A tail tidy is actually a mod I regret. Don't get me wrong the bike looks a LOT better compared to stock fender. BUT, now my back gets soaked with splash from my rear wheel due to a wet road.
why don't more bike, aside from cruisers etc, come with the rear mud guard. I have always thought that those looked so much better than the long ass tail hanging off the bike.
Corbin seat, V-Stream tall windshield and engine guards on my FJR1300 and premium tires as needed. Cruise control, heated grips and electronic suspension all standard. Good for long days on the road in all weather conditions except snow. Bike is stored for the winter here in Northern Ontario Canada.

Thanks Yammie, I took your advice and swapped my Ninja 300 throttle tube for a yamaha R6r Throttle tube. Now pinning the throttle for max acceleration is easy.
Uammie noob!! I lost your videos I used to be really into bikes as a kid grew up life kinda happened and yet I still kept that dream I'm glad to still have these videos to go back to 🔥🔥🔥
Best mods acc to me (for anyone with a daily) : 1. Any quality riding gear (helmet>jacket>boots>gloves and pants) 2. Any quality protection for your bike as mentioned above. 3. Storage (ik it looks ridiculous but I assure you its a comfort well worth) 4. Everything else that makes you happy (but not the one that impede functionality from factory ... Looking at you tinted squids)
I got a backrest for my INT 650 and it's been one of the single best mods I've ever done on a motorcycle and it makes it perfect for daily driving with my wife (it also has a rack so it can do grocery duty).
@5:51... I definitely like the idea of shorter throttle throw / wrist turn when going for yeet! That said there is another problem this could create. Jerky off on throttle response. Something riders can have difficulty with is smooth off to on throttle transitions. For example when throttling out of a corner after hitting that apex. Some bikes have very twitchy initial throttle even with stock throttle tubes. I've had two bikes in the past with that problem. It was a deciding factor in me getting rid of that bike. The problem with a longer throw throttle tube is this problem is amplified. What would be awesome to see is a longer throw tube with a progressive design. BMW did something like that with their throttle cable operated cars a while back. Would have been nice to see this tried on motorcycles as well. For those who are curious those two motorcycle models were the 1998 Suzuki TL1000S and 2007 Honda ST1300.
Bought my first motorcycle this past weekend, CBR650F. Guess you just talked me into getting frame sliders and I didn't even know case savers were a thing. Might put new tires on it since I don't know how old the ones that are on it are. Definitely getting a touring windscreen on it.
Yeah definitely get frame sliders, trust me you will use them. And get a quad lock phone mount. You pay for them but they are amazing my motorcycle has one and I love it. Great if you don’t know where you are then you pretty much have a GPS in front of you on your phone
Panigale V2 owners beware: the R&G frame sliders don't work on this bike. The clip-ons, mirrors and shifter or rear brake lever will take one for the team before the sliders in a zero MPH drop. Don't ask how I know. Moreover, they're a big install. However, they look good and may help in a real slide. But then, That's what insurance is for.
The steel braided brake lines are not just for Squiding around. I have two Suzuki Intruder VL1500's. One has braided lines, the other one has the originals. The difference is HUGE. I dare to go a lot faster on the one with braided lines. just saying... Wind protection are probably awesome for someone at normal hight. I'm 6'8" and I hate all windscreeen because when they keep other riders free from wind, they always hit me in the middle of the helmet and it's aweful. Tires - YES, as good as you possibly can get!
I’m jealous, here in Spain many of the mods?.ie:- exhaust, with or without headers. Tail tidy. In fact just about anything that’s not homologated will incur the wrath of a lTV inspection. MOT in UK…sure you can remove the items when the inspection is due but it’s a Pain in the Arse just the same
Careful with extended swingarms, if someone actually does it. The manufacturer's engineers calculate loads in the rear suspension linkage bearings and pick appropriate bearings for the load. If you extend your swingarm, you increase the load on the bearings and will wear them out in no time if you go over their rated capacity.
Gloves designed for riding in the rain keep my hands warm down into the upper 40's and are usable at temps as high as 70 as long as the sun isn't shining.
Sometimes, adding a windshield or fairing doesn't keep the wind off of you. It just jets the air right into your helmet and makes it loud even with earplugs. Also, avoid sport helmets unless you're leaned in the crotch rocket crouch. The cut of the helmet will let a lot of air in under the chin. Get a sport touring lid if you ride in a more relaxed posture. Learn from my mistakes.
Only mod I made to my bike (and previous) are crash bars. In my early bikes I would put effort in seeking power and noise. Now... meh. At 25 years old I am now an old man with my sport tourer.
Looking for advice! I’m buying my second motorcycle after starting in a vitpilen 401 and found a 2003 Daytona 600 that looks to be in good shape and is relatively affordable. Only thing is I don’t know much about them. What should I look out for? I’m going to see it next week. Thanks!
I'm researching for mid-range (600cc to 900cc) naked bikes that I will also use for touring in summer (around 4 to 5 hours tours). I am considering the trident 660 as I love its rounded classic looks (the competition has that "transformers" looks that I cannot digest), but is it good for touring? Also the Rebel 1100 (I know, not a naked but apparently a good commuter bike) but I am conscious about its performance for the price.
What would be the best naked-ish bike for touring? Thanks guys.
Hey biking community, I’m new to this but if I’m 6’0 240lbs is a Yamaha R3 for me? It’s what I’ve been eyeing but I’d like to get another opinion! Thanks
Your obsession with hating underglow is mad weird bro. Yeah pulsating, breathing, or strobe effects are obnoxious and should be illegal everywhere, but a solid white or light blue to let 4wheelers know you’re there at night is purely a net positive. Of course, I’ve also never been sent flying thru the air because I was in the wrong lane on a blind corner, so I can see how we might think differently 😂
I saw it work the other night, I'm a new rider so I'm really focused on traffic, so I was driving my car up to an intersection at night, and thought is that a bike waiting at the light, it's dark and dim...then I saw his visor reflecting as he looked back, saw his hand reach up, and boom all his neon clicked on and I could definitely see there was a bike there. I bought my underglow LEDs for my Ninja that night, it proved it to me. Bikes are all but invisible at night even with upgraded factory lights.
@@Christopher-cr7pw I am in the market for a middleweight naked and I am torn between the street triple and the new 790 duke. I have 6 figures in mileage on a bike so they are a little less scary. I dont know if you are in CA, but the R7 looks like it will be a hell of a lane splitter.

