How to freeze cupcakes in bulk

  • If you want to bake cupcakes all together to be used at different times, feel free to freeze them once at room temperature in the cling wrap then put in the air tight container or freezer bag.

    That isn’t freezing in bulk.
    Since the larger cupcake tins have 12 slots…I think people are looking how to conveniently freeze bulk amounts of 12, 24,36, 48….space saving.

      Hi thanks for responding thats a very old video i bake big batches and store them in big ziplock bags. Each bag can hold 1.5 dozens. Will share a video on that soon.

      I worked in bakery for years…all the sheet cakes/cupcakes came in frozen, we had to stock them in the walk-in freezer along with other pastries and breads. We would frost according to orders. All our frostings came pre made in 5 gallon buckets. Inventory was once a month which meant working a double shift to count all the cake supplies/toppers, everything in the freezer. Quite different than small business or home business that don’t have the huge freezers, racks and baking ovens.
