As much as I didn't like the roleplay parts of season 8, that was by far my favourite thing to happen in the season. The invisible Grian and accidental wither spawn were just hilarious

There's something so special about how Scar has been playing Minecraft professionally for years and he still forgets how linking up portals from the Nether to the Overworld works.
Gotta admit, I was waiting for the wither fight. You made Joe panic whilst he was streaming! He has absolutely no faith in you two not to release the wither in the middle of the spawn town. Especially Grian. Not after the Boatem Wither incident.
15:55 This is my favorite part of Hermitcraft. Everyone is close to each other and the beginner bases are getting fleshed out. Through the portal you see the pie shop. Then turn and you see Grian's base. It's chaotic and lively.
Somehow I always forget how chaotic Scar is. Every five seconds he’s pranking someone or spleefing them or setting them on fire and it’s absolutely hilarious. Also the build isn’t boring, I really like the nether portal builds you do. And this one is really cool. Mushrooms :D

I love that the portal has touches of the geode portal from the hardcore series. It was a beautiful design and I'm glad to see the color palette make a return.

Did you see the chestmonster he had in season 7 while he worked on his ScarX facility? Mumbo built an auto sorter for it so it's never really shown on scars channel, but jeez was that a lot.

i think its incredible how builders have a kind of “art style” with their build i would love to be able to go into a hermitcraft world download blind and guess who built what!
I mean, if you haven't been watching since the beginning you could do that with older seasons although you may have a hard time because you wouldn't be familiar with the styles of people like Zueljin, Biffa, Python, Monkeyfarm, etc...

I think they may watch each other's Hermitcraft episodes, but I'm not sure they watch anything else. I laughed at how easily Impulse's golem mob took care of the wither. Super fun.

Scar, if you want to siphon grian’s resources change the chests to trapped chests so that when he opens it the hopper stops taking items until the chest is closed again.
I just absolutely love how Scar is so generous with his kind words and compliments... Support in more ways than he actually ends up pranking people or getting in trouble. It melts my heart... specially when he was complimenting Mumbo last season and it was such a beautiful moment. Mumbo seems to have his own personal goals and standards set on when he could ever call himself a builder. But I think it's awesome that Scar himself who is the embodiment of terraforming and organic building is like hugging him (well sort of in between trying to spleef him that time lol) His builds are wonderful and I think it's very difficult to create living things. All the hermits inspire me. But there is something about Scar's builds that just seems so..... much like they grew up from the ground... YOu know, like the way vegetables taste better when they are ones you've grown yourself. He is so humble... I wish I could have even a fraction of his skills to make my dream tree in minecraft...
Was just in awe as the nether portal and the surrounding landscape was transformed, really reminiscent of season 7 and the incredible fantasy landscaping and tiny mushrooms!!! I’m always so inspired with what you create, absolutely ingenious designs you come up with.
After Scar has established his cookie empire, I imagine him doing a cookie inquisition (because no one ever expects the cookie inquisition;) to see if the other hermits are still on with is cookie empire:)

Some glow berries dangling here and there from the tree and a spore blossom would add a lot more mystical/magic vibe to that portal. It is beautiful by the way! Awesome

Hmmmm... Hey Scar! I've got an idea for treehouse interior, maybe something like an ants' nest? Like there's caves and holes in the tree, there would be a "central hub" in the middle, then stairways and hallways built and carved into the tree leading into smaller ones. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal, there are entrances to smaller hubs all over the place.
how about turning the inside of the tree (the lower part at least) into a cave that opens up to the river. you can add a little dock for boats and have roots hanging down from the underside of the tree. put some spore blossoms in that and you can make a mystical and cozy atmosphere.
Scar, I look up to you and your building. It's so detailed and fluid. I've been going though a Minecraft mood as of late, so I've been taking notes on your terraforming and overall building. This was definitely NOT a boring build, is beautiful!! Thanks for the update!! Also, 9:00 both talking about how they never saw someone kill the wither with golems, and just across the river is Impulse, having killed two withers in his HC world with like 30 golems....
Maybe you could add some huts that hang from the tree branches. It would be cool to see living spaces up in the air along with some contrast to all the ground builds.
Im just blown away everytime i watch Scar in action, his builds are always so on point (perhaps a bit to do with that he wants it to be perfect) but man, your builds are awesome and the terraforming is just *chefskiss* but to be honest, i would watch Scar play with Jellie for four hours straight and still be entertained🤗😃
2 ideas: you have impulse or someone use red stone so that some blocks at the bottom of the pond change with a glowing block at night so you have a cool glowing pool that super magical at night. The second thing is that the place is elvish and fun so you could use slime block and piston launcher that launches (live) fish into the pond, but have 2 ponds so that they move from one pond to another switching off. I know I worded it awkwardly, but I can further explain if you want

