I hope you enjoy this new style of Genshin Impact theory video! If you have any thoughts, concerns, or feedback, Please let me know!!! Thank you for the support everyone! Much love!
Abyssal energy could offer some kind of gravitational function or shadowed after images that deal some kind of effect. Light can be beams/arrows of light, waves of light, or barriers of light or even constructs made of light. BOTH elements are able to change shape, so it's possible to have weapons change shape for stance changes. A good example of this is Childe obviously.
Speaking about the new style of videos' quality, you indeed made it pretty neat and easy to catch up unto which I really love since this also made you feel more comfortable in making said videos. Theory videos doesnt necessarily need to be over the top and can be separated to parts if said theory is quite big and explorative Two big thumbs up Island! Hope to see more of your theory videos ❤
Even if I’m just a new player- just so you know… I like to believe the light element is a mixture of all 7 elements soo it isn’t exactly a single element. The unknown god used a different seal on the siblings probably for a reason. What is soo powerful that not even light can escape it- a Blackhole! So it simply means that the second- who-came used the abyss probably. It’s impossible to beat god with a gun unless you use a element that not even god could use-
This arkhe system is just recycled content. The mechanic has been in the game since Inazuma. They just repackaged it with a new name. We even saw it in Sumeru. Remember those things that a Dendro character needed to get in order to solve a Dendro puzzle? Dendro would float around Collei while trying to hit a Dendro target. This is the same mechanic. We will probably see something similar in the next region.
yeah genshin implements seemingly random mechanics everywhere before they release it to literally test how players react to it. there was one mini game from this year's summer event that was basically to teach us to swim and avoid attacks underwater.
4:38 It's not just Yelan in that cutscene. We know from Rene's Investigation Notes that Khaenri'ahn machines are powered by annihilation reactions, and the Ruin Serpent is *covered* in purple and gold during its charge up attack. Then there's all the gold effects associated with the twins - the most interesting being during the fight against Raiden. Vision holders, those who are capable of ascending to godhood, temporarily grant their power to our traveller, to take down a god who has received gnosis (but has not truly achieved it herself). So if vision holders are capable but do not seem to ever reach gnosis themselves (aside from the seven original archons and *probably* Vanessa), what kind of power would a visionless bearer of the elements have once they have acquired all the elements and achieve gnosis themselves? Maybe the power to dethrone a dying god.
I think that a part he missed is the sin, and that's probably because it'll be revealed too soon and maybe unrelated but I think it may actually be their sin since that power is automatically aligned to fontainers like lyney and lynette and was something that khaneriah would use but seems to have been totally forgotten by all others except for a few hints like yelan and that but are also from the far past not new knowledge that they found
@@volde486 By understanding the truth of existence (or at least, that which is embodied by their particular element) the original seven archons obtained gnosis - both in the gnostic sense of knowledge, and in the Genshin sense of a physical magical focus. Vennessa ascended to Celestia, and in the process created the tree at Windrise that is capable of healing Venti. I guess the question to ask yourself here is - did she ever actually obtain a vision? If so, is she being invited because she achieved gnosis and has become a god? Or should we interpret Venti's avoidance of answering the question as saying that she has merely been seen as interesting by the gods? To be honest I'm not entirely sure whether Vennessa should be included there. Whatever the case, achieving gnosis seems to be incredibly rare to the point that even the successor archons may not have truly grasped it themselves - to no surprise, since the originals had probably thousands of years in the archon wars to comprehend it.
but gnosis are not a good thing, its hinted by nahida that they are used by celestia to control the archons and have a direct link to them. also it seems that the visions themselves are something like a control device made by celestia, ever since kazuha managed to use electro too, its not like the vision has an element, is that kazuha managed to awaken electro within him and thats why the vision lit up. think about it.... celestia hides many things from the people, in inazuma visions that were taken away basicly made the people sick. teyvat's people are mostly prone to have elemental powers becuz of how the world works, on elements... but celestia couldnt have none of that without some oversight, since if people come together they could take out celestia from power. maybe visions are given when celestia senses that the person have an unusual strong elemental power, so they need to control it somehow, so they invented visions and made a whole story on how people get them... maybe tsaritsa figured shit out and thats why she collected the gnosis, maybe the gnosis are like visions for the archons: to keep them under control. maybe the real play is to free people of teyvat from celestia's control. she wants to use them to go against celestia and free people..might even explain why tsarita is the only archon that can give out delusion, maybe she found a way to overwrite visions, but becuz humans are fragile usully, delusions make them sick to death (would explain why childe suddenly loses control of his vision, maybe his powers getting stronger and celestia cant control his elemetal powers, i think it has something to do with what he told us about skirk, and how he was found guilty even though theoreticly he was a baby when the cases started, so he might not be as young as we all assumed 19 but he might be 34, he was 14 when he fell into abyss & awakened whatever he did, and the cases started 20 years ago when primodial waters appeared, this is the only thing that would makes sense to why he was found guilty by the machine; maybe hes conntected to the primodial waters and that was what he awakened as told to him by skirk and him having the whale image, whales are known to be primodial creatures. the question neuvieltte asked was about his responsibility to the dissapeareces, he didnt said "you are not the one who made them dissapear" he said "you are not responsible?" so if he was the one who awakened the primodial waters even without knowing, it would indirectly make him responsible for it, hence guilty. IF HE WASNT CHILDE WHOULD HAVE EASLY PROVEN THAT TO THEM BY REVEALING HIS AGE OR LOCATION, lore wise they didnt make him prove it becuz theres a 100% connection XDDDD AND LOOK AT CHARACTERS WHO ARE PART ELEMENTAL LIKE YANFEI\xiao or any other half human beings gorou\itto\diona... naturaly they should have elemental powers becuz they are attuned to nature, and the nature in teyvat is overfloweing with elemental forms. i hope it makes sense (and with fontaine lore and the existance of neuvilette it seems that full elemental beings cannot get a vision becuz they are more powerful than the vision trinket and it wont work on them) \\\\\ traveller for example doesnt aquire new powers or elements, becuz he resonates with the statues and the elemental natural power within them is the key to remove the seal that the unknow god place on him. and becuz we know his original power is that of light (cloths and wings were dead giveaway), the 7 elements are a prism that contianed in light... and our abyss twin has the element of darkness\abyss (based on the quests we did when we met her).. and it fits the lore becuz dainslief said to traveler that when the time comes he would have to choose saving the world from abyss and fighting his sibiling or choosing his sibiling over anything.
