As someone who’s starting their journey of nursing school as a new mom finding this made it feel a little more possible! Thank you for sharing all this super helpful advice!
I finished my pre reqs last year at 25 as a new mom, now next week i'm going into my nursing program! Its refreshing to see other moms going into the program as well. Just subscribed & good luck!
I found this video to be very realistic as well. I’ve seen a bunch of these haul videos where it seems like people are spending thousands of dollars on school supplies that I’m sure they don’t even use everything into their program. I too already have a lot of stuff at home that I will be using and won’t be purchasing new. thank you for posting this video because there were a few items in there that I do want to get for my program. Best of luck to you 🎉
Thank you so much for watching and commenting it really helps me out! Congratulations on getting into nursing school! I hope it is going well for you so far. I’m nervous but I am so excited!
So glad I found you! I’m about to start my last semester of pre-reqs. I also have two kids and a husband and I’m a little bit freaking out lol. The bagsmart bag is my fav! I use it for work (I’m a Medical assistant) and it’s been my fav.
Am in the UK will start my nursing next month, am also married with two kids… I am so nervous how will I cope but coming across your video has motivated me…
Congrats on starting you program! Just got into nursing school and start in January! I love that white board calendar, do you by chance remember where you purchased it?
I have the same off brand iPad pencil and it works so well!! So glad I didn’t spend the extra money on the apple one. Love your content! I’m starting PTA school in the fall so I can relate in the aspect of preparing for a program! ❤️
Aww thank you so much! Yes the off brand pencil is the best! I refuse to spend $100 for something when I can get it for $20ish and it doesn’t basically the same thing. Good luck on your program!
@SarahVau23 I've had lots of interaction with nurses. I can tell you will do well in the field, and patients appreciate yout your kind and gentle spirit. ❤️
@@SarahVau23 thank you! I start nursing school in the fall as well and I purchased an iPad for note taking, but I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. I’m hoping the learning curve isn’t too difficult
I start nursing school in August too!! I’m super nervous, but so excited at the same time! We got a lot of the same stuff, so I feel prepared haha. Are you going for your ADN or BSN? Can’t wait to follow your journey :)
Congratulations! I’m going for my ADN at my community college and then I’m going to get my BSN at my four year university. They are partnered with my current college and have a bridge program that’s one year completely online to get my BSN after. Goodluck on your journey!
Pretty sure I had the same Apple Pencil dupe and it stopped working a few months into having it. Ended up buying an Apple Pencil and never looking back.
Mine has worked for over a year now! Crazy maybe reach out to the company and see if they will offer you a refund. I may get an Apple Pencil one day but not yet
So at the moment most of us wait until our professor tells us what we need. The school will show us what’s “required” but sometimes the professors who are actually teaching the course will tell us we don’t need that, and point us in a different direction. Some even end up using free materials. I have a professor that gives us a PDF document to download for intro to pharmacology. And we don’t have to pay for it. Iv had professors require us get the physical text book that also comes with an access code for an online e book or elearning module and we end up only using the online stuff. It really depends on your professor and what they tell you. This semester will be my most expensive text book wise/ebook. I’m looking at $800-$1200 for two classes.

It’s linked under my Amazon supplies list! I absolutely love this bag!
Wow med school! Congratulations
I wanna go to nursing school.
Do most of your classmates choose ebooks for required textbooks or do some use hard copy books. What is the price difference?
