    This cleaning/dusting is something that needs to be done several times over the life of a PC. I recommend to get a set of ESD safe brushes and use them to loosen up the dust before blowing it out of your PC with compressed air or w duster. It helps with the stubborn dust that can get stuck in filters, fans, heatsink fins, and nooks and crannies
    I also recommend never to go anywhere near your components with a vacuum cleaner as they can cause static damage

For someone who wanted a prebuilt PC that plays modern games, mine as been awesome. To make your case stay clean for longer, make sure your case fans are setup in a positive pressure configuration to minimize dust buildup in the case. To accomplish this, have more fans drawing air in than exhausting air, and have the intake fans covered with a filter. This way, any places that aren't covered with a filter will be blowing air out rather than sucking air (and thus dust) in. The filters will catch the dust before it has a chance to get into the case. Remove the filters and vacuum them monthly for best results.

      We’ve all sinned guys. We’ve lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, and more. We now need to repent and trust that Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross. This is very urgent tomorrow isn’t promised. Our works can’t save us but Jesus can!

    • @slayridah
      @slayridah 3 года назад +1

      You thought a tech RUclipsrs vid would actually be helpful for the inexperienced? Lol they are all useless and are very mis informative. First of all you never use compressed air and blow moisture into your PC, this can destroy your PC. yes hold fans still, again, this guy didn't say that even though it's VERY important. dont do a motor compressor either as these can build up moisture. Don't wipe with a cloth either as i believe that can build up static as well unless there's a way to ground yourself, i just dont know too much about static electricity.
      Now what i DO recommend is getting a blowing or sucking vacuum that is designed for PC's that don't build up moisture or static. also get some PC cleaning brushes designed not to get static in your pc when brushing if there is any dust the PC safe vacuum won't knock loose. i don't know specific brands but just type those keywords into google and I'm sure you'll find something on Amazon or something for those products. I don't know if there even is another way to clean it without risking damaging the PC!
      Thats all i know so far as I'm still learning myself but I'm more helpful than the RUclipsrs

      @@noscoped7557 mine was completely caked with dust on the front filter (which is plastic and not disposable). I used a clean dry toothbrush and a vacuum with a hose. I tried to brush the dust into the vacuum. Other than that, I found that I had so much dust built up that the can of compressed air did literally nothing. I was too paranoid to take off the fan/heatsink for the CPU so I took toothpicks and dug out the fins one by one. Overall there was much more I could have done, but I was pretty happy with the results, and I was sick of it after 2 hours. But I definitely get much better temps and airflow now that I've cleaned it.
