  • In December 2017, The Walt Disney Company first announced plans to purchase 21st Century Fox. Eventually, after all, was said and done, after plenty of legal hurdles spanning many International Commissions and seventy-one point three billion dollars later, on March 20th, 2019, Fox was
And the one thing everyone was talking about that made the fans trust this potential corporate trust issue was the excitement we got thinking of the X-Men in the MCU.

It's the first video, so you know I have to totally, absolutely, 100% intentionally keep the video and audio quality just a tad bit rough, you know. Gotta show growth later on, right? Yep. That's the story.

Mister Sinister being the main villain could also help the movie give Cyclops a character arc, since in the comics Sinister did experiments in Scott when he was an orphan. Since Scott origin is about him losing his family but finding a new one in the X-men, it would make sense for his big moment involve defeat the villain who represent the traumas of his past.

I like the idea if a storyline where they have to fix everything from the splits. Too many movies think they have to keep using the next bigger bad guy. Movie 1, "the world is ending from the biggest threat we've every faced." Movie 2, " the world is ending AGAIN from the new biggest threat we've ever faced." Movie 3, " it's all happening again from the newest biggest threat we ever faced...again...

I mean the thing is, this happens in the comics too and the comics have decades of this habit while staying good. Even if we just count the original Secret Wars or Crisis as the beginning of this trend, we still have far more time of excellent comics with this annoying habit. They even addressed this at one point. In King in Black, there's a line by thor, "I have killed hundreds of you! All of them claimed to be the one true death! The living void! The end!"
This isn't the problem. Hell, people have notably disliked many of the projects that didn't end up doing this. Hawkeye and She Hulk are the best examples of this, but there's also the inverse, of people loving Black Panther, Moon Knight, and Spider-man (I'm not dissing these movies, I loved them too) when they have world ending stakes too.

Bringing in the Shi'ar also provides an opportunity to introduce the Starjammers. They are noted for being led in the comics by Scott Summers' real father Christopher. I do hope that Feige and company decide to not make Havok and Cyclops of different generations rather than being two of the three brothers of the Summers clan. I always liked that tactic they used where Scott would fire his optic blast at Alex to power up his abilities and vice versa.

I thought the whole point of X-Men 97 and the multiverse was to bring mutants and the X-Men into the MCU.
I figured the plan was to simply set up their own story in their own universe, set it in 97, then by the end of it have them yanked out of their universe/timeline with ahem... No Way Home. Then, due to the thousands of mutants with their own factions causing mayhem while trapped on MCU earth, that's how you get your prejudices because they're a minority, the bad mutants are destroying lives, and the good ones can do most jobs better than normal humans, so you can get a good old South Park styled "They took our jobs" thing going on.
Welcome to RUclips by the way. Happy to stumble upon your channel, and I wish you all the best.

I think they would be silly do any reboot other than Moira X. It’s right there for them. The other Xmen movies were her other lives. The mutants are hidden because Charles is hiding them because of Moira’s revelation in her 10th life. This is actually a fresh and new xmen story. They can have phase 5 set up to be emergence of Mutants vs emergence of AI (xmen vs Avengers) - this is actually an interesting philosophical question for the 2020s.
They will almost certainly go with something more simple and boring and the superhero movie will continue to die, I really hope they don’t do the same xmen story and instead use the actual good reboot that is already written for them

I don't remember where I hward this theory, but another idea can be found by looking at how Hickman's Secret Wars handled the final Incursion. In the comics, the final jncursion was between the 616 Marvel Universe and Ultimate Marvel from the 1610 universe. Worlds collide, different spinoff versjons of different points of Marvel history are patched together in a last ditch effort to save all life and create the new Battleworld. Shenanigans ensue, God Emperor Doom is defeated, and a new universe similar to the original hut with some slight alterations to its history and the characters in it takes the place of Battleworld. The MCU version of the story could have an incursion between the prime MCU universe and the Fox X-Men universe (or at least some version of it with a bunch of the characters from older movies we already know) because of Deadpool's time travel funny business on top of everything else messing with the fabric of the multiverse. Avengers: Secret Wars plays out however it plays out, and the new universe that takes the place of the main MCU is a similar reality with slight alterations to its history, namely that mutants have always been around (and whatever changes they want to make). This doesn't create plot holes in the old MCU because this is technically a new, soft rebooted reality with its own slightly different history and slightly different variations of established characters to explore, includimg new and already established MCU vereions of the X-Men with a new cast.
I also want Sinister in Deadpool 3 somehow, because there is literally a Sinkster plotline threaded through almost all of the post-DOFP new timeline movies that will never be resolved unless Deadpool 3 and least acknowledges and gives it some kind of clisure. They could literally just show Deadpool and X-Force stop his genetic experukentation and human trafficking operations at the opening scene of the movie, and that would be enough for me. It was just a really interesting narrative throughline between these newer movies that i would hate to see mever get resolved.