Something big is brewing...
A new bike launching on Saturday.
Can you guess what it will be?
If it's for the next giveaway, my guess would be a s1000rr or the m1000rr

A Honda Grom? (lol)
Giveaway bike or new personal bike?

I put a red Mario mushroom on my bike for extra boost. Most important mod yet. Have not lost to a soccer mom yet.
I hope this is true. Ud be even faster if u painted the whole bike like a red mario mushroom lol
@@sabrebaxley3977 this is very true. I’ll do it right away. Thanks for the suggestion.
Might also want to grab a star if you can. It'll help with survivability AND speed.
I put the Super Mario Invincible Star (License Plate Frame) on mine ✨ I hope I don't have to put it to the test \m/
Imagine what Gold Stars could do! ⭐️ 😄

Nice 🤔
A tail tidy is actually a mod I regret. Don't get me wrong the bike looks a LOT better compared to stock fender. BUT, now my back gets soaked with splash from my rear wheel due to a wet road.
Yeah, I live in a rainy area and having no splash guard sucks.
I put mine back on. I got tired of it.
why don't more bike, aside from cruisers etc, come with the rear mud guard. I have always thought that those looked so much better than the long ass tail hanging off the bike.
would a rear tyre hugger (wheelguard) solve that?
@innocuousmerchant8766 I think it would but I don't have personal experience with a wheelguard
I modded my garage door opener right into my control cluster and tucked it under the fairing 👌🏻
A priceless mod for me lol

Be careful with tail tidy, it is illegal to install in many countries (all of EU for example). Stupid laws :(
It's practically illegal everywhere, in all countries. That is: the tail tidy itself is not illegal anywhere. However, there are certain homologation requirements regarding rear light, number plate and indicators' angles of visibility as well as the incidence angle of the plate light to the license plate. I've never seen a tail tidy that is able to meet all of these criteria. (After all, if you design one to meet all criteria you are basically back to the original setup.) However, some countries don't (at least in practice) enforce these regulation on anyone else except the OEM.
