I'm glad this is happening, there's also another delay one coming. We were definitely due for an upgrade. Don't get me wrong, Reeverb 2 is usable but the algorithm is way too old... it's a painfully average "technical" reverb, the mod knob has a barely audible effect, and it's not brooding at all with the decay turned up. I was seriously about to buy an Eventide or a Valhalla (FULLY deserving of the money, let's be clear!) before seeing the forum teasers. Anyways, I remember people asking for a reverb with ducking - and here it is with freeze, pitch shifting, and a size parameter that doesn't reset itself. Now that there also are a vintage phaser and chorus, we just need a spring reverb and we're all set :)
One thing aside from being sonically stunning, is the complete volume control in terms of ducking or following volume curve of the dry sound. Sometimes you want the spaciousness of the reverb without it acting as an additional instrument. Also in order to sidechain your reverbs you have to run a parallel chain in patcher then load a compressor with a sidechain function(super annoying). This gets rid of having to do that.
Awesome!

You can kinda emulate mechanical reverb units by playing around with the size control but yes a dedicated plate/spring reverb would be great!
@@rishabhrajan There are also the spring impulses for Fruity Convolver which might be a little bit better, if not that tweakable.