My perfect X-men film series (i mean i loved the original, this is just my version of it)
I'd prefer to start with Krakoa tbh. Not the nation, just an giant monster in the middle of the ocean. They could even do a suicide squad type opening where we start with one team and then they die/get captured like in the comics and then the movie is about a totally different team, considering there's comic precedent for that and then we could start with a proper team of the international heroes like Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, and Thunderbird (forgive me if I forgot anyone from the lineup). I'd also like to throw Jean Grey in because I want to eventually do Phoenix stuff but I don't wanna rush it so I'd like to set her up early
Honestly I'd like movie two to cover Juggernaut, I know he's a pretty big joke currently in the movies but he's insanely cool in the comics, plus he's Xavier's brother and I wanna see that dynamic done interestingly. Maybe he's not the final villain, it could either be him with another villain (I'd be interested to see Sebastian Shaw here), or him with Cytorak as the ultimate villain and doing a brief dr strange crossover to find out how to stop him. I'd like movie two to also cover the opening of the Xavier institute, and getting some kids in at the end to set up some of the younger members of the team like Kate Pryde, Quentin Quire, and maybe Beak from Morrison's New X-Men. I'd also like a moira mctaggart appearance here because I want to eventually do Moira X. Honestly, just assume moira plays a part/is in the background of every movie from here on out
Movie 3, I need magneto in here. I mean, I'd like some setup in the previous two. Maybe Magneto was final villain behind Juggernaut in 2, or maybe Charles went to him for help in 1 after the original xmen were defeated by Krakoa and he refused. Whatever the case, he's been scheming up on Asteroid M, and he has plans to overthrow the government of a small country called Genosha and free their mutant population who they've been rounding up in camps and experimenting on. I'd like if we did a similar thing to the first class trilogy/X2 where while the main X-Men are off at Genosha, the students get attacked and have to fend for themselves, we see Quentin being OP, we see the stepford cuckoos doing their mind control stuff, etc...
So movie 3 ends with Magneto creating the mutant nation of genosha. Movie 4 now will be a DoFP adaptation, more similar to the comics. We see how mutants being experimented on were weaponized by a mysterious figure, unknown for now (but if you've been reading modern comics, mutant powers being weaponized should ring a bell). It's implied that a mixture of Forge (intellectual), Kid Omega (energy blasts), and Darwin (survivability) were combined into robots to make the ultimate killing machine, the Sentinel. I wanted Sentinels to be set up in movie 1, similar to the animated series, but I didn't want to crowd that movie so we're gonna do most of it here.
Anyways, the first act of the movie is basically just gonna be the story of how the Sentinels killed the mutants. This will be the first main MCU crossover, I just kind wanted to let these stand alone for now, but there can be some references here and there, some explanations of how the avengers haven't showed up to deal with this, etc..., but anyways, now in the first 30ish minutes of the movie, we follow a Sentinel's POV as it massacres mutants. We see it diagnose issues, adaptations, mutations, and correct them. As we move through a few side characters, we go to the X-Mansion, and they march through the mansion and start to kill main characters. And finally, they begin to kill main characters of the greater MCU
Now, the original DOFP showed how the sentinels dont just kill mutants. When left unchecked, they ultimately kill reed richards, tony stark, and basically every major being in the world, enhanced or not. So I'd really like to emphasize here how at the beginning, a lot of people, including a few big MCU characters, don't care. They figure that the X-Men can handle their own issues, it doesnt really affect them, it's nothing to worry about, etc.. But then the Sentinels turn on them, and after the first 30 minutes, we're in a full dystopia police state. Then I'm gonna have it be Jean Grey, not Rachel, who sends Kitty back to save everyone, and begin to set up her phoenix powers, with the phoenix force also sending back a piece of itself to awaken the latent phoenix force in past jean grey, they manage to destroy the research on Darwin, making the Sentinels powerful and smart but not adaptable, making them a threat but not world-ending and averting the future.
So I spent way too long on that movie, but moving on:
Movie 5 is Phoenix Saga setup. I think I'm gonna give phoenix 2 movies here, but hopefully some setup before this. Now, 5 is gonna be basically the Phoenix Force awakening, and at first, Xavier sees it as a great thing. he realizes she can fly into space and sense alien life out there, and he just thinks her power is growing and that this is natural for an Omega mutant. They do a space adventure, meet the shi'ar, he falls in love with lilandra, but at the end, Jean is consumed with the Phoenix Force, and destroys the D'bari star system, billions of souls being snuffed out in an instant
Movie 6 is phoenix saga proper, a three way war between Jean, the X-Men, and the Shi'ar, ultimately wrapping up with a confrontation on the moon with Uatu watching, and Jean dying.
Movie 7 is gonna be a transition movie, doing a more self contained Hellfire Club story that I think would be interesting to just give to a passionate writer and director and see what they do with it, so it could really be anything, from a heist, to a horror movie, to an espionage flick, I dont really care. Only important bit is that Scott meets Maddy Pryor at the end and Emma Frost leaves the club to become a teacher on Genosha
Movie 8 deals with the fallout of Maddy Pryor, basically the revelation that an exact clone of Jean Grey exists, ultimately leading to them discovering Mr Sinister and the effect he's had on all of their lives behind the scenes, including especially scott, and also creating the Sentinels (he's the one who was weaponizing mutant powers). It ends with a fight with him where he whips out weaponized versions of all their powers, including a gun of Cyclops Eyeballs, a Colossus shield that materializes out of thin air, and a grenade that makes them fall into the floor and get stuck there, and Sinister gets away
9 is the death of Genosha. Nothing really special, I don't really want to do cassandra nova here, even though I absolutely love her, its just not what I'm feeling for this one, so it's sinister orchestrating it to try to cripple the X-Men and stop their allies. He kills Kitty Pryde's parents and she vows revenge, Emma Frost has unlocked her secondary mutation, Magneto survived and is livid, and maybe a major character was there and died just to give it some weight. This is basically setup so that everybody is ready for a big confrontation with sinister
10: A big confrontation with sinister
Okay, that's as far as I've thought ahead. Some of that could likely be TV shows, but I don't think condensing it would be good, I think that a big thing that the X-Men movies need is to be drawn out. Not every movie needs to be a big villain, or anything like that. Just having these intermediate movies where they're facing lower level villains like Krakoa, Juggernaut, the Hellfire Club, etc... really helps the world feel real and natural, and I think that's an important part of what made the comics so good.
My ultimate plan would be to eventually basically adapt Krakoa 100% faithfully, or as close as movies can get. All the Moira X dealings, all the Sins of Sinister shenanigans, Inferno, maybe even TV shows for some of the best individual series' like Marauders v1, X Factor, and X-Force. But first, before you can do that right, I want them to do some of these other amazing stories justice, and truly flesh them out. Krakoa feels so good because it feels like they truly took the entire X-Men world and condensed it to one island. Everything you know and love from the last 60 years is right here. Something for everyone who has ever picked up a comic.
The movies deserve that same reverence, but that takes time.

