I have a 2001 zx6r it's carb fed any suggestions to get the max power out of it it's has a 14t front and a 40t rear sprocket and it has factory headers but a 8 " slip on rs-3 Yoshimura exhaust
At the drag strip the best modifications you can make to get your bike faster is learn how to ride without traction control and improving your reaction times will help you win races.
PS I hate nannying on bikes. One of the reasons I chose mine was lots of power but not nooner happy. Saw a tip for familiarity with a new high powered bike. Keep it in the highest gear that doesn’t lug, and resist the temptation to bang a speed downshift & twist it. Should keep me alive in my personal quest to run at least in the low tens and mid 130s. The love of my life encouraged me to do something I had always wanted to be able to do. Didn’t bat at an eye when I said I wanted a street drag bike that runs like a proverbial striped ape. What is the best circuit for racing normal breathing, normal tire and frame quick bikes? Bracket racing feels like participation trophies to me. I guess I’m a grudge racer at heart. Head to head, May the better builder & rider win. Old school is the gold school. Sort of the motorcycle equals of show-and-go hotrodding. Running a fast quarter is the most fun you can legally have in public. I was racing wagons at 4, Schwinn 1/40th mile drags (my invention) at 12. And I want to set a single digit time just because I believe I can do it. On a family friendly budget. The whole project has un-aged me at least a decade in six months. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Looking for sources for parts and fairings for Hinckley triples. Any suggestions? Any idea about fitting a Dunstall Dolphin fairing on a custom cafe racer style 92 Daytona? Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart, FCR. Talking with Matt was very interesting & informative. Literally memory of a lifetime and a great addition to my personal drag bike knowledge quest.
Already did the Baione exhaust system and K&N filter on my Yamaha custom 650 and the next step is re-jetting the carbs and balancing them. Not sure how much more power I’ve achieved until I Dyno test it.
I changed the whole airbox dna stage 3 with a powercommander and now going with the big bore and piston change also exhaust system is needed. My XT660 will be a beast !
DJPV3 does raise the rpms, and everything that a regular tune with regular parts does - with over 40 combinations plus the ability to adjust for optimum tune personally.
Two reasons I look at any performance mods are the sound, and the throttle response. I don't enjoy riding bikes that sound like sewing machines and I can't stand snatchy throttles. Outside of that, there isn't a single bike that I would buy that I would be able to max out. So I personally don't really have a need to make the bike do "more". I'm all about smooth and loud lol
Power commanders blow. Ecu flashes are cheaper, usually, and way better. A remote tune is the most accurate way to tune, though. It uses real world situations and varying loads to fine tune things in a way a pc, flash, or even a dyno can’t.
Best mod to make the bike faster and increase mpg.... Eat better and exercise. Fit riders allow the bike to spend more time doing what it's meant to do and less time lugging extra weight. This is coming from a formerly round cruiser rider that had to lose weight for his small naked to accelerate as it should. Sometimes... We need to look at modding the rider before modding the bike. If you are already a fit rider... TURBO, "race" tires, and an eBay exhaust are all you need to turn your bike into a warp speed capable starship. Those upgrades are the bare minimum since, understandably so, you've already completely maxed out the potential of your bike on your daily commute to the store and work......
Done everything but turbo for the Buells, the MT09 just needed a tune and tire/suspension adjustment to be fun in the twisties. Always depends on the bike. But then you put aftermarket exhausts on 200+ hp bikes to make them a well of hearing loss - lol - so what I know?
Hey yammie god..i have been watching for just under a year and I love the content... quick question. I just put a full exhaust on my bike and just placed in a k and n high flow... Did u say power commander tune is good enough.? Or definitely go for the flash? No other mods. Yamaha r7
Caution on aftermarket air filters. I heard mechanics say that they allow more air they also allow more dirt/unwanted particles into your engine. “I heard” typically is never a statement equates to mean hard science but it kinda sense🤷🏽♂️
It's true. More carbon buildup with same period of time. Plus oil from filter can clog emissions system pre maturely. Just buy the best disposable units available and preserve engine longevity.
You speak my language. My used liter triple Triumph comes with number one. I flirted with the schoolgirls. I’m a little schoolboy too. - Johnny Winter Bop til you drop, Yam. There’s a place for you in the fast lane of life. One tuner advantage is correcting air-fuel ratio when mods change it. Don’t believe a flash can handle altered air and/or fuel rates. Right?
I am taking lessons to get my motorcycle license here in The Netherland. When I have it I will buy a Ninja 650, and as a beginner NO, I will not make it go faster.
Depending on how many miles you''re planing to do....a full exhaust and a tune might be enough for the average squid (as i lost 20 lbs off my bike with that) and gained some worthwhile HPs..... But damns, touring with a raging screamer is not a good choise....for the ears that is.
It is also suggested that you learn to eat two meals a day, collect Rainwater, run to work, and find tax loopholes so that you can afford all of these modifications
I’m the dad, dammit! And I watch too many videos like this too. 😊😎 Turbos kill the sleeper factor. And fast 600cc -> liter big bore move by moving from a very built 600 Norton Dominator to my new 955i. With a full stage one and only 12k miles. One thing I’m sure of. It won’t feel like a step backwards. Because I still can.
I just got new 50 cc mondial mx-4. Couldn't find anything about it on the internet, pretty much non existent. No one also talks about sub 100 cc bikes anywhere. I wonder what upgrades you did? I want to upgrade it after the first few thousand kms.
I went with an '85 BMW K100RS, maybe not the best first bike but it worked for me, had enough power and speed but wasn't insanely fast, no ABS which I did prefer. It's all about what you're looking for and what you'll be comfortable with
Over 40 years on bikes.... Best Mods to make your motorcycle faster: 1) Rider training 2) Practice and experience 3) Buy a faster bike. Aftermarket parts are pretty uniformly a waste of good money. I wish I had all the money I wasted on them before I learned that lesson.
stock bikes are the best that last sell higher and don't fall apart/die on the side of the road some mod are ok most is for you to WAST YOUR $$$$$$ if you want to ....... lol
they make a pretty nice turbo kit for R7s. quick search on youtube would pop it up. ended up at somewhere around 112 hp on it which gets you in liter bike territory for cheaper.

