Hi! Recently, my subscriber recommended me to listen to this piece. I was really moved when I listened to this piece. So, I decided to play it. Until then, I didn’t know this piece. This piece is from the soundtrack from animation “Anastasia”. E. Pandolfi greatly arranged it as a piano piece. I attached the link for sheet music which he made. But, there are lots of differences. So, I had to fix lots of notes on the sheet music with my ear. Did you guys know this piece before? If not, I hope that you like this. This week, I will try to upload one more performance with a classical piece. Thank you so much for your support. Keep safe from the coronavirus.

You know, I've been procrastinating my movie session of watching Anastasia, but people have told me so highly of this picture that I had to check it out. Now that we're all quarantined I will have the time to take a look at it, and by GOD Kasia has blessed hands, I heard the piece before and wanted to watch the movie even more, now I don't have any reasons not to. Also, as I mentioned, stay quarantined, take care of yourself, wash your hands and all. Especially you Kassia, take care of those beautiful hands, they can't be injured, you play every single piece perfectly, I couldn't ask for a better piano channel and I'm so proud and so happy that you're a Brazilian that is doing really well on this platform. Stay as blessed as you are
I didn’t know this piece, it’s very charming! I love the fact you are able to play with such expression; even though the piece has strong dynamics, it was still so... soft, I can’t describe it better. The only thing I know is that you never fail to amaze me, my congratulations! Have a Good Day! ;}
This is one of my favourite Disney songs I have ever come across, and I love history. I never watch the movie (I will try to watch it at some point), but I like that to me, this song has a sort of bittersweet and tragic feeling when I think about the truth that happened in history. It's beautiful, and I love it so much.
Was not Disney who made the film or the song btw..they only purchased the rights to it. But yes it’s a beautiful adaptation of the story, ending how we all hoped the real story would have in our minds. “Once upon a December”
I stopped playing the piano last year for different personal reasons. It's frustrating every time I try to play and just my body doesn't respond, so I don't even try to touch it anymore, and I don't hear any piano-related pieces. I'm so glad to see you play, never stop. Greeting from Perú 🇵🇪
Lyrics for this song if anyone is interested: Dancing bears, painted wings Things I almost remember And a song someone sings Once upon a December Someone holds me safe and warm Horses prance through a silver storm Figures dancing gracefully Across my memory Far away, long ago Glowing dim as an ember Things my heart used to know Once upon a December Someone holds me safe and warm Horses prance through a silver storm Figures dancing gracefully Across my memory Far away, long ago Glowing dim as an ember Things my heart used to know Things it yearns to remember And a song someone sings Once upon a December
Just, wow!! I am also impressed by how you actually hold down the piano key for long notes, since that's not necessary on a piano. I'm sure you just do it for the awesome graphics, but it's another layer that you have to think about while playing, and it's just so impressive. I am SOOO interested in the actual editing and vfx used on this. Does your actual piano light up and change colors, then you add on the cool lines? I'd love to know!!
Their keyboard probably has LED light strips that light up when the note is played, but the rest of it- the cool lines and smoke- are added later on using software. As for the 'long notes'; yes, the sustain pedal can be used to sustain notes, but when you don't have that or don't want to use it for some reason, it is necessary to hold down the keys for a sustained sound.

