Moody stans are pretty ridiculous. Lindy has been a much better player than Moody has this season. I understand wanting more JK, but are you playing him over Wiggins? Absolutely not. SloMo has been very good as well, which makes it hard to fit more JK in. JK has played the 5th most minutes on the season, and Moody is 8th. These people crying about playing time are idiots.

@Giganticonion Moody has been awful the last several games. If he wants to get minutes and take that starting role from Lindy, he needs to play a lot better.

Hi Jason, can you discuss defensive helping off the corner 3 shooter? The worst case is we constantly see the weak side defender of the corner shooter sag into the key area in "help" even though they almost never help on a drive. The result is the corner shooter gets a pass for the most valuable shot in basketball - a catch and shoot corner three. Why on earth do defensive coaches let a pass go to the corner shooter?
DDV back in a warriors uniform would be awesome, but that's not going to happen. The only reason the Twolves were willing to part with KAT was because they were getting DDV in the package. It would take some serious talent from GSW and a pick or two to convince the wolves to move off of him😂. Highly doubt throwing moody and/or Kuminga plus a first round would persuade them lol.
Jason about the warriors question, i thought they subbed in waters for ball handling, the pelicans were aplying a lot of ball pressure with there long wings. Steph and drey were exhausted and kerr tried pods first with the closing lineup and he wasn't playing well. Then he put moody in the game but we got a couple of turnovers because there wasn't enough handling on the floor so i think kerr just put lindy waters as a release valve for steph and drey to have enough ball handling on the floor.

Hey Jason I gotta question . Hey Jason. Quick question. With the new fit for the lakers in adding Dalton and him breaking out early, Do you see the Lakers making a trade for another bigger defensive role player and maybe moving AR to the bench as more of a 6th man guy? The trade piece would obviously be getting something back for Dlo. Love the show and I know your a Lakers fan so figured it would be a fitting question
Wiggins is the second option on warriors...i think the warriors need another Big kinda like Bogut was in the past...someone who can rebound block shots and pass

