Mar Mari Emmanuel says to stop dividing his family? My response is for him to stop dividing mine. Stop driving a subtle and heretical position on the person of Christ. He’s a divine person who assumed human nature. Not a person made by two natures coming together as inferred. He also divides my family by claiming they can break communion by having communion in his heretical sect’s church. No. No Orthodox who loves the Truth should commune of a counterfeit.
What Mar Mari Emmanuel is teaching is that the Logos assumed a new hypostasis, which is Nestorian. He remains the same unchanged divine hyspostasis as He was before the incarnation. He assumed a second nature which doesn’t change Him because He as a person hasn’t and cannot change.