3:00 if you read rene's books it makes more sense. Basically pneuma is celestial energy and ousia is abyssal one. Their annihilation creates energy. Thats basically what the khaenriahns were trying to do The reason why fontaine visions have one of those is because they absorb it from the environment
Great insight! From a game developer perspective, pneuma and ousia won't just be in Fontaine (despite their claims), they've spent so many resources implementing the mechanics that it'd be a waste not to use it. Your examples of how the devs were testing swimming, by introducing the Pari "flying" mechanic and the wanderer were spot on. I'd also like to add the devs also introduced boats during Klee's first summer island event, which they later added for Inazuma.
@@jojomicheldu59fr, I couldn't even count how many interesting and fun to play event mechanics just bleep out of existence after the next version come and the cycle repeats 💀
@@supayambaekWhat'd you expect them to do tho, a less than 1 update timeframe is not enough of a time for them to roll out the mechanic, take in criticism, tweak the mechanics, test it again, then do a proper integration of the mechanic. It's basically a smaller version of the beta testing they do for their games, and we all know games don't just magically launch properly immediately after beta testing.
Not only could they make it temporary just because, even if they do keep it, the mechanic will probably remain non-functional outside of this specific region, just like the region specific mechanics they do in EVERY SINGLE REGION OF THE GAME!!!
Throughout the archon quest Neuvillette is heavily implied to be the hydro dragon with the rain that starts and stops along with what Friminet says about the hydro dragon crying. He doesn’t have a vision because he doesn’t need one, like the archons or Yae who has a vision but can use electric elemental energy despite having a vision.
@@zelits But her vision glows when in proximity to starsplinter iron? The characters who do have fake visions don't have their visions glow when near that ore.
@@sruthi267yeah I’m pretty sure Yae’s is real and she was just pulling our leg about it for this fact. I mean she probably can use Electro without it but her vision is definitely real.
If they add the arkhe system for every character, that mean they can go in and buff every character they want. So beside just extra damage like what we have so far, the arkhe system can give buff, give utility and other stuff that other character may need.
@@Becelitka well, they exist only in Fontaine NOW. We don't know how the 4.x Archon Quest will change the world after we complete it, after all we literally CHANGED the lore of the game after deleting Rukkhadevata from Irminsul.
@@Becelitka I mean things can always change. Something happens in the Archon quest, and the arkhe system spread to the rest of teyvat. With how Hoyoverse is writing the lore and story. They could just about do anything they want.
Genshin is in it's unofficial "open beta", and what i mean by that is they're constantly adding new stuff, temporarily or not, to test new future mechanics. They didn't just add two new elemenets for Fontaine just for funsies, they're testing the waters so that they're prepared when it's time to release the real thing
The thing with Physical type damage, is that it can not exist at the same time as any of the elements. Any character can deal physical damage (any non-catalyst), deals either that OR their elemental one, not both at the same time (the elemental damage overwrites the physical type). Pneuma and Ousia are on top of the normal damage type/element, and that means that they are on top of the physical one also. So, they are not in the same category.
Great video Island! Thanks for taking the time. I think (But am not sure) in the Pari quest they also mention using Arkhium as an anergy source (as genshin's equivalent to a radioactive element perhaps?) so i also figure the name of Arkhe may come from that.
This is such a great point to bring up. I was always wondering how they would tackle the quantum or imaginary element/ powers in genshin. The implications of it's existence was always there and now the clues are and lore is more out in the open. Sorta. But I understand how tye devs are not out right saying that it's quantum or imaginary due tye setting and lore of genshin. Compared to the other games the concept is already more common because it's actually been actively researched or experimented in those games but in genshin it's still more of a mystery because I suppose due to lore ppl in the game haven't advanced that far yet or it's getting different names like abyss and life energy. Really curious to see what they cook up.
I think this is the only logical reason they would have added them to the game. And would make a lot of sense when you look at characters like Dainsleif and Tartaglias secret power
yea and childe has “already touched the abyss” similar to dain who has been through the abyssal portal and probably *in* the abyss, both of them also have a “dark” element as a power
tart's secret power might be his true hydro powers that are stronger that the visions can control: this is why he might think he looses control over his vision, but in fact the vision cant surpress childe's elemental power XD. i theorize that the visions are a control device by celestia to make sure no human become stronger than celestia so no one can overthrown them, just like gnosis are devices to control the archons. (copypasting my comment from above ) since kazuha managed to use electro too, its not like the vision has an element, is that kazuha managed to awaken electro within him and thats why the vision lit up. think about it.... celestia hides many things from the people, in inazuma visions that were taken away basicly made the people sick. teyvat's people are mostly prone to have elemental powers becuz of how the world works, on elements... but celestia couldnt have none of that without some oversight, since if people come together they could take out celestia from power. maybe visions are given when celestia senses that the person have an unusual strong elemental power, so they need to control it somehow, so they invented visions and made a whole story on how people get them... maybe tsaritsa figured shit out and thats why she collected the gnosis, maybe the gnosis are like visions for the archons: to keep them under control. maybe the real play is to free people of teyvat from celestia's control. she wants to use them to go against celestia and free people..might even explain why tsarita is the only archon that can give out delusion, maybe she found a way to overwrite visions, but becuz humans are fragile usully, delusions make them sick to death (would explain why childe suddenly loses control of his vision, maybe his powers getting stronger and celestia cant control his elemetal powers, i think it has something to do with what he told us about skirk, and how he was found guilty even though theoreticly he was a baby when the cases started, so he might not be as young as we all assumed 19 but he might be 34, he was 14 when he fell into abyss & awakened whatever he did, and the cases started 20 years ago when primodial waters appeared, this is the only thing that would makes sense to why he was found guilty by the machine; maybe hes conntected to the primodial waters and that was what he awakened as told to him by skirk and him having the whale image, whales are known to be primodial creatures. the question neuvieltte asked was about his responsibility to the dissapeareces, he didnt said "you are not the one who made them dissapear" he said "you are not responsible?" so if he was the one who awakened the primodial waters even without knowing, it would indirectly make him responsible for it, hence guilty. @@yukichan177 my only thing with that is that visions are given to people based on the archon of an element and some kind of virtue. So In Kazuha’s case I thought it had to do with his friends spirit/kazuha’s will. If it was the case that visions are to control peoples power why doesn’t everyone have elemental powers then?
Amazing insights with the Pneuma/Ousia mechanics and its future applications to different aspects of Genshin! It's giving me hope that they will be adding this when Dain becomes playable. I'm also hopeful that Neuvillette's position of being playable without a vision is a test for future characters with no vision and expand on the Annihilation mechanic more.
