@@Pimpeaux I know I'm late but I also had that mindset of linking shrinking borders to UHC. I can't really think of any other game at the time which also did this (maybe a few sg/hg games or concepts but idk).

I finally came and watched this. I can’t believe what the end of 2019, start of 2020 has brought. Cube AND United UHC were both brought back, (hopefully they’ll keep going) and somehow randomized uhcs got rly popular. Although it seems to be dying again, it showed that it was actually possible for it to be revived, perhaps again. Honestly, so many times after school I would just come home and see the newest episodes of United UHC, or other rr’s like that. I had always wanted to join an RR and be able to record in one of them, but I never really got the chance. I finally did...very recently. It’s sad to only be able to join a community...as it’s dying. But, I believe we might be able to come back... idk how at this point. Also easily the best memory was Defib’s backstab in United s2.

Minecraft in of itself was my childhood, UHC was even more so. Although, I'm more of a person who preferred the old UHC and am not exactly a fan of people being hella stacked with full diamond, tons of gaps, sharp 5, what have you, at the end of the game; regardless, It was still so fun to come together in different communities to play on such a unique gamemode and meet new players, reddit UHC days still stay warm in my heart :) I'm sad to see it go, but happy to see it's legacy
This is the best Minecraft video I've ever watched. Very well made and really entertaining. I had quit Minecraft almost 2 years ago but i'll be looking forward to playing the 1.13 UHC on your server!
this brings back so much memories because I watched alot of classic uhc videos edit: omg the cube uhc I remember that, the huahwi vs nestor moment fight, uhc on air, uhc elite, uhc mundial and united uhc
Very well made! I think you included pretty much everything. For those of my subs who see this I'm inspired to make a documentary on the rise of console UHC!
I was a flash in the pan in terms of UHC; I was first generation Reddit and I just couldn't keep up with the updates, influx of new players and games, and the amount of time I was putting into the game just to be "good". That said, I made some lifelong friends. I watched boys grow into men, I flew to Florida to meet a dozen UHC friends (and as a bonus, Mindcrack), I watched two friends who met through UHC get married and actually stood in their wedding. Sometimes I long for the good old days, but in a way they were just too hectic. But I'll forever be thankful for the friendships I made. There are also a lot of joke "RIP"s in the comments but I want to throw out a legitimate RIP to beastofmc. The community lost him way too young. Thanks, UHC, for the good times :)
The 1st Queen of UHC. There are many "Bests" of UHC but I think that was a first. Or PauseUnpause, lol. Can't remember which. And I also wanna say: Rest in Peace, beastofmc.
I remember being in 5th grade the good ol days where id get home and watch my favorite recorded rounds. 2013-2016. I am now a sophomore in highschool and ill always remember you guys as yall brought a beautiful phase into my life I cannot forget. So thank you Nestor
After watching the entire video, I have never wanted to go back into those good UHC days as bad as ever. Amazing video dude. Thanks for bringing great nostalgia to all of us.
I watched this entire thing with a tear in my eyes, and i have only been around for 3 years... i cant even imagine how much nostalgia this video would bring to the long-time players of this.
back many years ago in 2013/2014, I think i was watching syndicate playing one of his hardcore worlds one time, and i was reading comments and i came across one thread. Someone recommended watching “ThatOneTomahawk” where he plays UHC, and i was curious so i watched the 4th season of the cube UHC and was instantly hooked. Following every season, waiting for episodes to come out everyday, it was all just so exciting and looking back at it now just gives a sad nostalgic feeling. But I thank whoever left that comment, it’s insane how it has led me to where i am now, and the happiness UHC has brought me through the years.
Thank you so much for making such a great video on UHC, for real I don't think there's ever been a better video about UHC (besides maybe "do you wanna team today" by you and blackbear), anyways I have so many great memories from over the years, but one that sticks out to me was actually in an open pvp arena (specifically alacrity, sitris' server) when I was having a constant 70-90 block bow fight with the only other person on the server at the time, and me and him kept chatting back and forth things like "nice shot", "wow this is a great fight" kinda cringe thinking back because it was just a 20 minute bow fight but hey, it is what it is, anyways, at some point either I asked him or he asked me if he/I had skype, and we started a call that didn't last too long because it was around 1 am, and being 12 year old boys, we were both up passed our bedtimes, but we just talked about random stuff and then hung up, so for the next two weeks we're talking and I add him to calls with my other friends, he adds me to calls with some of his friends, the usual stuff new friends do, anyways less than 2 months later I end up going to California, where one of his friends happens to live, and since I had gotten to know the kid over the last two months, his parents were cool with meeting us in Downtown Disney Anaheim, and that was my first time meeting someone from the internet in real life, and while awkward, it was still pretty cool, then a year later I end up meeting with the original friend I added and our families actually hit it off well, so I ended up seeing them almost every year for the next 3 years, and even though I haven't met up with the Cali friend again, I still talk to both of them on a pretty regular basis and I still consider them some of my best friends, and it really blows me away that all these friendships and great memories started from a simple bowfight late night on an open arena server.
