It is a mix of "Nynorsk" (new norwegian) and dialect. Nynorsk is one of two official Norwegian languages (plus Sami). It is a constructed language. Ivar Aasen traveled around Norway in 1850(about) and collected words from old dialects and made a new (but actually older) language.
