This vid just came up in my feed (not subscriptions but general). Regarding your boredom with the line, I guess wait until the Mythic Legions video game comes out.

You are speaking truth. Some people get blinded by loyalty for some reason, but it’s to their own detriment. I have a couple Mythic Legions, the gladiator stylized ones, that’s pretty much where my interest ends with them. The ones I have are wonderfully detailed but I do question the price points and the joints worry me some. So I completely agree with everything you said in this video. 💯

I got a couple of more I’m going to get later. Leaning to monsters etc. not the huge ones. They’re a bit much most cases. It’s here and there. Not as much the slippery slope people claim. Just looking for sources of things I can’t get otherwise. I am hoping savage crucible does an orc centric wave soon. The piranha abd lizard waves look awesome.

Oh and I have to admit I sometimes wonder am I doing the same for Action force because I tend to defend Valaverse.
I don’t think so, I tend to believe Vala gets a ton of undeserved crap for his outspoken nature. At the same time he drops a lot of truth bombs that are needed.

Wierd thing is some online aproved retailers wanted to sell mythic legions for cheaper than 50-60 bucks. I remember one retailer offered free shipping and had pre orders set at the same exact price of 4h. I was able to pre order a figure from him. This was back in Siege of Bjorngar wave. The retailer got in trouble later on and was forced to set his prices the same as other retailers at the 60 dollar price point. Also another instance Big Bad toy store had a sale and put the moss man tribute figure for like 30 bucks. A collector posted a link to the sale at the cabal. A certain somone who has glasses and who works for 4H saw it and immediately had a talking to with bbts and bbts got in trouble and was forced to get rid of the sale immediately and put the moss man mythic figure back at 60 bucks. Sadly retailers are not allowed to put mythic legions cheaper than the price 4H sets for them. There are only small loopholes like if a online retailer has a sale on the entire store but other than that 4h is extremely strict with retailers and they monitor posts on the cabal like a hawk making sure retailers don't sell them for cheap. Also about their customer service in my years od buying from 4h they generally do replace parts, but lately they take for ever to get back with you. I am still waiting for a replacement for my poxxus wave figures and I think it's almost been 2 months. I asked them about it and they said they would replace the parts but they will do it when they have time..here I am weeks later still waiting.

I had no idea on the retailer thing. That’s crazy to basically bully retailers into not putting product on sale. It’s called MSRP with the S meaning “Suggested” doesn’t mean the retailer has to sell it.
So with knowing that I wonder if 4H has a hand in actively squashing any decent one opinions too. It would stand to reason cause I’ve only found one negative on RUclips from a guy “looking for clicks.”

@@robertsinfiniterealms1308 Yea they put some strict rules for people who become approved retailers. From what i heard one reason is because 4H does not want other retailers to sell the products cheaper and other retailers who cannot sell cheaper might lose sales to others who offer the legions cheaper. There is one loop hole if a approved retailer has a entire site wide sale, but that's about it, but 4H sets the price and retailers are required to sell it at the price 4H says otherwise they risk getting booted from being a approved retailer. Its just a little bizarre to me how strict they are with the approved retailers and how they dictate how the retailers sell the mythic legions. Some times 4h will allow a sale like a black Friday sale for retailers but only a certain period of time to participate in and that's they only time they were permitted to put legions directly on sale. 4H monitors the cabal like a hawk for those posts where people find legions on sale and it immediately gets dealt with. Also if there is any criticism on the cabal, lots of times members will gaslight and ridicule the person making the criticism, lots of times the posts get shut down and deleted immediately. i saw it happen especially with that big controversy with the hooded templar horse that was scraped at the last minute and replaced with the armor pieces. People were upset because they liked the original design and i seen the members cause the people who liked the origal as being racists and that 4H made the best choice. The people complaining were label as pansies, cry babies and were ridiculed, lots of the posts complaining about 4H's decision were also removed and deleted. Also a random note nobody on the cabal is allowed to criticize Megaoplois toys/ premium DNA or talk about that controversy or they will get silenced as well.

@nathanilsaenz8178 Interesting the aren’t allowed to talk about megalopolis. I mean this is one of the reasons I avoid many FB groups. I get enough of that crap on RUclips 😂😂

@robertsinfiniterealms1308 the thing is back when megaoplis was going to become a distributor for 4H and handle the shipping around the the siege of bjorngar wave, which megaoplis shipped to fans directly without any issues, a time later 4h and megaoplis parted ways, fans started to critisize later when megaoplis defunct criticisize due to what happened with the drama of ppl losing money to megaoplis which wasn't related to 4h.but 4H defended megaoplis and any bad posts were taken down due to 4h and megaoplis parting on good terms. One of the Westovers is also good friends with Walter the creator of the cabal so anything bad mentioned on megaoplis is forbidden lol. I remember somone in the cabal warning ppl not to support premium DNA it was unrelated to mythic legions but just from a member who got ripped off by megaoplis warning ppl that premium DNA was the same ppl. But the thread got locked and deleted.

Agree with what you said. They can't criticize megalopolis because Ben Westover (original co owner)is a member on there that comments frequently even with alot of people that he ripped off being on there. My guess to why is that megalopolis had an exclusive deal with four horsemen as exclusive distributor.

Pretty spot on on your critiques. The legion builder line feels odd to me anymore. They feel overpriced and unneeded when the four horsemen release builder style figures that are fully painted for five bucks more. People always bring up the preorder window to get figures at a cheaper price, but they never factor in the overpriced shipping methods that the four horsemen use so unless you are buying in bulk you are not going to save much money and also be ok with giving a company money and wait for years to get the product.

I’ve never done the pre order with them, but looking back on the sale they had I did think the shipping was high especially in light of the long wait and also once I got the notice the shipment moved very slow too (which made me think they went for the cheaper, slower shipping).
Just so much I don’t get about this company.

Hiya, TR, we do action figure reviews as well, although, we try to make it more of a silly, comedic experience. Please come by, I suspect you’d like some of our videos. That being said, There are a number of figures and figure lines whose quality doesn’t rationalize its price point. Marvel Legends are watered down to the point of being the Crayola 64 of figure sets, Star Wars the Black Series went from special to 1 accessory garbage, and Masters of the Universe are in their 15th iteration. NECA, DST, 4H are, i think a s much a push between quality and price as you can get (though with every line there are repaints, kit bashes, and other fillers) but compare them to Storm Collectibles, some of the new Hiya toys, and of course Hot Toys, they’re not that outlandish.

Who’s TR? One thing you said imports make the domestic not seem so outlandishly priced but you’ve left out the fact they are imported. There’s a lot more tariffs etc when you compare to domestic so it’s not a fair comparison.

While I do love the figures from Mythic Legions...I'm right with you on the price hike between buying directly from 4H and buying from any of the online retailers. I occasionally buy some of these from BBTS, but try to avoid that due to a lot of the figures being jacked up pretty high in comparison. That Thraice, seems to be the worst fig so far as far as breakage goes...she's the first fig I've ever had a problem with, and it seemed as though a lot of other people had the same issue with her. Thankfully, 4H did respond positively to the email I sent them about a replacement, but it took a while for them to actually send out the replacement leg, since they were doing their whole "Mystery Box" sale at the time.

I admit I don’t understand it at all. I do like some of the figures but I’m a big time cherry picker too so easy for me not to grab too many at once. I’m not too hung up if I miss a few either.