You did great with this, incredible job and worth the wait. To be honest I was worried seeing this video that you'd get something wrong with the final status as the title is History and FALL. Love the way you showed that its being revived and still going on even though at a smaller rate. Incredible job with this very well done, side note: griffin dancing at the end was fantastic
I can't believe that I haven't seen this documentary until now. Thank you, xNestorio. Thank you for all of the hard work and dedication that you put in towards this documentary and the UHC community. The UHC Era was one of the core points in my life where I have met many talented, amazing people, and to revisit those glorious moments through this documentary means so much to me, and I regret taking those times for granted, as everything comes to an end eventually. Although I wasn't a huge fan of you back in the days, I couldn't show the amount of appreciation and respect I have towards you now. I hope you end up in great places in the future, and I hope for the revival of UHC. Thank you.
This was my childhood, thank u Nestor for the nostalgia, my favorite UHC memory was just back when i just played uhc without worrying about all tve stuff i worry about today.
Wow. I really don't have words right now, this was absolutely amazing. I will say that I cried more than once watching this video, especially at the end where you had to play "Fox Stevenson - All In (Berva Avortus Acoustic Cover)" It's so amazing seeing how many memories just came from a simple block game, and a community centred on one portion of that block game even. I myself was never really one to play UHC much, I've always wanted to but I never had the computer to do so, I mainly watched other people's videos, and I'm only now realizing how many people just dropped, and how many people might come back to give Hytale a chance. I really hope Hytale can bring us what we desire, and that it isn't too disappointing from the hype we've given it. The UHC community was something special, and I never really realized it ever died that much, because I was off doing other things. It was truly something special, and I believe that there is some hope for the future of the UHC game mode, even if it is just little to none. I may seem like a nobody, but I've been playing this game for almost 8 years now, and by far for me, the UHC community has been my favourite part about it, even if I had never really played it much at all. This is now my favourite video on RUclips. Nestor, Ngal, Mister Dolphin(lmao), you've made something special. I think the community needed this.
Me: Discovers more about the UHC community in 2019 okay i joined in late but tbh theres hope with a few uhc youtubers popping rn also i cant stop watching alot of the uhc vids.... i say theres hope
damn, ive never really been a player because i never had a good enough computer to run uhc, but i did watch tons of videos on it over the years since 2013 and this was really nostalgic and hit the feels even though i was never really a part of the community, really amazing documentary, well worth the full watch. and good luck with what your going to do in the future :')
Uhc On Air was the most nostalgic thing in a video game ever in my opinion (Season 3) Thank you for everything Nestor. I’ve been watching you for so long and it’s been a long, emotional ride. This game was my childhood and still is. Thank you for everything.
The battle of the ages was my favorite part of uhc, i think it inspired many people to start playing differently and that it got people more hyped about the game
I quit playing Minecraft 5-7 years ago, but I remember the early UHCs from the various communities. Though I didn't now what happened to Minecraft and more specifically, UHC, this was a very interesting documentary nonetheless. Great work, mate.
My favorite memory of UHC was watching EthosLab in the MindCrack UHCs and if he ever died watching who killed him and how they got to that moment and then who killed them all the way to the end.
Thank you for bringing me back to the good old days when I’d be eager to get back home from school to watch UHC every other day 😩 I miss the Mindcrack as a whole so much but I also miss dibz and heralen and SSiafs I think it was.. THANK you for taking your time and putting so much effort into this documentary 🙌
This documentary is so detailed, and you can see how he puts so much effort in making this video! The editing and all the information contained in this video is simply great!
