Wonderful. Although I have a question with the process. Why do you have to transform the gene of interest into a bacterial cell? Why can't be polymerized by PCR alone?

may be to get more clones

The plasmid is a vector, so it is used to transport the gene into the host cell. The host cell is then cloned.

the purpose of transoforming the bacteria with vector containing our gene of interest is to see the expression of the gene i.e., we want genes encode for proteins and we analyze those proteins.