I personally think if they are going to add the Light and Dark elements, they might have similar reactions to geo or anemo. It might be the same reaction with all the reactable elements, but with different effects like how swirl and crystallize work. This would add new 'elements' while not adding too much complex mechanics like dendro
hey island! i really like this style of video- i hope you had fun making it! I cant recall where I know this from but I remember that sometime we learned that the elements the abyssal monsters use are not exactly the same as the ones playable characters use (with their vision)- i kinda got the impression that the abyss or ousia reflects light differently so the element of cryo for example appears differently as well. and all that really reminded me of what you said in the video
Thought this new format seemed great! You set up your premise and walked through the pillars you used to support your premise at a reasonable pace while hitting all the points well. If this format works well for you, I think it works well for us, too! One way they could add Light and Dark that I considered could relate to de/buffs. Given the annihilation reaction pneuma and ousia have, it could be interesting to have one type apply buffs or debuffs, as well as negate debuffs/buffs. Just another mechanical possibility.
Technically archons don't have a vision and we've already had Miko as an exception who does have the vision gem displayed on her but it's not encased in the inazuma crest like for literally every other vision holder and the only one who has the same pattern is Raiden having the gem inside her fan decoration on her back. Nuvi if we really want to speculate is either the dragon reincarnated into the human that was hinted in lore or something of a higher rank Oceanid, we literally just had an event with oceanids transforming into humans and they all had a different shaped ear similar to him. What is super suspicious is Dainsleif, his power seemed more bluish and we can see Ousia being very much purpe and so the questions are - Is Dainsleif using Abyss powers which are different from Ousia? - IIs it Khaenri'ah related ability and not Abyss/Ousia? - Is Ousia = Abyss power? But the thing is Hoyo does not change the color of Elements and Abilities... Every cryo ability looks the same, every Pyro ability looks the same in terms of VFX coloration ofc so why is his ability Blue + black and not Purple + black? The abyss twin did use something that looks like Ousia however, his/her sword was glowing purple emitting a black/dark purple aura. Either way I'm really looking forward to this region's Dainsleif quest - those are always great
I think pneuma and ousia would be great mechanic to implement into every character during late stages where max level is beyond lvl90, and each character gets an arkhe alignment. As for how pneuma and ousia would react within the elemental system, I think the annihilation reaction could be the VV of elements, where it would nullify all physical and elemental resistances of enemies hit and erases any buffs applied to them, which has parallels with removing buffs through destroying the amplifying totems. The underwhelming characters can be given an edge with the arkhe system, such as easier means of applying pneuma or ousia, or applying it faster or many times. Amber could be given pneuma-infused arrows every x CA, Qiqi applies ousia every time her orb rotates around her and heals, Dehya applies pneuma alongside each hit her skill does
My favorite thing in the game so far was the lantern in the Chasm Underground. I loved the little lamp against the darkness. I loved the Light seelies, and those purple slime puddles. I just thought Hoyo was really onto something. I figured that Light and Dark were sort of the underlying elements of the world, different from the 7 elements. I cannot wait to see how it goes. Haven't engaged too much with Pneuma and Ousia, so here's hoping they're as cool as the lamps in the Chasm.
Firstly, enjoying the format! Keep it up man! Lorewise it is interesting how we've always gotten hints of Quantum and Imaginary in Teyvat but they've never really showed themselves in pure form. This is especially true for the "Dark" aligned energies. We've had Abyss, Filth, Tatarigami, Withering, Corrosion, Dark Mud, Forbidden Knowledge and lastly Pneuma. They look and sound similar but their stability with their surroundings is what separates them. Some can be used by abyssal creatures without any damage (Maybe because there is nothing left to damage in the first place), some are slowly eroding the environment (Withering), some are eroding the hosts (mobs in yashiori), some when used gurantees a nuke by celestia (Forbidden knowledge) while a derivative of it is sort of stable in the chasm (Dark mud). Pneuma on the other hand is the most stable and can be used by non fontainians when picked up and it doesn't kill the environment. Of course, Pneuma can be entirely different from the abyss and forbidden knowledge but the thing that makes me think they are linked is the fact that fontainians can use them innately. What else is innate to them right now? "Sin", which is also affiliated with the abyss. Tldr; Imo The devs are slowly integrating Quantum and Imaginary in Teyvat. It's just its not in their purest form rather different derivatives. As for why the Quantum derivatives "harm" the inhabitants of teyvat while in hi3 and hsr the characters are fine, maybe teyvat itself repels pure quantum energy.
Well thats because Irminsul is the imaginary tree and the abyss is the sea of quanta. If Irminsul is the core of the world then it would mean Teyvat is made up of imaginary and therefore get damaged by any quantum(abyssal) energy that enters it
Maybe that’s why Neuvillete literally one shot the Foul Legacy Transformation on the cut scene, as Childe uses Abyss Energy (ousia) and our new Primordial hydro dragon it’s pneuma 🤔 that could explained it 😅
Great video, definitely raises some intriguing questions. I'm a bit confused about the fact that only new Fontaine have the Pneuma/Ousia mechanic and that so far it seems completely separate of elemental reactions. What I see as important property, when you annihilate pneuma and ousia on an aligned monster, you remove all its elemental abilities and leave it only with physical attacks. That may play important role in the future. It would be very interesting if we got the same thing back, for example if Lynette lost her E and Q if some Pneuma attack annihilated her Ousia charge. Reminds me of our fight with Raiden Shogun, btw. Even with annihilation being the only reaction Pneuma and Ousia provide that might have serious impact on combat in general. But with 60 characters without any Pneuma/Ousia abilities already in the game it will be interesting what they will do about it to avoid instant powerscreep of anything that came in first three years of the game.
Thing is I think nuevette simply doesn't have a vision because he's a dragon and doesn't need one, but that doesn't explain why raiden has a vision because she doesn't need one either and she doesn't need to keep up appearances. What I think is funny though is the only visionless charecter we can play, traveler, *technically* has *a* vision because they have childe's now lol
Character may get this new ability with ascension from lev 90 to 100 in a future update. Some things that may be a problem for its implemention will be implementing it for every character and a new material for ascension or rebalancing of material required for ascension.
I would like to see more reactions, mainly with Geo, Anemo and Physical. I don't think it would be a problem for gameplay, because you don't need to think much during gameplay, just for team building. I hope they bring something new with Navia to make Geo work better. Some ideas include Geo + Hydro = Mud, or Geo + Anemo = Sand (sand storm). Also Petrify could be a Geo reaction (Zhongli). Anemo + Physical = Cut (Wind that slashes like a razor).
@@bisayafascist5725 Yeah, cool ideas. Just remove crystalise from the game and have more reactions. Maybe best if reactions are only between Geo, Anemo, Physical (mostly) to balance the meta.
These theories support that childe delusion form will definitely be playable. The new artifact set can also prove that, since delusion take your life energy and childe is mostly used for his skill.