Two words for a faster bike: flame stickers...
A “remove before flight” keychain helps too
Everyone knows flame stickers add another 15 bhp
Jokes on you my gpx 250 come with flames from factory 😎
K&N and yoshi stickers add 10 hp apiece as well.
Paint it red! The red ones always go faster!

Traction control? What even is that?

The fastest bike I ever owned had spoked wheels and a playing card.

Yayyyy!!! I was looking for this after I got the notification yesterday and couldn't find it
The Ninja 650 is perfect!!! No turbo needed! 😂
Side note: I own one. Great for around town riding.
I just had soooo much deja vu
I feel like I just saw this vid

These are the types of videos i've been waiting for
0:41 Happy to see our most common bikes Boda boda 😂😂Uganda
Predator helmet!!! Nuff said
Yo, there's some shaft-driven BMW K-bikes like the '07 K1200's, K1300's that do sub-3 secs 0-60 and can hit 175mph no problem.
Done everything but turbo for the Buells, the MT09 just needed a tune and tire/suspension adjustment to be fun in the twisties. Always depends on the bike. But then you put aftermarket exhausts on 200+ hp bikes to make them a well of hearing loss - lol - so what I know?
Watching this video while having a 110 CC Hero Splendor 😂
Intro is so good 🤧😂😂😂❤️✌️
Never realised yammy was also a donut media fan (moh powa babyyy)
I like motorcycles. They're exciting!👍🏽✌🏽
Love your videos man.. All of them always have very useful info :). Have a good day/night and year/month week D:
I really got called out on the Ninja 650 turbo comment. I have serious consideration on it just because why not. Street squid touring.