I love this idea and the emphasis on Juggernaut in the beginning. Since he's not a mutant, I can't wait to see how they actually use his magical side. Dr Strange even used his Red Bands of Cyttorak spell against Thanos.
But I'm 1000% on board with more Krakoa and Genosha.

What if X-men '97 is the team that comes into the MCU so you don't have to revisit their origin stories or deal with having to wait to introduce the whole mutant universe? What if instead of an incursion, where one or two universes are completely destroyed, there is a convergence where two universes / realities merged into one? This could further explore other life memories, the Mandela Effect, and "you and I remember Budapest very differently." After the convergence, only a few Omega level mutants will "remember" that they've been displaced from their original timeline so Magneto can still have his Holocaust origin and remember it like he was a survivor not that long ago despite most everyone else not remembering the Holocaust in the MCU timeline because it was "way before their time". For example, what if Magneto always existed in the MCU timeline but was never a mutant or Holocaust survivor but the child of a Holocaust survivor and when the two Magnetos merge into one, the dominant mutant gene is the one that defines the character? So to Magneto, the Holocaust was his personal trauma but to the MCU, he only has a personal connection to the Holocaust because he is a child of a Holocaust survivor. But Magneto would have his Holocaust branding on his arm to show he was really at the Holocaust but someone who doesn't realize mutants were displaced and merged into MCU could comment "cool tattoo" not knowing the real significance. Other mutants also existed in the MCU as real name personas until they merged with their alternate reality personas and became Mutants in the MCU as well. By introducing the already established X-Men teams into the MCU, you can also include X-Factor, X-Force, New Mutants, and Generation-X so that everyone can have the X-Men they grew up with. MCU wouldn't have to retell all the stories done before but just revisit them through small flashback scenes or exposition dumps. MCU can even rewrite some of the older MCU movies by inserting mutants in them. Re-release and special edition media alone would generate additional profits. So when your children or grandchildren have only watched Endgame edition where the X-Men fought Thanos alongside the Avengers, you can tell them "you and I remember Endgame very differently." And this way, they can still put out plenty of content for the next 20 years by having a greater variety of characters to focus on instead of just the original X-Men or Avengers. Instead of retelling all the stories, MCU could combine stories like X-Men '97 is doing.

Consider this we cant start with Xavier X man school. I think we need play "Namor" card here. Just like nobody knew about his "Atlantida" existence before Black Panter 2, same go for Mutants. This is why i think Krakoa would be perfect for Mutants enter in MCU.

From human side it was Bolivar Trusk who join SHIELD and with help of Edward Stark (and HYDRA) was working on Sentinel Project. .
After this all mutants start live in complete isolation on Krakoa island (covered from all modern day technologies by mutant powers) with resurrection protocols, etc (this is how our main characters still stay young). Isolation of Krakoa cause a big discussion between Magneto supporters (radicals who want announce about themself to the world in Wakanda style ) and Xavier supporters (pacifist who want keep things as they are because they afraid of War against humanity 2.0). for most part mutants decide to stay out humans buisness (because of cautious and because they still did not forgive racist humans). This is why they did not help against alien invasion (first Avengers movie) or against Thanos (even if Thanos erase half of population, mutants could easily ressurect them)
    .
For now only scout teams (with teleporters like Magik and telepaths like Emma) are allow to travel into outside world (find newborn mutants, teleport them on Krakoa and wipe out memory about their existence). But then big clusterfuck happen (end of phase 6) which destroy Krakoa barrier and return lost memories about mutants to humanity.
