  • Today, we're heading to the dramatic Devil's Punch Bowl in Hamilton, Ontario. But this ain't your typical nature vlog. We're diving into the history of the ILLUMINATED cross that overlooks the whole scene!
This 10-metre steel giant wasn't just plopped down there. We're meeting the man behind it, William Sinclair, and uncovering the story of why he felt compelled to bring light (literally!) to this spot. Was it a religious symbol, a community beacon, or something else entirely?
Plus, we'll explore how of the Devil's Punch Bowl itself may have gotten that interesting name.
So buckle up for stunning visuals, a touch of local history, and maybe even a rekindled appreciation for the power of a simple symbol. Let's go explore!

Saw this for 32 years when living there, and from my baloncy in one place. You can see it driving over the skyway, a landmark in Stoney Creek. Love it!

@heididevito6406 I think the remains of Old Mountain Road are still visible on parts of the Bruce Trail. I can see the asphalt in spots and the trail is wide there. Just by Centennial.
