Tell me if you notice this sometimes: you're scrolling through the comments and see one thread with 4 or 5 or however many replies, yet you can only see 1 or 2 replies. You then find the comment thread again by changing to 'New Comments' and then see the shadowbanned replies, often not even consisting of bad language, just someone daring to disagree. This active comment moderation that targets dissenting views is disgusting.
Nah, 100% edgy stuff is honestly what's needed and needs to stay. If anything, a whole plethora of modern-day Fritz the Cat-esque content needs to flourish under a completely different management and company culture-one that emphasizes heart total freedom of expression that should not and cannot be undermined.

Never got the grasp of the edgy content... Meatcanyon I can certainly appreciate for the animations, although, most of them are "youtube pop memes" in a way, less shocking, more banking on known internet celebrities... Nothing wrong with it, but the formula gets repetitive. Still, interesting to see how those types of contents mostly came and went, good thing I automatically create things that are rather safe as far as content goes, but, these past youtubers certainly give a hint on what not to do in order to stay monetized - as well as which subject it's best to never portray, to avoid a mass youtube move that can wipe out whole genres of content. There's allot to learn from their experiences I'd say.
