This is the first I've seen/heard Donnys music/videos. Yes, I was immediately drawn to the whole 80's vibe. Am I correct in my assumption that his music and videos are sometimes somewhat satirical sort of like flight of the concords? Either way very cool. Yes, I actually dressed with that miami vice pastel outfits back in the 80's.
Hm there's a chance you're right - maybe it's more a case of creating something new with 80s elements than a satire or even a pastiche of those elements, you know? I mean, I don't even think it sounds like it was made in the 80s, it sounds like it was made now 😅
But there's definitely something not serious going on, which means Donny is always going to be a perfect guest for our show 🍯