Since they released Inhibitor Lunae, a 2nd version of Dan Heng, in Honkai Star Rail, this means they could do this with Tartaglia as well. In fact it would have been better if the Hydro version was called Childe and the delusion version is called Tartaglia.
@@utilae1 I don't think they will ever do it, like they don't even do it for the main character or any one important, at least in star rail it seems much obvious that march 7th will get a 5 star meta form eventually, and who knows if himeko and welt, at this point childe could also die in the story
Also Fontaine is for now first nation that has the real, threat of being destroyed. Maybe because Pneuma and ousia for now only exist in Fontaine and Celestia is perhap not happy about it. I think it is time that Celestia makes a move and reveals itself as a player in that convoluted chess game
i could see this not as a overall game mechanic but as a regional/ regional enemy type mechanic we know that fontaine enemies are efected by the ousia and pneuma reducing for limited time their attacks and effects and maybe this only stays as the form to defeat THESE kind of enemies similar way through the game liyue had the rolling dragons who needed a shield to flip them over inazuma had the rift hounds who had their weakness meter of electro and geo the desert has the pyramid bots who have an electro phase as part of their fight regardless if you ignore it or dont maybe these kind of enemeies who need the light and darkness could stay as an enemy type and then when natlan enters some new mechanic would spawn tho the think and idea to link the missing elements this way could be really good on paper
I wouldn't say ousia is like a body...more like the "essence" or "stuff of things" as my professor used to put it. I have a feeling this is a primer for creation in future patches where you use the essence of something and a spirit, insert it into a material object like a body and create life. Albedo will probably be back Ps the syzergy bit was really cool will check it out!
Wouldn't "essence" be spirit in philosophy? Consider Plato's cave and define a cat. What makes a cat a cat? We can describe all sorts of imperical (physical) traits, but those traits could also be shared by other creatures. The opposite of impericism would be rationalism, which rather takes the metaphysical concepts of a thing, which is the essence, the something that gives a cat "catness."
@MrOmnistar I'm not too familiar with Plato's cave but what I've searched so far sounds like it's about perceived vs actual reality. Not really about what makes something what it is. What you described about the cat is actually ousia! You'll be able to find similar examples about "what is white" that line up perfectly with your cat example
@s0shite I am very familiar with the "what is white" question. It was a topic that was explored during a course I took in epistemology. But "white" is easy to define, you just have to answer "the presence of every color plus light." Of course, you have to know exactly what "color" is. Not the physical descriptions of it, but rather the most defining quality that makes it what it is. Now, like I said, it is easy to describe "white." But what is green? Now, you can give me a scientific answer, and you would be correct, but you are only answering the question from empericism. Yes, the grass and leaves are green during the summer. You could point a green car to me. You could point out green eyes. What why do we call then "green?" Why do we nor call them "blue?" Or yellow?" What difference do they make, anyway? The moment you let go of general descriptions, you let go of empirical and scientific understanding, which looks for the body of things, (though it is often joked, and for good reason anyway that scientists make poor philosophers,) and start asking what is the true essence of a thing, which is rationalism.
@@MrOmnistar I believe we are talking about the same thing. Just using different terms to describe it. Anyway, my original comment was more about the analogy that "ousia" is "body". I had no problems with "pneuma" being "soul" or "spirit" as per the definition Island provided so if you want to argue that "ousia" is "essence = spirit" (from your first reply) I'll leave that to you. Peace out ✌
@@s0shite Your original comment was: "I wouldn't say ousia is like a body...more like the 'essence' or 'stuff of things.'" My argument was against ousia being essence as essense describes the metaphysical whereas body describes the physical. But, if you want to believe otherwise, I'll leave that to you.
Just a thought on mechanics for Pneuma and Ousia, I know in Brave Frontier (god rest its soul) they had each of the elements interact with each other while Light & Dark only interacted with each other. I think this could work in Genshin with little to no affect in the complexity of gameplay for casual players, while the sweats could include it into buildcrafting with great success. Just have an "Annihilate" interaction where the damage is increased for the side applied last.
My simple guessing is cuz fontain is the land of "justice" and justice can be both light and black, right and wrong which is why the acron herself has 2 eyes each pointing at light and dark
the energy source is clearly a referrence to science, as in matter and anti matter and their collision results in the release of energy. it not an element, it is the subatomic things that make up the element.
I would be an interesting way to shake up the meta. Put most of the meta-powerfull stuff on one side of the equation, put the less used characters on the other side of the equation. Thus the entire meta shifts drastically. And what side of the equation a character is on does not have to be a stable thing. If they could switch characters from one side to the other with a simple switch in the engine, then if the meta is getting too stale, or too powerful, they could shift things around and force the meta to reshuffle. Without changing how a character plays or their strengths.
I wonder if these correlate because they made sure to also mention this when you do chongyun’s hangout. He’s “full” of Yang energy. Which is what helps with his exorcisms.
Another you might want to note of is that pneuma and ousia came from Khaenri’ah. You can read this in wiki fandom page for the Oratrice Mechanique d’analyse Cardinale.
Given that Fontaine is based on Industrial France I think the Pneuma and Ousia interactables are like a man made/mass produced/diet version of the actual light and dark elements
Note that Arkhe does it stuff and deals elemental damage at the same time (Ousia/Pneuma aligned "element" damage as the game states). So, I think when we reach Khaenri'ah, they will release "pure" Arkhe characters that deals Pneuma/Ousia aligned Physical damage (as this is the nation without God/element). Dainsleif is probably Physical + Ousia. Or even multi-element characters like Jakob (Ousia + 3 elements).
In card game, we have universal dice, which replaces other elements. It kinda reminds me of Traveler's power as he can resonate with every element using Archont's Statues. We know that Arkhe energy was discovered by Alain Guillotin who, as I remember, used research about the power of the Abyss and Khvarenah. The last one has no willpower, unlike the power of the abyss, but can destroy it, as stated in Rene's diary. The word 'Khvarenah' came from Zoroastrianism, it's kind of a god's blessing and symbolizes the wisdom and power of will. The one who's blessed with it has a mission to complete something. So Traveler is blessed by it, so he should save Teyvat. Seems like Traveler's sibling and Dain use the Abyss' power as it was in Khaenri'ah.
I think what would be awesome is the ability to allign your characters with pneuma or ousia. like after reaching lvl 90 with a character, you can do something to allign them with a path that gives them extra passives
So I understand this might not be a popular way to describe the issues with Genshin, because a lot of folks don't do FPS games. But look first at 'Shadowgun Ledgends' Yea, there's RNG to an extent, but it means almost nothing, because you can rock all over that as long as you've put in some grind. A reasonable amount as well. Nothing crazy. For my most heavy example, its COD Mobile. All you really gotta do there is practice, learn the maps, get your secondary equipment how you like it, and Bingo! You now can compete in almost every aspect of the game. Virtually everything that needs real money, are just skins and cool weapon animations. And they actually listen to their content creators.