how I managed not to hear a wonderful piece like this before. Thank you Kassia!
I heard this when I first watched the movie as a kid, but then as I grew older I learnt about the real story of princess Anastasia and now everytime I listen to this it makes me so sad but that’s the beauty of it, it fills you with emotions
One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever... and it's from a kid's movie XD Beautifully played
Thank you!:)💕
Gänsehaut pur,die Erinnerung en kommen hoch, als mein Daddy es für mich als Kind spielte, jetzt begleitet mich eine Spieluhr...danke f diesen wunderschönen Moment🙏❤️🎹🎶
I started trying to learn this piece about a month ago, but haven't gotten very far into it and kinda gave up on it. seeing this makes me want to get back into learning this beautiful piece even more thank you!
I am just one of a crowd of youtube people and I really want to say thank you for your good quality content. I understand how much have you learned, because I want to play piano, but I don't have much effort and... passion maybe. But harmony in pieces that you play almost make me cry. It is so greatful.
Anyway, thank you.
Pretty sure your right hand was having a seizure in the beginning
at least for me it’s ok, the problem is the left hand when the notes become colorful
Wow..... You never cease to amaze me with your covers.....
This one came with so much emotion attached.... I hope you're able to remember all the feelings you've forgotten once upon a December.
Haven't seen it fully but im so excited to listen to you again Kassia! You inspire me to play so much
Thank you, Piano boi!:)💕
What in the holy blissful mother of creation is this!!! I WILL LISTEN TO IT FOREVER NONSTOP it makes me so happy
By far your spin on songs are my favorite that I've ever heard. I. am. learning. this.
Oh my god yes thank you this one of my favorite musical theatre songs and I've actually participated on a performance of it. Thank you for bringing it to life on the piano❤️. Specially because you got the perfect interpretation of the music
Hi! Always thank you for your support!💕 I am really happy that this performance can make you happy.
@@Kassiapiano Thank you for playing these fabulous pieces for us too!!!
Your hands and the music in someway hypnotized me so strongly that took me some seconds to realize that the music had end
This is such a moving piece, a wonderful take on a already beautiful song.
It looks so complicated, and detailed ♡☆
your fingers are so graceful! love the piece!
Anastasia is my favorite animation!!! i really really luv this song. thx kassia!
woah, nice done! I didn’t really expect you to play this music XD
great arrangement also
I first heard this version many years ago, and always wanted to play it, but could never find any videos to help me with the fingerings.
Thank you, I am really happy that you played this.
i could hear this all day long, everyday ... you're really touching my emotions everytime i hear you play ... thank you !
Thank you!:)💕
@@Kassiapiano you're very welcome, do you think you could add this song to your spotify channel ?
I saw this show on Broadway when my marching band played in the 2017 Macy's day parade!!! It's definitely one of my favorite musicals.
Hearing this makes me feel sad and it felt like this piece fits perfectly of what's happening right now. The virus that's spreading through out the world, the number of infected people, the deaths, their loved ones that are left behind. You did a great job on this Kassia. I'm looking forward listening to your other videos!
Tears rolling down my...so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, so very tender.
中学の時にアナスタシアのアニメ映画見たわ~。この曲は好きなのでKassiaさんの演奏で聴けて嬉しいです。
ありがとうございます。💕
Moved me to tears. I’ve seen this beautiful animation since I was very young. This was touching💖💖
Omg this is hard. Btw the colorful leds are beautiful. :)
Btw very clean and emotional performance, congratulations Kassia! You surprising me more and more each video
Hi, Sir Luoco!:) Always thank you for your comment and support!💕
Dancing Bears
Painted Wings
Things I almost remember.
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December.
Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully across my memory.
Someone holds me safe and warm.
Horses prance through a silver storm.
Figures dancing gracefully across my memory.
Far away,
Long ago,
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart
Used to know
Things it yearns to remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December
Kassia é uma verdadeira inspiração! Me dá ânimos para treinar bastante e um dia chegar nesse nível!
Verdade
This is honestly one of my favorite songs hands down. Thank you.
Oh my GOSH, that is so pretty! Good job Kassia!
Thank you for your words, Baked_Potato:)💕
This has been one of my favorite songs for a long time! Beautiful and moving
I've never heard this piece like this. So I'm starting to learn this from this point :) Amazing performance
Thank you! Try!💕
Stay as blessed as you are
Волшебно,прелестно,очаровательно. Браво!!!
I cannot stop listning to this magic! I want to cry from this true beauty💫thank you so much 🙏
That change of color is nice
This brings back some memories. Never knew the piano piece was so good.
I didn’t know this piece, it’s very charming! I love the fact you are able to play with such expression; even though the piece has strong dynamics, it was still so... soft, I can’t describe it better.
The only thing I know is that you never fail to amaze me, my congratulations!
Have a Good Day! ;}
Hi, Giorgio.:) I love this piece.:) It's so beautiful. Thank you for your kind words!💕 Have a nice day!
Beautiful and haunting. I love this interpretation of the song.
Beautiful song.. I haven't heard it before too.. well played miss😊
Beautiful. It always brings her face straight into my mind.
OMG so good! Kassia, you are a truly awesome player, so keep on your work please :)
Hi, 정채야!:) Always thank you for your support!:)💕
@@Kassiapiano :)
Perfect💯,,,,,от души!!! Из РОССИИ С любовью!
I stopped playing the piano last year for different personal reasons. It's frustrating every time I try to play and just my body doesn't respond, so I don't even try to touch it anymore, and I don't hear any piano-related pieces. I'm so glad to see you play, never stop.

Lyrics for this song if anyone is interested:
Dancing bears, painted wings

Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Once upon a December
Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory
Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember
Things my heart used to know
Things it yearns to remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December
I've been waiting for this, thank you
Wow.:) Thank you!💕
Holding is not for the graphics, it differenciates accents on the melody. And the light is probably a led light strip added to the piano for effect.
Hauntingly beautiful.... one of the most stunning pieces from Anastasia. Thank you for sharing 😊😊