I would like to know why channels like this one, which is loosely associated with a main stream media team, seem to ignore how absolutely atrocious Lebrons defense has been over the last 7 years. They will mention Luka or joker or Steph being a liability yet Lebron seems to be off limits.
A lot of the Mavs loss is also because they missed Lively and PJ, their two best athletes and defenders for a bunch of games. Add some clutch calls that didn’t go their way and they are 1-3pts away from being a top 3 team. Mavs have a top 7 offense and defense and the defense would look even better if they didn’t miss so many games with those guys. Those high scoring games from Suns, Denver, Indy and GS was without those dudes.
I think Golden State need Robert Williams that’s the piece great shot blocker rim protector and rebounder and will allow Draymond to roam freely on defense he moves the needle as long as Wiggins playing like he is. Kerr also needs to feature Kuminga when he’s on the court he should have ample plays run through him because he’s becoming a play maker nobody can stop his drive to the basket and everytime they clog the paint he passes to someone wide open!! Idk why Kerr chooses to keep him hovering in the corner smh
I agree with that, but I also agree the Warriors might have some trouble in the playoffs if Steph remains their only reliable shot creator. So even if they don't go for Jimmy, they'd still need some internal development or a different move if they want any margin for error and more than a long shot at the title
@@jazzbassoonpaul Yeah I was trying to say I don't like Jimmy for them, but all the reasons he mentioned as to why they'd need someone like him have validity to them
I’m confused about that Warriors question regarding Moody. Wasn’t Moody a -16 or something the other night? I mean Kuminga can be so so every other game. I think we need more consistency
Him and moody are very inconsistent and the complaints aboutt their playing time is so stupid when theyre literally playing better last game with them sitting. Plus Moody and Kuminga ate still top 8 in overall minutes played in rotation
@@dreyeezy8671 Thing is, they've never gotten consistent minutes and opportunity. So the Warriors didn't use them as assets, didn't develop them, and now are not playing them. It's just odd to draft twice in one lottery and come up with 0 players that even fit your system, than stay on the fence for 4 years with what you actually want to do with them
Wiggins matches better in defending Luka, Jason Tatum and other guards better than anybody, inc Jimmy. Bam is the ideal fit. If not trade Melton & second round pick for Rob Williams. Trade Kuminga, Moody, Kyle Anderson, GP2 & 1 First round pick for Cam Johnson & Dorian Finney Smith. Starting PG-Steph SG-Cam Johnson SF- Wiggins PF-Draymond C-Rob Williams Rotations PG-Pod SG-Hield/Lindy Waters SF-DFS PF-Loon/Tracy C-Loon/Tracy
Jason, Your Warriors trading for Butler without giving up Wiggins doesn’t seem to be possible under my understanding of the CBA. I understand you want us to player imagine the scenario, but for the Warriors to trade for Butler without giving up Steph, Draymond or Wiggins, you’d literally have to give up at least 6 players to match his salary. Removing 6 players and adding one leaves you with 9 players with no room under the salary cap to get to the minimum.
Hypothetically , if Warriors make a trade for a secondary star like Jimmy or BI, would they be your title favorite? I dont think Jerami Grant would push them to title contenders.
Mailbag: Jason, you once said something to the tune of Jayson Tatum becoming one of the best players if not THE best player in the NBA is as good a bet as you can make in all of sports. Do you still feel that way? Obviously, Tatum is and has been ONE of the best for a while now, but what do you think he has to do to be considered THE best? Tough with Jokic around, but even as good as Tatum has been to start this season, I believe we still haven’t seen his peak. What are your thoughts? Appreciate you, love the show.
Doesn’t want to talk about 109 points scored in 24 hours because the guy that did that was ranked way lower than offensive machine that is shooting 37% from the field and 28% from 3
JT admits to his bias, so it’s no shade, but somehow almost every situation/topic will be linked to LeBron or the Lakers in some way. 😂 As a bron Stan, it’s great
To put Luka and Harden in the same breath when saying the reason why they haven’t won a championship is crazy to me. Luka is 25 years old! He’s not even expected to win until now and dude has been to 2 WCF and a Finals. Luka also lost to one of the most overpowered teams in Boston, who are spending more money than anyone in the league. And he did it playing with just he’s only been with for 5 months and a 19 year old rookie center. The Luka hate is crazy. Dude has been to WCF in 2 of last 3 years and lost to the eventual champs in GS and BOS. Dude out here playing with Finney-Smith, Bullock and Dwight Powell as starters and yah expect him to be a champ? To beat a 64 win team on the road with that roster is incredible enough.
@ You’re comparing a 35 vs 25 year old’s career. And Harden going to the Finals as basically a 6th man in 2011-2012 (year 3) while averaging 16pts per game behind Russ and KD is not the same as Luka taking a team to a Finals as the #1 on a team while averaging 34/10/9 for the season.
That's just like saying I got a million dollars. But I forgot where I put it. Butler should not be on a team like with the Warriors. What play off did he actually play in, name one.
Luka and harden Both have a High Usage Rate when is the last time a player won a title while being Top 2 in Usage Rate ? MJ did win like 4 titles leading the NBA in Usage Rate but he is Much Better than Luka and Harden Off Ball and played defense but in today's NBA You can't win a title with Luka/Harden type of style, Kobe Bryant Said it...
I think that’s why the Mavs are trying to lower his usage rate and have him play off the ball more. So far this season his usage rate is lower than it’s ever been in his career
Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green is a recipe for DISASTER..Two strong personalities, especially Draymond on the same team would lead to UNNECESSARY drama.
How does Luka get credit for winning a championship in the future and Tatum has no credit for winning last year? James Harden never won a championship so I don't expect Luka to get one either. In the meantime, Tatum keeps improving and has a great chance to be the Finals MVP this year.
The main issue is “crybabies” are keeping the discourse open. The league is in a really bad spot there just aren’t many players worth talking about. Plenty of talented guys but very few worth watching or discussing let alone routing for.
I don't even think all the 'negative people' are disingenuous. I think lots of people literally deeply care, in their gut, with terrific sensitivity and righteous moralism, whether Jayson Tatum is #7 or #5 on someone's board .... because they just have nothing more important to care about .... like the kinds of things you learn about when you, say, read a book.
Maybe. But there's a way to go about things, and lots of people in these comments don't seem to know it.. At the very least you'd expect them to say something that makes sense, but even that seems to be too much to ask
@@tiredbasketballfan I wasn't excusing anyone, just trying to point out that I think the problem (across the internet) is a bit more complicated than just dismissing those people as bad actors. Jimmy wont be a good fit at all We make stars out of role players A star won't wanna play a role I d take him if I don't have to give up anyone so I m good with what I have
You analysts overthink so much and tend to think these players are all interchangeable- trades are fun to talk about and make great content. Jimmy Butler “an alpha dog” player (with a spotty history of causing team friction) who plays in an opposite system. Prone to injury and undersized BETTER than Wiggs- who’s a homie, developed camaraderie, knows the system, is more vertical, generally more dependable, especially post-family issues. Come on meow.
The only way I believe Luka and mavericks can actually compete in an NBA finals is if Luka magically becomes more athletic and stop being lazy on defense. And he won’t become Alex Curuso over night!
They beat Boston by 38 (3rd largest in history) when the role players just played to their averages. Last night the team (without him) beat the Nuggets at home. I don’t know….it almost sounds like they got better.