I might not be OG, but I got hit with so much nostalgia, sadness, and overall happiness. Seeing this community end is the hardest thing yet, but it had so many good times. I have watched so many youtubers doing their thing in UHCs, funny moments, clutches, etc. This is a great documentary to sum UHC up, seeing as most people don't know the origins. Thank you Nestor for making this, thank everyone in this community for making it great, and lastly, may the memories always thrive. Minecraft PvP was a big part of my childhood, playing it almost everyday. It is so sad to see it pretty much go away... But thank the community to have such an amazing thing rise on such a small concept.
Loved the video! I started watching UHC at Mindcrack UHC season 9. I then found BurningT and that introduced me to the entirety of the reddit community. This allowed me to find my current favourite RUclipsr and one of the few people who has remained loyal to the gamemode -Flouzemaker - he actually, which I’m sure you know made the server Phantom UHC which is now UHC Clubhouse. Also I cried as soon as the song came on at the end.
I put this video off for a while because I didn't want to watch a full hour video, but now that I have watched and finished it I have to say it was amazing. Rip to uhc and all the legends that went with it. I would like too say thank you to Tylarzz, Huahwi, Bluedeww, TheBestGinger13, Mydoeza, Danteh, Zyper, Mentally, Suchspeed, and everyone else in this community. Most importantly though I would like to thank you Nestor most of all. Thank you for making my childhood the best it could be. Love you all!
I was nearly in tears by the end. Watching this made me remember the fun I had watching videos and recorded rounds, flailing around in Reddit games with my friends, and then watching those friends go on to be in those recorded rounds I love. Thanks a ton for sending me down this road again, it's been great.
TylarZZ, PainfulPvP, Talekio, Nestor, m0xyy and Danteh went pro. Solr, ibeaturscore, etc went high. Ace got a girlfriend and is now a full time streamer. Pyr became a doctor? Huahwi joined a streaming team, he stream every now and then. Some others quit, vlog or just live a regular life without gaming.
Best way to end a community on a good note. Thank you for this, ngal

Although, I'm more of a person who preferred the old UHC and am not exactly a fan of people being hella stacked with full diamond, tons of gaps, sharp 5, what have you, at the end of the game; regardless, It was still so fun to come together in different communities to play on such a unique gamemode and meet new players, reddit UHC days still stay warm in my heart :)
I'm sad to see it go, but happy to see it's legacy
This is the best Minecraft video I've ever watched. Very well made and really entertaining. I had quit Minecraft almost 2 years ago but i'll be looking forward to playing the 1.13 UHC on your server!
eximius, badlion and ironwolf were the golden times of uhc
Ahmad9998 Yes it was. 😭
Man I miss eximius.
I actually still have a world download of one of the lobbies I believe lmao
Trizek Bro I met one of my good friends one there that I’ve been friends with for like 5 years.
OMG iron wolf
Hey ahmad its goodness lol
this brings back so much memories because I watched alot of classic uhc videos
edit: omg the cube uhc I remember that, the huahwi vs nestor moment fight, uhc on air, uhc elite, uhc mundial and united uhc
Very well made! I think you included pretty much everything. For those of my subs who see this I'm inspired to make a documentary on the rise of console UHC!
Can't Wait!
Aezuhfy 47 Gold
Can't wait either don't think I'll be in it though which is fine by me😁
Shoutout the og kohi n faction players 🤠
Oh snap where'd u come from :O

CallMeJenga ikr I started playing uhc in 2016
5 years for me and hvnt touched the game in 2 years
Such a great and well made video! Really appreciate the time you took to make this. The nostalgia is real :')
Miss u HalfDumb:(
Come back :(
Jacob
back many years ago in 2013/2014, I think i was watching syndicate playing one of his hardcore worlds one time, and i was reading comments and i came across one thread.
12:38 THAT SONG JUST BROUGHT SO MANY MEMORIES BACK IM CRYING
what is the song tho
My favourite memory in UHC is 100% defib's triple kill in United UHC Season 2. It was so amazing.
Same
You've outdone yourself with this one holy
You were hands down the most underrated eu player
Always been a fan. :)
so good
Nikoladz lol nism znao da uopste zns Za nestora
This hit so close to home I want to thank you Nestor and anyone in the community for all their work and participation
So many good memories here. Glad to have been a part of the community through it all. Awesome job!
This is awesome dude.
The memories that I have from this game will stay with me for the rest of my life.
same here
You did great with this, incredible job and worth the wait.
