I'm kinda upset and relieved because I learned more from this video than from my instructor. He basically just handed me my rifle and told me to try and do drop spins.
i just picked up a rifle two days ago but now I'm expected to do 50 dropspins by tomorrow so I'm going through and binging all these tutorials 😭 yours has been one of the most helpful thank youu
+BeggerStager That usually happens when you either release too early or your do not build enough momentum for the rifle to "hover" over your hand after the release, there should be no "sliding" when it comes to drop spins. Sorry for the late reply I basically died from youtube world.
+BeggerStager Usually if there is an especially slow tempo consecutives are not the best idea because its hard to make a smooth look and feel to the drop spins. i would suggest either subdividing the counts to the music you are using or not to have the consecutives at all. Otherwise, the only way to adapt to the tempo is to release the rifle with more force going up in order to have the airtime necessary to fit the tempo, but i guarantee that it will take more effort than if you subdivide or change the work altogether
My rifle keeps spinning forwards(Like, the rifle itself doesn't stay in the same plane). Sometimes when I do it fast enough, I can keep it straight and spinning in the same plane.... But often times the rifle spins off the plane, like, it turns outwards or inwards or whatever, making it hard to catch it straight too. Ughgh wth am I doing wrong?
please help me whenever i do spins the rifle's nose starts coming towards my body and idk how to prevent it like i know how to do spins after i do about 5 the nose of the rifle comes towards me

Shaphen Pangburn The counts are a bit slow. So how should I build momentum if my spins are slow.

+Shaphen Pangburn My coach said I need to work on technique first so I should go slow?
If i can only do one what should i work on
