No new figure, regardless of price, should be snapping. Its cheaper plastic quality for maximum profit. Imagine being a kid and your new figure breaks when you take it out😢
I 100% agree. I don’t make the toys. We sell them. This was to prove with the process we are being told this is how to properly break them in…. I personally would never buy a toy I have to constantly heat up.
@@eterniadreams love your store and your videos cant wait to visit. The bummer is that line of figures look so cool. They may just need better quality control.
@@STILuVa fwiw, it's not the entire line, it's that specific wave that some people have had problems with. but other people haven't had any issues at all. like most times, the loudest voices in the crowd are the ones that usually get heard first. i've had plenty of legions, even some from the wave Thraice is from, and haven't had any issues yet. i also don't treat these like toys tho, at $50 a pop they are collectibles. so if i need to go easy and loosen up joints (heating just for good measure) before i do some posing or popping & swapping, i have no issues doing that.
Was just in on Friday and picked up a 8" Green Ranger and Dragon Zord, "for my daughter". You guys have the best organized store, and selection in the area. We all had a blast on Friday visiting your store. Looking forward to getting the Turtles of Greyskull line.
Wouldn't touch those figures with a ten foot pole. Maybe the manufacturer should team up with a heat gun manufacturer and give u a coupon for one in figure package
I get that these are collectibles more than they are play-with toys, but you'd think for the price they (the manufacturers) are charging that they would work on the quality and make them easy to pose. I think I"d def keep these in box if they break that easy.
Solid video, but a brand new figure should not need this type of treatment. It's crazy to see what people have to go through to convince themselves that these are great figures. They look amazing, but the QC issues are plentiful.
They really are not I have personally opened over 1000 for display or for customs and maybe 6-8 had an issue. The core feature of the line is part swapping with that comes the downside of having to heat. This video is way over the top for what’s needed
As a massive collector myself the point was to prove they won’t break if done right. So if over the top for 3 mins saves my 50 and up figure I’ll do it every day
The thing about heating figures up, ok if this was the first wave I’d let it slide since there was probably some communication issues. But this line has been around for 10 years. They should’ve worked past these issues by now. This isn’t amateurs either. I’ve seen toy companies hit and work past issues like this fairly quickly the past few years. I have to wonder why 4H isn’t trying to improve especially at the prices they demand. I still have a few but wow man, they should be doing better. Point is ok, first couple of waves and we know the issue and it breaks then yes the fault is the buyer. A decade later with no signs to attempt to improve is the fault in f the company.
Have been following the Eternia dreams from the old Facebook days where Allan used to drive to people's homes to collect money. Have the greatest respect and what a accomplishment to what you guys have achieved. That being said the quality of the videos are going backwards. The new font looks like Arial, the red doesn't work apposed to the white or red. The uplifting feeling of the old intro from around the first episodes set a great mood when the episodes started. Grab a DSLR or budget cinema cam and move away from what feels like cellphone footage. The lower third doesn't fit at all and lacks the Eternia Dreams branding. Allans personality drives the episode and great to see a how to episode but showing a couple of stand out mythic legion figures at the end of the episode would not hurt. Where the music comes from text feels cheap and the contact info at the end could just be a line from Allan at the end of where you guys are located and how someone could get hold of you. Just the music with text at the end doesn't make me excited for next week's episode. Hope this helps and wishing you guys all the best.
In the old videos, people had no idea how to contact us. Multiple people have told us that so we made this change so people can contact us for items they see in the video.
As a seller I found it easier to do this then to explain to so many why there having issues. Trust me at the price point they should be solid but I don’t make them we just sell them
Whoever is doing the audio the microphone is constantly picking up someone heartbeat. Either camera person or person where mic. Note for future. Maybe look into that. it's a constant ticking
I have onecmythic legion figure ( lord bushotee and him jist standing on my desk for a month or so his legs became loose and the pauldrons do not fit into the holesthey ar to large and need to be trimmed) i was pretty disappointed.
Wow. This is ridiculous. You shouldn’t have to do this just to use the figure as it is intended to be used. Would never buy something so poorly designed.
So, so glad I never got into this line. Poor guys I know have spent thousands on these things. This is why I only collect vintage. Just like older cars, older toys built to last.
the toy collecting scene is so much different in USA, enjoying watching the content and seeing all the different stores and you guys meet up at conventions. We used to have a nice store locally here where I live in Canada, but it closed during the pandemic ( I think I mentioned that before) . I also have mixed feels about having to warm a figure to use and pose it, that really shouldn't happen. But again you are not supposed to open them I guess.
I just use a pot of warm water on all my figures. From Black series to Classified to ML to Neca. The Action Force fans will tell you heating was something smart to do for the vests and web gear.
Four horsemen studios, so the coolest people I’ve ever made. These figures are made for articulation they’re made of a pose. I’ve never hated mine mythical agent ever. Are the famous articulated icons. That always broke. None of mine ever broke what I do. I use the pressure I press into the joint right near where the joint goes into the body I just keep pressing in. I do that for every joint. Hermetically agents I’ve never had a problem straight out of the box never heated mine. I’ve never done the press joint thing that I was just talking about for articulator icons but I do not have this newest wave opened. Spellcheck sucks
Anyone who collects mythics 100% understand the process needed to keep the figures posable. There are actual warning papers that come with the figures now that mentions heating or hot water before moving joints

100% agree. This guy's rediculous.

Nope, that’s the manufacturer’s responsibility, not user error. The manufacturer’s Quality Control allowed the material flaws to go to market.
I'm super stoked for that new mythic legion's bucket and heat gun set
Hahahah that would be hilarious
Any toy you have to boil and then use a heat gun on is bad
They cost way too much to have to do all of that after you open them.

Just the fact that this video had to be made makes me not want this line at all.
I wonder why the company finds it hard to make smooth joints that aren't prone to breaking?
You've got a point. Figures from the 70s like Fisher-Price Adventure People don't break -- and they're around 50 years old!

Fantastic stuff as always Allan✌🏼
I'm really jealous of your toy shops where you can get such great figures. Here in Germany there are hardly any action figures in the shops
If you put them in a ziploc bag before the dunk you can skip the drying it-off step 😉
I don't know if this video was supposed to help ease people's minds... But it definitely turned me away from ever buying any mythic legion fig

Thanks for the info, but boy is that excessive to play with a 40-50 toy. You have to wonder how McFarlane does it and maintain that Price point

What’s your favorite mythics figure
Bryophytus is pretty dope! I’m a sucker for flocked action figures… The Ice Troll, and Shadow Equaddron are also pretty bad ass.
Tharnogg is my favorite! I've found so many awesome characters in your store. Thank you for carrying these and introducing me to the line 😊
Awesome video!
