    Awww, Greenville proper is lovely. I’m from L.A. (Koreatown). I fell in love with S.C. My parents and brother relocated there and they love it!! As a Mexican-American I appreciate the diversity and I can see myself moving there after my kids are grown. L.A. has more opportunities and access to culture. Don’t encourage people to move to Greenville 😊

    Thanks. I thought this was a really good video. My wife and I will be looking to downsize in the very near future. We live in a large home in an affluent subdivision in Five Forks. Im ready to find a much smaller and less expensive home away from the traffic and congestion of Woodruff Rd and Five Forks. I took a screen shot of your information. We are from the northeast and very happy with our relocation to SC and specifically to the Upstate/Greenville area. Thanks again for this video. I’m looking forward to checking out your other videos that go into more detail about these other towns surrounding Greenville.

    I'm from NY I'm going to be honest..I live in 1 of those small towns..north of Greenville..just be aware some of these really small towns are not good for families that want their children to have opportunities..or if u enjoy culture and things to do..the towns he is speaking of are nice..but the more north of Greenville u go the more rural it is..85 is the major interstate that connects them all..which can be a dangerous commute as it's been under construction for years..if u want culture, opportunities and things to do stay in the Greenville area..if u like rural, quite and cheaper look into boiling springs, Chesnee and Inman..Chesnee, SC is small, very rural and cheaper but it's directly in between Greenville and Charlotte NC..45 minutes from Greenville and 45 minutes from Charlotte..the homes are cheaper..lots of land and growing quickly..just remember Chesnee and Gaffney do not have the same opportunities and things to do like other towns..

      @orgrichard Год назад +1

      Chesnee, Boiling Springs and Inman are closer to Spartanburg than to Greenville or Charlotte. Boiling Springs is considered a suburb of Spartanburg. There are cultural opportunities in Spartanburg, a philharmonic orchestra, opera company, ballet company, theater, science center, branch of the Children’s Museum of the Upstate, etc. Spartanburg is home to 7 colleges and the SC School for the Deaf and Blind. Inman, Chesnee, Boiling Springs, Landrum and Cowpens each have branches of the Spartanburg library system. There are plans for a first in SC walking trail specifically designed for handicapped people at Lake Blalock between Spartanburg and Chesnee. Spartanburg also has a Revolutionary War Trail, 12 sites in the Spartanburg area that are connected to the Revolutionary War.

    Beware of any sales pitch. This guy must be a realtor wanting you to pay inflated prices. The truth is greenville has not kept up with the influx of people moving here.

      What do you mean by haven't kept up? Too much traffic?

    • @HomesoftheUpstate
      @HomesoftheUpstate  Год назад +1

      That's probably what he's referring to...I'd guess. There are definate traffic congestion spots, like around Woodruff Road (especially Xmas season) and around Pelham and i85 during rush hours. No where near as bad as Charlotte or Atlanta...but not the easy flowing traffic of Greenville 10 years ago.
