I have trouble completing this spin constructively without the rifle rotating outwards so that the rifle is flat to the ground; does anybody know how to fix this?

It hurts but its not bad once you get used to jamming your finger a lot. Dosent phase me much anymore, i just take a minute long break and get back to spinning.

the easiest way to spin a rifle is just a single left hand spin
On my drill team, we call these butterfly spins. I learned them very quickly
we called it the plane in armed exhibition
We call it double hand

We call it two handed infinity spin here, i have not learned the 2 hand one but I've learned the single handed infinity spin.