9:25 Yep. Diamonds hide under gravel. Easy way to find more: Look for two different kinds of ore close together. Find the center in between them and dig a 2x2 hole straight down. At deepslate (y16) start putting poke holes on all four sides after every three blocks down. Always escivate gravel. Love the golem trick! I've never been able to succeed against the wither on my own in survival. Will be doing this soon.😀

I have been appreciating the other hermits for their ever improving building skills. But watching scar build made me realize that he's just on another level. It's not a building competition but scar will never fail to amaze you in his builds. Love it.
The andesite post on the tuff is pretty genius. Like your hardcore base, it's been really beautiful, the way you're making portals look like slices from the geodes. Happened to pause on a shot of an andesite post in a dent of stone, and it's so obviously a good match, yet a blend I never noticed or thought of before. I'm personally more impressed with projects, big or not, that are made up of smaller builds and parts, which makes you plan to build a whole village around your tree something I'm eager to see.

I like his use of fenceposts and half-slabs on the tree. But seeing it makes me wish we had them for just raw log blocks cause it could look so much more natural.

Just a month ago Impulse did the iron golem killing wither boss thing, im surprised none of them watched that. It was pretty amazing

Scar, if you want to siphon grian’s resources change the chests to trapped chests so that when he opens it the hopper stops taking items until the chest is closed again.
Trapped chests have a "red thing" around the "thing".
And they've played minecraft enough to immediately recognize the difference.

I just absolutely love how Scar is so generous with his kind words and compliments... Support in more ways than he actually ends up pranking people or getting in trouble. It melts my heart... specially when he was complimenting Mumbo last season and it was such a beautiful moment. Mumbo seems to have his own personal goals and standards set on when he could ever call himself a builder. But I think it's awesome that Scar himself who is the embodiment of terraforming and organic building is like hugging him (well sort of in between trying to spleef him that time lol)
His builds are wonderful and I think it's very difficult to create living things. All the hermits inspire me. But there is something about Scar's builds that just seems so..... much like they grew up from the ground... YOu know, like the way vegetables taste better when they are ones you've grown yourself.
He is so humble...
I wish I could have even a fraction of his skills to make my dream tree in minecraft...

Was just in awe as the nether portal and the surrounding landscape was transformed, really reminiscent of season 7 and the incredible fantasy landscaping and tiny mushrooms!!! I’m always so inspired with what you create, absolutely ingenious designs you come up with.

The interior of that tree is so epic. Also literally none of Scar's builds are boring. I would and have watched him lay a runway and loved it.

Hmmmm... Hey Scar! I've got an idea for treehouse interior, maybe something like an ants' nest? Like there's caves and holes in the tree, there would be a "central hub" in the middle, then stairways and hallways built and carved into the tree leading into smaller ones. Vertical, horizontal, diagonal, there are entrances to smaller hubs all over the place.

how about turning the inside of the tree (the lower part at least) into a cave that opens up to the river. you can add a little dock for boats and have roots hanging down from the underside of the tree. put some spore blossoms in that and you can make a mystical and cozy atmosphere.
Scar, I look up to you and your building. It's so detailed and fluid. I've been going though a Minecraft mood as of late, so I've been taking notes on your terraforming and overall building. I also want to bring up just how wholesome your videos are. Each and every video brings for much happiness to me. Thank you; can't wait for season 10.

Maybe you could add some huts that hang from the tree branches. It would be cool to see living spaces up in the air along with some contrast to all the ground builds.
Im just blown away everytime i watch Scar in action, his builds are always so on point (perhaps a bit to do with that he wants it to be perfect) but man, your builds are awesome and the terraforming is just *chefskiss* but to be honest, i would watch Scar play with Jellie for four hours straight and still be entertained🤗😃

2 ideas: you have impulse or someone use red stone so that some blocks at the bottom of the pond change with a glowing block at night so you have a cool glowing pool that super magical at night. The second thing is that the place is elvish and fun so you could use slime block and piston launcher that launches (live) fish into the pond, but have 2 ponds so that they move from one pond to another switching off. I know I worded it awkwardly, but I can further explain if you want

Easy way to find more: Look for two different kinds of ore close together. Find the center in between them and dig a 2x2 hole straight down. At deepslate (y16) start putting poke holes on all four sides after every three blocks down.
Always escivate gravel.

I have been appreciating the other hermits for their ever improving building skills. But watching scar build made me realize that he's just on another level. It's not a building competition but scar will never fail to amaze you in his builds. Love it.
The andesite post on the tuff is pretty genius. Like your hardcore base, it's been really beautiful, the way you're making portals look like slices from the geodes. Happened to pause on a shot of an andesite post in a dent of stone, and it's so obviously a good match, yet a blend I never noticed or thought of before. I'm personally more impressed with projects, big or not, that are made up of smaller builds and parts, which makes you plan to build a whole village around your tree something I'm eager to see.
The nether portal reminds me of Scar’s in the 100 hrs hardcore world! It’s really pretty!