Jimmy Butler on the Warriors is the wrong move. His age, game would not help the Warriors more than an inspired Wiggins is doing for the Warriors.
I agree with that, but I also agree the Warriors might have some trouble in the playoffs if Steph remains their only reliable shot creator. So even if they don't go for Jimmy, they'd still need some internal development or a different move if they want any margin for error and more than a long shot at the title
@ Jimmy is pretty washed up. Not the #2 for this current team. Gotta look elsewhere

Jason,
Your Warriors trading for Butler without giving up Wiggins doesn’t seem to be possible under my understanding of the CBA.
Id love Donte Reaves Knecht Bron AD line up
who's guarding kd and luka
Mailbag: Jason, you once said something to the tune of Jayson Tatum becoming one of the best players if not THE best player in the NBA is as good a bet as you can make in all of sports. Do you still feel that way? Obviously, Tatum is and has been ONE of the best for a while now, but what do you think he has to do to be considered THE best? Tough with Jokic around, but even as good as Tatum has been to start this season, I believe we still haven’t seen his peak. What are your thoughts? Appreciate you, love the show.
Malcolm Brogdan would be a solid fit to replace Melton
Doesn’t want to talk about 109 points scored in 24 hours because the guy that did that was ranked way lower than offensive machine that is shooting 37% from the field and 28% from 3
Miles Turner to the Golden State Warriors lol

Why would the warriors waste their time trying to get a Butler? Are you kidding me? What good would he do to a team?
JT admits to his bias, so it’s no shade, but somehow almost every situation/topic will be linked to LeBron or the Lakers in some way. 😂
As a bron Stan, it’s great
To put Luka and Harden in the same breath when saying the reason why they haven’t won a championship is crazy to me.
It’s a good comparison harden won an mvp , went to the nba finals once and appeared in four conference finals
Did you even listen to anything he said after 'Luka and Harden'? Sure doesn't seem like it
You're the best Jason, thanks!
Yes please stop responding to trolls. It was reeling me away from the channel
The Warriors are NOT trading Wiggins for Butler. Just no.
Not as many videos? You've been cranking them out dude. Idk what that guy is smoking
Bam is go good for the Warriors that it would never happen
Wiggs has already helped win one...and Jimmy has not.
Just gonna have to agree to disagree on this one.
They’re not gonna trade for old man Butler
@28:54
From the future: ... yeahhhhhh the Lakers did not end up pulling it out, courtesy of Mr. Wagner lol
"why aren't you posting as often anymore"
- someone with no life
Dude still posts damn near everyday
The main issue is “crybabies” are keeping the discourse open. The league is in a really bad spot there just aren’t many players worth talking about. Plenty of talented guys but very few worth watching or discussing let alone routing for.
Donte Div to Warriors for GP2/Waters
Olynyk to Warriors for Melton and 1st round pick
No
IS JIMMY EVEN A GOOD FIT?
Gabe Vincent has to go right now kan
Trade Herro Robinson Jovic Rozier in a 3 team
Bulls get Herro Duncan Thybulle and Rob Will
Heat get Lavine and Vuc
Blazers get Rozier they need a pg
Their response (at least internally) to his first answer is not "Ha! You caught me!" but "HE'S TRYING TO SILENCE US! HE'S OPPRESSING THE TRUTH SO HE CAN BURN TATUM AT THE STAKE WITH NO OPPOSITION!"
HELL NO TO DS HE ONLY GOOD CUZ HE GETS TOUCHES AND HE ISN’T A SHOOTER AT ALL! Id rather give Quincey a shot in that role.
Jimmy wont be a good fit at all
We make stars out of role players
A star won't wanna play a role
I d take him if I don't have to give up anyone so I m good with what I have
we dont want jimmy warriors fansss give us bam nd we talknnnnnn
You analysts overthink so much and tend to think these players are all interchangeable- trades are fun to talk about and make great content. Jimmy Butler “an alpha dog” player (with a spotty history of causing team friction) who plays in an opposite system. Prone to injury and undersized BETTER than Wiggs- who’s a homie, developed camaraderie, knows the system, is more vertical, generally more dependable, especially post-family issues. Come on meow.
Curry wins that game 5
21:38 wtf was that
Hahahaha
The only way I believe Luka and mavericks can actually compete in an NBA finals is if Luka magically becomes more athletic and stop being lazy on defense. And he won’t become Alex Curuso over night!
They beat Boston by 38 (3rd largest in history) when the role players just played to their averages. Last night the team (without him) beat the Nuggets at home. I don’t know….it almost sounds like they got better.
GIVE ME HOODSHIFINO
Too much warriors content
Warriors just need someone 6’10+.
@sojiFro_0 Why?
@@dwayneacarterBecause they’re still too small and basketball is a lot easier when you have size.
@@SojiFro_0 Too small for what? They are 2nd in rebounding. 7th in blocks. 4th in Def rating. 2nd in Opp Fast Break Pts. 11th in Point in Paint. 12th in Opp Point in Paint. Again I ask, too small for what?
@ Too small to win a series against a bigger team. Too small to win a championship.
@@SojiFro_0 Which bigger teams? How do you know they can't win a Chip? Those are just words with no facts or stats. Same was said in '22. Just your uninformed opinion that parrots what others say. Think for yourself dude.
Jason still to this day shows Tatum no respect the disrespect is crazy
Luka aint ever winning it all
He s not in shape the league is catching up to his moves he whines to the refs too much
Lob play is exposed
Shooting down across the board
I dont believe him
The pace of game is too fast for them
They wont get the finals ever again