I think this is a great format and it will be nice to see more of you in video form in the future. I've got to be honest though and say, that you lost me at the end. I have no idea why you put physical next to pneuma and ousia and in general it wasn't clear at all what your final conclusion or prediction was. It left me feeling like you were rambling and then just had to cut it off because you didn't know where to go from there. It may very well be, that that's just me not paying enough attention, but if you were to anounce more clearly what your final conclusion is, I think it would help. Besides the ending I really liked the whole video and also felt like I learned some new things and truely was inspired to do my own theorising off of your ideas.
6:10 Isn't it because he's an archon? I mean I was pretty sure that Neuvillette-Farina was a "double archon", brother and sister or whatever they were. I don't remember when I heard that theory, it was long before Fontaine was released. But now, from what I've seen in the first act, it makes even more sense to me that younger Farina is an entertaining façade for Fontainians while the actual guy behind is her maturer "sibling".
this arche thing is also an obvious hint of how khvarena's light and abyssal power coexist, as they similarly annihilate each other and are able to rewrite the rules (whatever it means for now)
Annihilation in physics sense refers to matter and anti-matter colliding and obliterating each-other. The fact the devs used that term probably because it has a context shared between Pneuma and Ousia. Anti-matter is the same as normal matter but with an opposite charge, meaning when the two interact they cancel each-other out. Animation wise, Ousia releases energy/light, while Pneuma absorbs it. Rather than Annihilating, its probably more akin to they combine to create life itself, hence the mechanical entities have both the absorption of Pneuma and the release of Ousia and act like living organisms rather than robotic movement. Dainsleif having "Pneuma" element? could also tie into why the Heavenly Principles destroyed Khaenri'ah, if Khaenri'ans manipulated the energies that create life to empower themselves against the gods. If thats the case, it probably ties in with why Fontaine has been utilizing Khaenri'an technology to create energy Weird random thoughts :l
Would it possible that the case of the Primordial Sea Water exist only for Fontainian does connected to this? Very interesting that they put the Pneuma and Ousia at different people since vision are granted by celestia. Or it is because of the duality characteristic of Furina? (matching the whole situation to the archon) But anyway thank you for the food of thought!!
Elemental reactions should be separate from the new mechanics. Anemo, Physical & Geo these elements should be the only ones who can interact with new buffs like Light & Abyss
I think we’re all forgetting about two other elements Omni and abyss (light and dark) not only can we see that Omni is already a know element with a symbol in the card game and dainsleif will almost definitely have abyssal which is why I believe that pneuma and ousia are fragments of Omni and abyss which would fit in with the whole light verses dark style because they cancel each other out
Also in the chasm the interplay between the sludge and the light imbued crystals/things is showing the direct conflict between shadow and light so it's a good bet we're headed toward more direct inclusion of entities that wield those powers. It's far too much of a coincidence that imaginary is directly connected to light, and quantum to darkness in honkai. Possibly also that in the outside universe (beyond the various worlds) theres just light and shadow interplay and that when you ENTER the various worlds those things are CHANGED into local variants (like quantum and imaginary in honkai)
well its kinda clickbait, I mean they hid it for 3 years? its literally in the first scene of the game with the travelers and celestia using light, and not much later dainsleif using abyss
i also wanna add that yelan music is more jazzy compared to lyruie other people plus she used the pnumea surge thingy so maybe a chance she is or has family from foantine ???
If I have a theory, I would say that light and dark with the very first elements that were created in the universe if you really think about it, one cannot exist without the other since penouma means soul it’s possible that that’s the element that Celestia has the power of if you really think about it, we know that visions are celestial objects, created from celestia, and that it physically represents the ambition of the person who wields the element basically connecting to the soul but with dark I think, is supposed to represent the abyss, and we know that the abyss have changed the khaenrians physically into a monstrous form, basically like the abyss lectores which represents the definition of ousia which is “to be” what further proves this is the fact that childes vison starts to act up in Fountaine we know that he holds the foul legacy, which is a abyssal power and a vision, which is a celestial power it’s a possibility that fell legacy is opposing his vision, which is pretty much opposing his ambition as well we do you know he says that he’s been feeling sad or empty something like that if I’m going to be honest, I feel like penouma and ousia are just the the weaker versions of light and dark they don’t show any significant damage in the game they just stun the enemies so it’s a possibility that they don’t have any elemental reaction to other elements as of yet but if I had to predict that, if those two elements were to be playable, I feel like it would increase the dmg of the elements if you use light and dark will decrease the dmg of other enemies in a way I feel like the travelers also kind of represent light and dark with the traveler sibling being “soul” and the abyss sibling it being “to be”. Another thing I would like to add is that it’s possible that the dark elements or the abyss grew too powerful in teyvat to the point it was even able to defeat light but I believe even before the seven sovereigns that the light element split its self to the seven elements system to repel the abyss with each element having its own great importance This could also Coraline with the gnosis theory cryo and geo elements were most likely supposed to protect the world of teyvat from the abyss (rook) while Pyro and Hydro were the dmg dealers (knight) and dendro and electro were sopposed to support each other and spread healing or were suppose to bring knowledge to the life forms to survive (bishop) as for Anemo I believe it’s a possibility that it’s a weak verson of light and dark combination I mean if you put ousia in a penouma stand (basically those things or puzzles where you’re supposed to put the two elements together if you played Fountaine you will know what I mean) anyways if you combine them together to make a type of light blue cyan color that suspiciously it looks like the color of Anemo it’s a possibility that Anemo doesn’t just come from light, but also dark I mean I feel like I think that proves this is the fact that ventis gnosis is a queen which is a celestial thing from the heavenly principles and the fact the abyss order took the Anemo statue of the seven which was located in liyue If you do a deep analyze on this, it makes a lot of sense and I don’t believe the Archons that ended up ruling over teyvat suspiciously have the seven elements system considering that one of the four states is the god of time it’s possible that iseroth for saw the future or saw a glimpse of it and saw who the 7 Archon rulers were going to be and she told the prime or do you want about this its even possible that the Archon war even started just because of this future or it could’ve started because the abyss was leaking in teyvat and the seven elements are the only ones that can actually repel the abyss all together thus the seven archons were born I’m inclined to believe that venti was even created just because of the glimpse of the future, that the God of time saw it’s a possibility that he has a much more important role in teyvat maybe being more important than the traveler themself there’s a lot to talk about on this theory and it’s very interesting because there’s lotta facts that prove this especially since the god of time helped mokoto create the Sakura tree to be planted in the present, but be born in the past “Edit” Something I forgot to add is that it’s possible celestia gave people visions so that the abyss and the power of the seven elements could be stronger to stop the abyss because almost all of the vision holders that we have all have relations to the Archons based on the element
I think the two new elements might actually just be enhancements to existing elements and reactions. They would t create double the already existing reactions. Maybe add some status effects, healing, increased AOE, durations, weaknesses, poison, general stat buffs. Sounds confusing, but just say that hydro and pyro will still do evaporate, but being aligned with light would increase physical attack; hydro and cryo will freeze, but aligned with dark will increase frozen duration or light will expand the AOE. Now with that said, would it be cool to see the two initial elements being enhanced by the respective characters? I think so! Ie. Kokomi aligned with light and Ganyu aligned with dark = larger area to freeze for longer duration. Not that charge shooting all enemies with Ganyu is all that exciting, but would be a nice idea.
