I have a 26 inch bike with 22 tooth rear gear and 44 tooth on the front it is too hard to peddle thinking of putting a 36 tooth on front or should i go smaller?

What is the best sprockets for a one piece crank ? Or the sprockets can be used for both the one piece and a three piece?
You could use the sprockets for both.

I think its easier with a smaller front chain ring.
no need to go smaller pal that my problem got a 40T/9T and omg cant pedal it lol
A bigger chain ring makes it harder to pedal but you go faster and further with each pedal.
