the Fold 6 and hopefully the problem has gone away. The Fold 4 didn't really open flat but had a curvature.

      I was told by Samsung technicians today that having a hinge protection case is very important.
      Most cases don't have that and there is a connection from there to the operating machinery.
      Also, don'tclip phone holders and stands in the middle, on the hinge. @drphilbangedme

      @@drphilbangedmeGetting mine back tomorrow. Sent in for repair on Tuesday. I'm really concerned all Samsung is doing is replacing failed screens with the same defective parts. It must be a bad design. I'm now worried I'll only get 4 months out of the new LCD. If that's the case, next time it's fixed I'll sell it. Who wants to deal with screen failures.

    coincidentally , mine flip 6 main screen suddenly froze and the touch sensor can’t work so had to bring it back to the repair store… only the front screen was working except the main screen and the screen just gave me a dark screen😅luckily mine had warranty and it was within the period. After the repair and took a few days of ordering the parts, i sold the phone right away.. sadly disappointed with the phone.
    I’m back in my trusty iphone ecosystem now😅

    Speaking from experience these phones are nice but quality-wise, Samsung flips/fold are absolute trash. Samsung should face lawsuits over the poor quality of these phones. If it's not the screen itself going bad its the ribbon in the hinge, these phones are absolutely not durable.

    I totally understand you're frustration. Brown, I'm gonna die hard Samsung veteran. I've been with Samsung since there. Dummy, keyboard, flip phones and I've had my share of experiences with the company that make me ask myself if people like me and you Not to offend you, but it does make me ask myself if me and you and the many samsung users who love their products are stupid if we are a living joke to them and we're nothing but money pits that they suck dollars out of and really don't give a fuck whether their products are designed
    To be like the days they innovated, and it was fun to own one of there mobile devices i myself even skipped the 5th Generation fold. It's because I fought really hard with them to get my fold for repaired and all they said, was that I drop my phone and that's why my cameras in the back stop working and to be honest with you customer service is a joke where sometimes I ask myself if they're really gonna follow the footsteps of their warranty and stop making stupid stuff up, assuming that most of The Times is our fault when their products are usually faulty and if you're getting one of their foldables or flips. It shouldn't screw up within the first second third or even fifth or 6th month. They should last all the way until next year. When you are due for an upgrade and dealing, with their customer service has really got me frustrated, ninety percent of the time

    Samsung has gone so far down with customer service. My big screen on the flip went black. Phone was 64 days old. Not a scratch. Never dropped. Just black screen. went to att where i brought it, they sent me to a repair shop, of thier chosing. The store had a note on the door saying they couldn't communicate with Samsung, pound sand. Called att , pound sand. Called Samsung, pound sand. you break i fix told me to f off. Wouldn't even look at the phone. I ended up texting Samsung through the (text here to speak to a specialist) i started the process, they sent me a new phone the next day. I promise, I will NEVER buy a Samsung product Ever again, ever. Never buy Samsung products. I went 2 weeks without a phone. Att told me to pay the remaining balance of my phone, then i could buy a new one. Seriously F Samsung, f thier phones.

      Precisely you are correct. The last time I got customer service that was amazing from Samsung was back when they released the 10 inch Galaxy Note tablet and I had some troubleshooting and they really helped me get things together nowadays you try to get customer service or title go to the store and get a screen protector replaced and their customer service is so stupid that you just end up getting frustrated and file a claim with your mobile provider to get a replacement. I do share the same thoughts with you. Their customer service has gotten so low. The only problem with me is that in the United States Market? We don't have a big selection in Mobile companies. So as soon as I finish writing the wave I will see what Google offers next year on their third foldable and hopefully they fix the problems they have on the one I returned and I will step away from Samsung until they get there boring Apple treatment devices together because at this point whether people accept it or not, they're giving us the Apple treatment and their devices don't have big changes to justify the high steep Riser charging for flip phones and foldables that just take baby steps and offer a little change from last year's model.

      @ChilledFossilofficial that's something I've done, but it's still a joke at least here where I'm at. In the United States, my country, I live in southern California. And it's a joke, there's a place called uBreak i fix and every time you do a repair request through the shop Samsung app. You go there on your day of appointments and they don't have none of the parts and apparently they are and authorize. Samsung cards dealer, then Samsung wants you to send your phone to them. So you can be without a phone for UP to 14 days, and in my case, I'm going to the experience store the experience store sometimes can't happen because it's about an hour away from me and if there's traffic, it'll take me longer to get there and is located in a place where even spending an hour or 2 parking can get expensive, so their customer service has gotten so low. And has become a d*** joke. I don't know how it is. In other parts of the world, but here in the united states, it's not easy to find a customer service rep that is willing to help you in an amazing way

    Mine broke a few months after buying it
    (From July to December).
    Samsung and the retailer have been disgusting with customer service. No one wants to handle repairing and replacing it... And I am within warranty and have insurance on it...
    I like to keep my devices in good condition to trade in later, so it's got a heavy duty case and screen protectors on the outside and original Samsung one on the on the inside.
    So scratches no cracks... The main screen still fails.