I think the final elements we are going to get is pretty obvious Light (Lumine) and Void (Aether). The greek figure Aether is associated with day but he is sometimes the son of Night and Darkness
@@Pre4xes_ So, how can they implement it to fit with the other Elements? Let's say he retrieves his Light. Then what? Do we start getting new characters with Light? I don't think it would work well only having the Traveler with Light powers. Also, if it is Light; it most likely would be referred to by another name (like Fire is "Pyro").
@@joesunday199 pretty sure unknown god also uses light but her light powers are corrupted(Not confirmed) And yes we will probably get new *LIGHT* & *ABYSSAL* characters, I mean we already have characters like dainsleif who is confirmed playable and he uses abyssal power We also have skirk(not confirmed playable), our twin, And we will probably get more characters
@@Pre4xes_ Then, the question is how will other characters receive these 2 Elements? With the 7 they get Visions. But these 2 don't have Visions for their Element.
Just a question.. but do you ever notice the rainbow/ glitch-looking effects on certain characters? Some characters get that effect put in their demo trailers.. some have it in the game during their burst. Maybe it is more than just asthetic
Still thinking Neuvillette is an Oceanid. No Vision, Hydro element AND blue hair (some at least, which makes me think he's either very adept at using his humanoid form and/or quite old). Since we were prepared those last updates, that Oceanids in human form have blue hair :)
I have a feeling Arkhe is what we call Strong nuclear force (There are 4 known forces in the world, Gravity, Electromagnetic, Strong and Weak nuclear forces) I have a feeling each of the 4 core elements (electro, hydro, pyro, cryo) reflect each force Electro being electromagnetic, also because of the whole energy system Hydro being a strong force, as in Fontaine it's where Arkhe is discovered Pyro being weak force, as this radiation is how suns/stars are fuelled And Cryo being gravitational bc idk states if matter and shi Ofc this could just be me mixing up my Genshin lore with my real life lore as I have to study a lot :') But I hope I could bring some food for thought...
It's only been 3 years since genshin release and we already have nearly all regions with the elements expect Cyro & pyro region... I have no idea what the future of genshin gonna be and idk if traveler will become Avatar or traveler will combine all elemental power within her/him to awaken thier true power and do some insane changes...
0:42 "everybody would agree that Dainsleif is going to be playable" is irrelevant, he was CONFIRMED TO BE PLAYABLE way back in a bilibili livestream of Genshin Impact celebrating global launch, September 27, 2020.
I don't think there's any evidence at the moment that pneuma and ousia have any relation to celestial energy and abyssal energy or to imaginary and quantum. I think it is possible we could get a character primarily pneuma or ousia alignment, but it's also possible that these are a Fontaine gimmick and we will later get a celestial or abyssal type character that is unrelated to pneuma or ousia, even if the celestial + abyssal reaction is similar.
This makes me wonder how we would define the "Sustainer of Heavenly Principles" in terms of elements and typing, if they were to make her a playable character? Watching her in the Opening Cut Scene battle, she comes through "red" portals (star shape), then they become "yellow" (light?) stars, she steps onto a yellow ripple. Her eyes are "yellow". The colours of her cubes seem to be mostly "red", but go from "back" to "red" to "orange" to "yellow" (light). When she traps the traveler's brother/sister, they are trapped by "red" cubes that become a single "yellow" cube (light). On the "Sustainer's" arm, you can see the cubes as an "animated" black/red colour. The last set of cubes she sends at the traveller starts off as "yellow" (light) but end up mostly as "black" cubes. Makes you wonder how this would work.
Bet that those pseudoelements are just another one-region mechanic that have explanation but don't add anything new to the lore. Like sigils in Sumeru, Electrogranums in Inazuma, plates in Liyue and Anemogranums in Mondstadt. It's funny to see theorycrafters still coping for new element reveal
At best, well get a new element in Khaenri'ah, or some augmentation of the existing ones; I do think it is a bit too soon for a new element, but by 2026, I could see that as a possibility.
maybe Quantum and Imaginary are gonna be for higher beings when we move on from Teyvat chapter that is all about the 7 elements. so if we head to celestia or abyss or somewhere else after teyvat maybe characters from those places like celestial /abyssal gods , traveler etc..would use imaginary and quantum.
I hope you enjoy this new style of Genshin Impact theory video!
If you have any thoughts, concerns, or feedback, Please let me know!!!
Thank you for the support everyone! Much love!
Hello there! It’s a theory video on saturday? 🧐
Theory videos doesnt necessarily need to be over the top and can be separated to parts if said theory is quite big and explorative
Two big thumbs up Island!
We will probably see something similar in the next region.
everyone forgets about this but the light/dark combination was the main mechanic of enkanomiya 😭
yeah genshin implements seemingly random mechanics everywhere before they release it to literally test how players react to it.

I think that a part he missed is the sin, and that's probably because it'll be revealed too soon and maybe unrelated but I think it may actually be their sin since that power is automatically aligned to fontainers like lyney and lynette and was something that khaneriah would use but seems to have been totally forgotten by all others except for a few hints like yelan and that but are also from the far past not new knowledge that they found
Can you explain the Vanessa part? How is she different from vision holders?
IF HE WASNT CHILDE WHOULD HAVE EASLY PROVEN THAT TO THEM BY REVEALING HIS AGE OR LOCATION, lore wise they didnt make him prove it becuz theres a 100% connection XDDDD
AND LOOK AT CHARACTERS WHO ARE PART ELEMENTAL LIKE YANFEI\xiao or any other half human beings gorou\itto\diona... naturaly they should have elemental powers becuz they are attuned to nature, and the nature in teyvat is overfloweing with elemental forms. i hope it makes sense (and with fontaine lore and the existance of neuvilette it seems that full elemental beings cannot get a vision becuz they are more powerful than the vision trinket and it wont work on them)
\\\\\ traveller for example doesnt aquire new powers or elements, becuz he resonates with the statues and the elemental natural power within them is the key to remove the seal that the unknow god place on him. and becuz we know his original power is that of light (cloths and wings were dead giveaway), the 7 elements are a prism that contianed in light... and our abyss twin has the element of darkness\abyss (based on the quests we did when we met her).. and it fits the lore becuz dainslief said to traveler that when the time comes he would have to choose saving the world from abyss and fighting his sibiling or choosing his sibiling over anything.

