Love that you watched this. But PLEASE watch them in order or release. You won’t regret it. It’s a long journey but it’s worth it. All films are connected to each other and endgame is the end of the saga that lasted 10 years. Also EVERY marvel movie has post credit scenes. Some more than others. Excited for more reactions💪🏼

@@disneydatenite good thing is you picked a movie that was new to all of us when it came out so doesn’t matter that you started with this one. Deadpool doesn’t count that you watched it out of order because it’s marvel BUT owned from Fox at the time. Guardians of the galaxy is marvel but owned by Disney and it’s known as MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). Capt marvel and captain America are technically first chronologically so they won’t blow any real spoilers, but your best experience will be release order. They aren’t all A+ movies, but the ride is definitely worth it

You have to watch the MCU in release order for it to make sense. Plus, it's more fun that way.
One cool thing about James Gunn:
In most movies, the score is written and performed after the movie is made. That way, the composer doesn't have to deal with a "moving target" and the movie isn't changing very much by the time they start writing.
Gunn had the score made before the movie, that way music could be played on set so the actors could understand the overall feeling of the scene.
You can definitely see the difference that makes with some of the diegetic music.

There’s more than 1 Infinity Stone but they were wielded by The Celestials and were the tools that help build the universe but the Celestials were made by The One Above All which in marvel comics he’s basically God he created anything and everything in Marvel Comics

Background: simply showing the planet Xandar as a setting created a lot of tension for comic book fans.
This is because, in the comic books, the backstory of a major superhero involves a terrible disaster on the capital planet of the Xandarian empire. So a lot of fans watched this expecting the worst to happen to Xandar during the big battle at the climax of this movie.
The Nova Corps are kind of a big deal in the comic books.
Space-faring civilizations in the Marvel universe have very good evacuation plans. They can evacuate a whole planet very quickly. They have to because of a certain yet-to-be-introduced supervillain.
Luckily watching this particular movie at this time won’t necessarily change the storyline too much, but you have to watch them in order or you will lose out on the experience.
I loved this movie great reaction FYI the best way to watch the MCU is release order and make sure you watch the closing credits 😊all the way through in each movie,its a long ride ,but well worth it. Miracles and blessings to you and yours ✌️ 💜 🙏.

You guys are entertaining, glad to find fun commentators. If you can, watching the Marvel movies in order will make so much more sense and easier to keep up with. There's Release Order and Timeline Order. I personally like Timeline order but you can't go wrong either way. 😊

You can watch Guardians vol 1 and 2 out of release order but please wait til after you finish watching Infinity War and Endgame before you watch vol 3. I hope you do Marvel in release order otherwise.

When they first announced this movie, I thought Marvel was insane.
The comic book was never that popular, and I was certain that Rocket & Groot would be too strange for mainstream audiences.
Thank goodness James Gunn proved me wrong.
Speaking of James Gunn, after the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie, white supremacists on the Internet went on a smear campaign, and because a Disney executive failed to research what was going on before making a decision, James Gunn got fired from the MCU just as GotG 3 would have started production.
James Gunn ran off and did a couple of DC projects, until Disney got their heads out of their butts and brought James Gunn back to do the third movie.
Here is why that is interesting.
As a result of all of this, James Gunn really, really hates white supremacists with the white-hot passion of a thousand burning suns. I cannot recommend enough that you watch the DC TV show Peacemaker. Both the text and subtext of Peacemaker is one giant middle finger at white supremacists.
James Gunn came back to do GotG 3, then he is going to take over the DC movie universe and basically become the Kevin Feige of DC.
This is interesting because as I mentioned in your Captain America movie, those artists and writers in the Golden Age who created the superhero genre were mostly Jewish sons of immigrants who were trying to process what was going on in Germany at the time. Because of his very public spat with white supremacists, James Gunn is in a very similar head space to those artists and writers who originally created the superhero genre (mostly at DC). We could be witnessing something genuinely interesting after James Gunn takes over.
Anyway, please check out Peacemaker, but be warned: it is not a kid-friendly TV show. It's all about white supremacists, so it's full of swearing, extreme violence, and racism. But I have to say that it is deeply satisfying watching white supremacists be on the receiving end of violence. This is a reason that Season 1 of Watchmen is also worth watching.

That opening fight sequence angered comic book fans. I remember everyone saying "Gamorra does not lose fistfights!"
Thanos and Magneto had a competition to see who could be the worst possible father (not literally). I'm pretty sure Thanos won. By a lot.
Groot is the last of his species, and ironically, the only nice one. The rest of his species were horrible conquerors or something.
The dog is a major Guardians character, but they decided they didn't want to have a real dog next to CGI characters.
In the comic books, Cosmo is a boy dog. In the movies, they made her a girl dog because the character is based on Laika, the dog that the Soviets sent into space, and Laika was a girl dog. Everyone gets sad when they find out what happened to Laika. Cosmo is basically Marvel's version of Laika, but instead of dying in outer space, Cosmo was rescued by a scientist who gave her enhanced intelligence and psychic powers. Cosmo is arguably smarter than humans but is still a dog. Very much a dog. In the comics, Cosmo and Rocket do not get along.
The Collector is a semi-significant character. You will meet his brother the Champion in the third Thor movie. The Collector and the Champion are the oldest mortal beings in the galaxy. That's why the Champion keeps making age jokes. They are both quite insane. The collector believes that the galaxy is going to be destroyed, and is trying to collect everything he thinks is interesting before that happens. The Champion is obsessed with having people fight to the death for his amusement.
The humanoid/bipedal duck being kept by the Collector is a famous Marvel character named Howard the Duck. Do not watch the 1980s movie based on the character. Howard is one of those characters Marvel uses to parody itself. Howard doesn't have any superpowers or anything. The character is mostly famous for getting into arguments with God.
The Ravagers were created for this movie, but are loosely based on the Starjammers. The Starjammers are from a part of the galaxy where the major superpower is ruled by a royal family that has a lot of fratricide/regicide. At any moment, the current monarch could be killed by a relative, and overnight, all of the rules, laws, and customs of the empire would change. The Starjammers are all former slaves, so whenever slavery is legal in the Shi'ar empire, the Starjammers become anti-slavery pirates.

May I make a constructive criticism? Yeah, I think y’all could probably switch the imagery of you and the movie so that yeah I don’t cut too much into it even when y’all have to make cuts because you can’t do the full thing on RUclips but still like have you on the main screen and have the small screen be the movie I meant, that way you can comment and not cut off too much from the movie while you can still make your edits for RUclips. Just a suggestion, but love you guys.

This movie has an AWESOME soundtrack from the 70‘s. The opening song „Come and Get Your Love“ was performed by a Native American band called ‚Red Bone“. You can see their live performance of this song on UTube. They were on a show called „The Midnight Special“. We had some great music in the 70‘s!!! Cheers

@@disneydateniteI actually read one time that it’s because Walt Disneys mother died when he was young and he incorporated that into the stories. Also a lot of the original stories (as far as the cartoons go) already had that part in them

watching them out of release order will give you MAJOR spoilers for the future MCU movies, as they're connected in a greater storyline. won't be fun watching things when you already know characters will die, major plot points spoiled, and watching the end of a story before the middle of the story happening beforehand. only a few of these movies can be watched out of order without spoilers, so please watch them in order as in not to ruin the most epic movie franchise series for yourselves.
also, watching them out of order will loose you many viewers, there's good reason for us wanting you to watch this in the right order.

The third one though, you can do what you want, but my advice is, do not watch them until you have watched avengers: infinity war, avengers: endgame and guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special.