I will say that I cried more than once watching this video, especially at the end where you had to play "Fox Stevenson - All In (Berva Avortus Acoustic Cover)"
It's so amazing seeing how many memories just came from a simple block game, and a community centred on one portion of that block game even.
That was UHCSG not UHC itself
@@mugiwaraLux ah yeah.
Chanse vs SuchSpeed the best Fight of Whole Uhc On Air
all of these comments from legendary players, this is amazing ngal thank you
IM NOT CRYING YOURE CRYING
Me: Discovers more about the UHC community in 2019
okay i joined in late but tbh theres hope with a few uhc youtubers popping rn also i cant stop watching alot of the uhc vids....
i say theres hope
damn, ive never really been a player because i never had a good enough computer to run uhc, but i did watch tons of videos on it over the years since 2013 and this was really nostalgic and hit the feels even though i was never really a part of the community, really amazing documentary, well worth the full watch. and good luck with what your going to do in the future :')
Hype! I'm glad to be a part of this video and the community in general.
And you deserve to be.
Nestor this video made me cry 😭. Also my favourite UHC memory was you vs Tylarzz in UHC elite when you guys tied ;)
Such an amazing trip down the history of UHC. Thank you nestor for putting all the memories into one amazing documentary
Slammed the like button 2 minutes in. Nice editing, amazing video and documentary style. Im subbing
This was really well done, coming from someone who had no previous knowledge of uhc, this kept me hooked all the way through
The only bad part about this video was that it ended :(
Uhc On Air was the most nostalgic thing in a video game ever in my opinion
(Season 3)
Thank you for everything Nestor. I’ve been watching you for so long and it’s been a long, emotional ride.
This game was my childhood and still is.
Thank you for everything.
The battle of the ages was my favorite part of uhc, i think it inspired many people to start playing differently and that it got people more hyped about the game
NICE video dude. Surprised uhc is still going lol. My personal fave UHC moment was winning AP 8 but then I lost my footage D:
I quit playing Minecraft 5-7 years ago, but I remember the early UHCs from the various communities. Though I didn't now what happened to Minecraft and more specifically, UHC, this was a very interesting documentary nonetheless. Great work, mate.
All those flashbacks made me think of the past... those videos.. i remember all of them 😪😞 so sad...
My favorite memory of UHC was watching EthosLab in the MindCrack UHCs and if he ever died watching who killed him and how they got to that moment and then who killed them all the way to the end.
This is the best minecraft documentary I have watched ❤️
Thank you for bringing me back to the good old days when I’d be eager to get back home from school to watch UHC every other day 😩 I miss the Mindcrack as a whole so much but I also miss dibz and heralen and SSiafs I think it was.. THANK you for taking your time and putting so much effort into this documentary 🙌
This documentary is so detailed, and you can see how he puts so much effort in making this video!
The editing and all the information contained in this video is simply great!
This gamemode gave me a way to clear myself. I loved this gamemode. It is really a shame it had to die. Thank you so much, Ngal.
rip lolitsalex
ik he wasn’t a UHC guy but still rip
he da best pvper
I only ever watched the Mindcrack UHC, and I will continue watching!
I hope Hytale can bring us an amazing UHC gamemode and maybe even get some of the old community back together.
hahahahahah good joke.
Man... The end with All In on background just killed me. Good job Nestor :'(
I was nearly in tears by the end. Watching this made me remember the fun I had watching videos and recorded rounds, flailing around in Reddit games with my friends, and then watching those friends go on to be in those recorded rounds I love. Thanks a ton for sending me down this road again, it's been great.
I just want to say thank you so much for this I miss these days and I try to fill the happiness of UHC with other games. I hope you do well. :D
Some others quit, vlog or just live a regular life without gaming.
iiiTim what do you mean "went high"
@@sp1k340 literally what i mean.
iiiTim You’re joking right?
I could say so many things about this video but I'm gonna limit myself to:
"Pearls don't fall faster"
and I miss Huahwi, lolitsalex and others.
Oh my lord I was introduced to UHC by Eximus UHC, and I was absolutely crushed when it shut down
Dudee same , btw your yt name sounds familiar to me
I love your dedication! I love this video! My favorite memory was hopping on to hypixel uhc with my friends and I hope uhc will come back
That was truly amazing thank you for bringing all these memories back. This makes me wanna play uhc so badly.