3:00 if you read rene's books it makes more sense. Basically pneuma is celestial energy and ousia is abyssal one. Their annihilation creates energy. Thats basically what the khaenriahns were trying to do
The reason why fontaine visions have one of those is because they absorb it from the environment
And how did Fontaine absorbed it? Why not Mondstat, Liyue, or any other region?
Because Celestia is above Fontaine :OOO

Great insight! From a game developer perspective, pneuma and ousia won't just be in Fontaine (despite their claims), they've spent so many resources implementing the mechanics that it'd be a waste not to use it. Your examples of how the devs were testing swimming, by introducing the Pari "flying" mechanic and the wanderer were spot on. I'd also like to add the devs also introduced boats during Klee's first summer island event, which they later added for Inazuma.

If they add the arkhe system for every character, that mean they can go in and buff every character they want. So beside just extra damage like what we have so far, the arkhe system can give buff, give utility and other stuff that other character may need.

I'm also hopeful that Neuvillette's position of being playable without a vision is a test for future characters with no vision and expand on the Annihilation mechanic more.
Zhongli's vision is fake, actually. Same with Venti's.
I personally think if they are going to add the Light and Dark elements, they might have similar reactions to geo or anemo. It might be the same reaction with all the reactable elements, but with different effects like how swirl and crystallize work. This would add new 'elements' while not adding too much complex mechanics like dendro
dont forget abyss element as its more possible than light and dark
yeah, thats what i mean by dark@@straykidsenthusiast
abyss is likely the dark element, but idk abt light
A well done explanation throughout the whole video short and concise also you clearly improved in your content and keep it up 👍
Really appreciate the support! Thank you!!!
hey island! i really like this style of video- i hope you had fun making it!
What is super suspicious is Dainsleif, his power seemed more bluish and we can see Ousia being very much purpe and so the questions are
- Is Dainsleif using Abyss powers which are different from Ousia?
- IIs it Khaenri'ah related ability and not Abyss/Ousia?
- Is Ousia = Abyss power?
But the thing is Hoyo does not change the color of Elements and Abilities... Every cryo ability looks the same, every Pyro ability looks the same in terms of VFX coloration ofc so why is his ability Blue + black and not Purple + black?
The abyss twin did use something that looks like Ousia however, his/her sword was glowing purple emitting a black/dark purple aura.
Either way I'm really looking forward to this region's Dainsleif quest - those are always great
Yae Miko's vision-crest is in the same shape as all Inazuman visions
I don't think raiden has one, she just has many accesories that looks like one, also Nahida doesn't have one and zhongli and venti are decoration
@@asoret I just think it's odd that a public figure like nuevette wouldn't make a fake for himself at least
Traveller doesn't need one... they're superficial beings that crossed paths due to project Arc.
Character may get this new ability with ascension from lev 90 to 100 in a future update. Some things that may be a problem for its implemention will be implementing it for every character and a new material for ascension or rebalancing of material required for ascension.
You're insane to be able to think this detailed but you're right.
Great video! Loved the editing!
So you want geo to be wallmart Hydro
A much better Geo reaction would be Geo+Pyro = Lava and when hit with Hydro or Cryo the lava Hardens.
@@bisayafascist5725 Yeah, cool ideas. Just remove crystalise from the game and have more reactions. Maybe best if reactions are only between Geo, Anemo, Physical (mostly) to balance the meta.
1:08 music please ?
I enjoyed watching the video, Island! I am loving the new format you used.
Great video! Many interesting points were made. I’m looking forward to getting answers to some of these questions
I misss your videeoooo aaaaaaa, this is actually an interesting theory 💕
They already hinted at it. We had Light Realm Sigils from the Three Realms Gateway Offering Event
Islandinho vc tá tão lindo querido. Amamos o novo formato, espero que continue bem ❤
its cool how every other game has game theory but genshin has it's own theorists. Also I also thought of that 2.7 cutscene when I heard Pneuma
i could see this not as a overall game mechanic but as a regional/ regional enemy type mechanic
we know that fontaine enemies are efected by the ousia and pneuma reducing for limited time their attacks and effects and maybe this only stays as the form to defeat THESE kind of enemies
similar way through the game
liyue had the rolling dragons who needed a shield to flip them over
inazuma had the rift hounds who had their weakness meter of electro and geo
the desert has the pyramid bots who have an electro phase as part of their fight regardless if you ignore it or dont
maybe these kind of enemeies who need the light and darkness could stay as an enemy type and then when natlan enters some new mechanic would spawn
tho the think and idea to link the missing elements this way could be really good on paper
I wouldn't say ousia is like a body...more like the "essence" or "stuff of things" as my professor used to put it. I have a feeling this is a primer for creation in future patches where you use the essence of something and a spirit, insert it into a material object like a body and create life. Albedo will probably be back
Ps the syzergy bit was really cool will check it out!
Yup, the fox minigame from 3.8 event also had the same controls as diving in Fontainie
imagine if in fontaine's future quest we incur a permanent change where old non-fontaine characters get pneuma and ousia alignment
the energy source is clearly a referrence to science, as in matter and anti matter and their collision results in the release of energy. it not an element, it is the subatomic things that make up the element.
I'm glad I stop by for this!
Great video!! Really like this new style 💜
But now, from what I've seen in the first act, it makes even more sense to me that younger Farina is an entertaining façade for Fontainians while the actual guy behind is her maturer "sibling".
this arche thing is also an obvious hint of how khvarena's light and abyssal power coexist, as they similarly annihilate each other and are able to rewrite the rules (whatever it means for now)
As long as Geo becomes Meta, I welcome new buffs.
whenever Island uploads, it's a good day :'3 keep up the great work!!
If thats the case, it probably ties in with why Fontaine has been utilizing Khaenri'an technology to create energy
Weird random thoughts :l
Considering that HSR has Paths that correlates with their element is very possible that it may come to genshin as well in the future
it's not, no? I mean: we have a ton fck of Hunt chars with many elements alr. same as Nihility. and everything else.
what how? stop making things up. stay seated.
@@reveriesend4668 Yes doesn't makes sense, in star rail seems like all elementes will have all types of characters eventually like genshin
@@rottingmaggotswhat is blud waffling about.
