Wonderful interview again with Paul. But once again at about the twenty-minute mark I can totally relate with him. It seems as if we have had parallel lives. I am now on the road again alone for at least two weeks filming for my own channel. I never have any set plans for the next day when I wake up as to where I will wander, where I will eat, or even sleep that next night. I am convinced my entire life I have been somewhat guided by something outside of my own consciousness. Not saying it has been easy but it has been the most incredible journey. I have no regrets. My hunch is the moment I have to leave I will have a smile on my face. Likely my biggest regret will be not telling all the good souls I have encountered I wished them well and most of all I loved them.

Seconded, I've been thinking the same recently as well. Would be great to hear Thai perspectives and experiences in addition to farang. Could make for lots of great content, and also help expand the channel's audience. Pete, I reckon it's worth at least trying out and seeing what the response is like. Perhaps start with Thais who have lived in the west and returned and have experience of both cultures and interesting stories to tell from that.

@@ThairishTimes It would be great if you make a video of the story related with Prince Christopher "Kiko" of Hohenlohe. He died in a jail of Bangkok and it was a mystery. He was the son of Prince Alfonso of Hohenlohe and Princess Ira von Furstenberg.

Thank you, Pete for bringing us these rich interviews. Thank you so much, Paul, for sharing your amazing experiences. Paul, I can listen to you for hours. I am also getting your book. I was in Thailand back in 2006 for about 3 weeks to do a lasik surgery, and I loved the country. Maybe I will visit again one day.

Another great interview Pete. I like the way that you have taken your interview technique to allow the subject to open up and allow them the time to flow with their stories with a minimal prompting by yourself (The interviews you did with Noah Shepard was another great example of this) It makes for great watching. To many interviewers try to control the balance of the interview and control the direction. You are getting the balance just right. I didn't warm to your earlier clips that you made as I felt they lacked character and were travel blogs which are a dime a dozen.(Bangkok Life series for example) but you have hooked me with all the interview series ones you have done..brilliant, you are going from strength to strength and I hope your channel continues to grow.
Paul is a gem, looking forward to the next parts.

Thanks very much Charles. Like everything in life we have to pivot and adapt. I changed the content on the channel and it worked out. Glad you liked the style. I hate to see an interviewer interrupt and project too much of their personality in an interview

Great interview mate. Only thing I would say is maybe say thing about nasty comments on personal appearance as a follow up not while sitting there with Paul or not mention the physical appearance part. Felt very sorry for him. Guys lived an incredible life and low rent nobodies have a dig about his looks. Unfortunately there is more of those people these days than ever before

Pete, thanks for making this interview with Paul. My sincere respect for Paul and his stories. Absolutely amazing and inspiring. Paul has the balls to go out in the wild world and enjoy life. If I ever meet Paul in the streets of Bangkok, I will stop him and ask him to have a beer together, because I love to hear more of his stories. Now I know what I should do whenever I have Thai kids not willing to listen!