They make a turbo for Harley sportsters. However, it's just as expensive as the whole bike. So I can't quite afford it 😅
It is also suggested that you learn to eat two meals a day, collect Rainwater, run to work, and find tax loopholes so that you can afford all of these modifications
Thankyou!!
big bore kit install video? (oon yzf 125)
You want a faster bike? Sell your bike and get you a faster one! Simple, effective and most times much cheaper than mod your lame crutch.
I’m the dad, dammit! And I watch too many videos like this too. 😊😎

Because I still can.
yammie sounds like he drank 10x espresso before filming this video .
I was not too chicken to turbo my 650 Ninja.
I still hated it. 99WHP and slower (albeit barely) than my stock '94 FZR600.
I actually modded a 70cc Chinese bike at stock it was goving 80kph(49mph) and after it gives 155kph not going to mention mph😐
I just got new 50 cc mondial mx-4. Couldn't find anything about it on the internet, pretty much non existent. No one also talks about sub 100 cc bikes anywhere. I wonder what upgrades you did? I want to upgrade it after the first few thousand kms.
Spending 1,000+ dollars for a 2% power gain on a bike you couldn't max out it's full potential before the mods. 😂
For some it's about working on the bike rather than riding it 😂
But.. Gotta go fast bro. Stock bike is too slow. Needed to up the power because I was already riding beyond what the bike could do....🤣🤣🤣🤣
Would any of these work on the m109r boulevard?
Ecu flashed is a great mod imo.
Can you flash a Ecu with a power commander?
what about turbo r1?
How would anyone recommend making a 250cc engine hit 100 mph?
Get a 600
I will be doing all to my grom
Didn't I watch this on Friday?
Large engine with little gains.... nah only 2 words sums this video up.....turbo busa
dose anyone know who will do an ecu flash for me? i have a 1982 xj650. thank you
repost? I don't mind
The audio was total trash on the other.
Too chicken to put a turbo on a ninja 650? I’ll be back..
Day #4 of asking Yammie Noob to make scooter content
Lots & lots of carbon fiber😂 and if you got a Busa, throw 2 turbos & a supercharger on it 🏍️💨
Hey do y’all know the best first motorcycle to get
I went with an '85 BMW K100RS, maybe not the best first bike but it worked for me, had enough power and speed but wasn't insanely fast, no ABS which I did prefer. It's all about what you're looking for and what you'll be comfortable with
any entry level naked or sport bike
Nice
gsxr nation❤
How can I turbo my 250
Better brakes don't make you stop faster. Better tires will actually make you stop faster.
*bigger brake calipers won't make you stop faster.
This coming from the same guy who made a video claiming that 600cc or more is meant for track only and is too fast for anyone to handle😂😅😂😅😂
Wait you already did this video
fast faster fastest (deja vu)
#1 best mod? Replace your bike with XSR900
@MrBeast be that random person lol
Oh if suspension makes your bike handle better, why don't we see it on your turbo busa?? Check mate, mate
#1 should be GEARING...
Someone please help me to make my benelli imperiale 400 faster 😢
Slow boys trna get fast 😂😂
Thick boi vs fast boi
Learn how to ride. That’s the best “mod” to make you faster.
Find a way to make more money. Get a faster bike.
You forget weight reduction
Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy 😊i have been earning $33,000 returns from my $10,000 investment every 12 days
I agree with you
Over 40 years on bikes.... Best Mods to make your motorcycle faster: 1) Rider training 2) Practice and experience 3) Buy a faster bike. Aftermarket parts are pretty uniformly a waste of good money. I wish I had all the money I wasted on them before I learned that lesson.

they make a pretty nice turbo kit for R7s. quick search on youtube would pop it up. ended up at somewhere around 112 hp on it which gets you in liter bike territory for cheaper.
>112hp
>Liter bike territory
That was the best laugh I've had in a while.
Liter bike territory in 1980, maybe.
No liter bike today makes under 180, unless you count Harley.