Would it possible that the case of the Primordial Sea Water exist only for Fontainian does connected to this? Very interesting that they put the Pneuma and Ousia at different people since vision are granted by celestia. Or it is because of the duality characteristic of Furina? (matching the whole situation to the archon)
But anyway thank you for the food of thought!!
you forgot to mention that child has stopped using his vision. he handed it over to traveler in the beginning
About genshin lores and details, islandXD, wei and cat with bluehat are the only who can be trusted on this planet
That dearpy Theresa , i thought was some animation xD
Elemental reactions should be separate from the new mechanics.
Anemo, Physical & Geo these elements should be the only ones who can interact with new buffs like Light & Abyss
We all know everything is just a trial for the future.
"Knowledge-based building"
I think we’re all forgetting about two other elements
Omni and abyss (light and dark) not only can we see that Omni is already a know element with a symbol in the card game and dainsleif will almost definitely have abyssal which is why I believe that pneuma and ousia are fragments of Omni and abyss which would fit in with the whole light verses dark style because they cancel each other out
Also in the chasm the interplay between the sludge and the light imbued crystals/things is showing the direct conflict between shadow and light so it's a good bet we're headed toward more direct inclusion of entities that wield those powers.
It's far too much of a coincidence that imaginary is directly connected to light, and quantum to darkness in honkai.
Possibly also that in the outside universe (beyond the various worlds) theres just light and shadow interplay and that when you ENTER the various worlds those things are CHANGED into local variants (like quantum and imaginary in honkai)
even the lay lines are displaying light and dark
great videooooo islandddd
Bro I saw this title and got goosebumps. You are a hero.
well its kinda clickbait, I mean they hid it for 3 years? its literally in the first scene of the game with the travelers and celestia using light, and not much later dainsleif using abyss
i also wanna add that yelan music is more jazzy compared to lyruie other people plus she used the pnumea surge thingy so maybe a chance she is or has family from foantine ???
the way my brother and I came up with something so similar to this before Fontaine 😞
Omg, applying HSR and Tower of Fantasy mechanics would blow my mind.
As much as I love to concentrate, that Teri Teri on your mic is sooooo...
Another thing I would like to add is that it’s possible that the dark elements or the abyss grew too powerful in teyvat to the point it was even able to defeat light but I believe even before the seven sovereigns that the light element split its self to the seven elements system to repel the abyss with each element having its own great importance This could also Coraline with the gnosis theory cryo and geo elements were most likely supposed to protect the world of teyvat from the abyss (rook) while Pyro and Hydro were the dmg dealers (knight) and dendro and electro were sopposed to support each other and spread healing or were suppose to bring knowledge to the life forms to survive (bishop) as for Anemo I believe it’s a possibility that it’s a weak verson of light and dark combination I mean if you put ousia in a penouma stand (basically those things or puzzles where you’re supposed to put the two elements together if you played Fountaine you will know what I mean) anyways if you combine them together to make a type of light blue cyan color that suspiciously it looks like the color of Anemo it’s a possibility that Anemo doesn’t just come from light, but also dark I mean I feel like I think that proves this is the fact that ventis gnosis is a queen which is a celestial thing from the heavenly principles and the fact the abyss order took the Anemo statue of the seven which was located in liyue If you do a deep analyze on this, it makes a lot of sense and I don’t believe the Archons that ended up ruling over teyvat suspiciously have the seven elements system considering that one of the four states is the god of time it’s possible that iseroth for saw the future or saw a glimpse of it and saw who the 7 Archon rulers were going to be and she told the prime or do you want about this its even possible that the Archon war even started just because of this future or it could’ve started because the abyss was leaking in teyvat and the seven elements are the only ones that can actually repel the abyss all together thus the seven archons were born I’m inclined to believe that venti was even created just because of the glimpse of the future, that the God of time saw it’s a possibility that he has a much more important role in teyvat maybe being more important than the traveler themself there’s a lot to talk about on this theory and it’s very interesting because there’s lotta facts that prove this especially since the god of time helped mokoto create the Sakura tree to be planted in the present, but be born in the past
“Edit”
Something I forgot to add is that it’s possible celestia gave people visions so that the abyss and the power of the seven elements could be stronger to stop the abyss because almost all of the vision holders that we have all have relations to the Archons based on the element
. WOW.
Aether is one of the Playable Travelers which means he could receive the "Light" Element (if that's where the series is going).
@@joesunday199he already had light before encountering the unknown god, you can see a white light in their elements things in their clothes

Isn't that what he talks about for most of the video?
Just a question.. but do you ever notice the rainbow/ glitch-looking effects on certain characters? Some characters get that effect put in their demo trailers.. some have it in the game during their burst. Maybe it is more than just asthetic
Give a character as an example pls, I didnt notice and wanna know how it looks like!
Still thinking Neuvillette is an Oceanid. No Vision, Hydro element AND blue hair (some at least, which makes me think he's either very adept at using his humanoid form and/or quite old).
Since we were prepared those last updates, that Oceanids in human form have blue hair :)
I have a feeling Arkhe is what we call Strong nuclear force
(There are 4 known forces in the world, Gravity, Electromagnetic, Strong and Weak nuclear forces)
I have a feeling each of the 4 core elements (electro, hydro, pyro, cryo) reflect each force
Electro being electromagnetic, also because of the whole energy system
Hydro being a strong force, as in Fontaine it's where Arkhe is discovered
Pyro being weak force, as this radiation is how suns/stars are fuelled
And Cryo being gravitational bc idk states if matter and shi
Ofc this could just be me mixing up my Genshin lore with my real life lore as I have to study a lot :') But I hope I could bring some food for thought...
This is actually a very good mechanic to not completely overhaul the Elemental system of the game and to introduce new mechanics.
0:42 "everybody would agree that Dainsleif is going to be playable" is irrelevant,
he was CONFIRMED TO BE PLAYABLE way back in a bilibili livestream of Genshin Impact celebrating global launch, September 27, 2020.
The fact why Neuvillete doesn't have a vision is because he's Furina's companion as archon.
When she traps the traveler's brother/sister, they
are trapped by "red" cubes that become a single "yellow" cube (light). On the "Sustainer's" arm, you can see the cubes as an "animated" black/red colour.
The last set of cubes she sends at the traveller starts off as "yellow" (light) but end up mostly as "black" cubes. Makes you wonder how this would work.
Its just light, guess the red its just to symbol that is "evil"
I automatically new how to do these puzzles because I automatically saw light and dark
Yes we already know celestia, traveler final form, dainsleif, abyssal twin and maybe pierro
I really hope they make this a major thing and not just a gimmick.

Dainsleif is CONFIRMED to be playable, they confirmed it a long time ago before release. He will definitely have a new element.
