Billy Toad I would like to see Morgan Uceny on your channel. Probably one of the greatest US Female runners that most people don’t remember. She is an amazing runner but such a great person as well.
I agree. Morgan has worked so hard and it seems like she has been robbed in so many races. Someone always seems to take her out with a trip or a fall. What's next, a meteor falling out of the sky??? She's a far better runner than some of her races have shown!
This is the best interview I have ever seen with this lady. You can clearly hear her, and she seems completely relaxed. Talking while running - something I could not do back in the days when I was running. Total respect for KT.
You couldn't talk while running means you were running too hard. The whole point of easy pace is to be able to talk. That is why you "was running" instead of are running :D
But for those runs she’s going incredibly slow, like 10-12 minute miles. Those runs are only to get the blood flowing into your muscles. Recovery runs are generally somewhat long and extremely slow
0verX Rocket League Clan Channel ummmm. I think a bit faster than that lol. That’s basically walking. I’d guess I little under 8 considering how good she is. Maybe a bit faster
AYYE! Honored to hear yall liked it! was super fun to make! Thanks so much for watching! and yes XC runner are crazy! who else wants to run 80 miles a week for FUN! hahah :P
MooMoo Math and Science No way! You helped me get though my math class last year lol, funny seeing you here but you’re 100% right about runners being at the top, the work ethic learned from this sport runs true in everything we do
I would just like to say that Katelyn is the one person I look up to the most, because not only is she so fast she is incredibly smart, she seems so nice and happy, and then on top of all that she’s so pretty😂 I really want to be just like her in highschool and for the rest of my life (:
As a NY High School Coach I’m always in awe of her every time I see her run at a meet. I get so excited to see if she’s going to break a record that day, she actually runs faster towards the end of her races!! She’s amazing to watch, don’t be surprised to see her as a future Olympian.
katelyn, i know how sport can go, injuries and any number of obstacles. but hope to see you with golds galore in the future. genuinely nice person. and toad, first video of yours i've seen. it's a great way to see the person behind the athlete. thanks very much for what you do

When I woke up today, I had not heard of this young athlete. By bedtime tonight, I will have binge watched her runs. I really enjoyed hearing her talk in this. Go, Katelyn!!!
I'm from Russia. And for 4 years now I've been rooting for Katelyn Tuohy as if I were my own. She is a very talented girl. I wish her health and great victories! She reminds me of a very talented, young Russian skier, Olympic champion, Veronika Stepanova.
Katelyn seems so genuine. It's so great to see her working hard, getting results and dreaming big. She has more dedication than 99% of people out there, and I hope she is able to enjoy the ride, as well as the destination, wherever that may be. From a middle-aged "has-been" runner's perspective, she is a complete inspiration to watch, and I wish her only the best in her endeavors. May she never lose the joy of running and competing.
This is easily the Best Katelyn Tuohy interview I've seen so far, very laid back and the most happy Definitely want to see more interviews like this for the future.
Thanks, Billy, it's really good to hear Kaitlyn just chatting away. I think we'll all be seeing more of her as the Olympics and World Championships became part of her future, so it's good to have a sense of her as a person. Well done buddy!
Strong thighs calves and strong/flexible stable joints make running an absolute joy. Squats, deadlifts and running sprints short & long distance and a killer diet/rest program + besties make champions.
Awesome interview. Watched it will my 11 year old daughter who is an up and coming XC/Track runner. It was very inspiring to her. Their personalities and likes are very similar.
My 13yr old daughter broke her hip 14 months ago just running out of the bathroom after a shower. Katelyn has inspired me over this whole time to push my daughter to walk normal again muchless run. I could say more, but we want to see you in Paris ... just being there is enough.
James I. O'Neill had a merge practice with North Rockland HS and it was so cool to see her run ahead of everyone in practice! It was so cool too actually run at the same practice as her, wish her the best :)
The most fun interview I've seen in a long time! The other "fun" runner from Rockland County, New York I remember so well was Shelby Greany. Very fast and a great interview always. Never afraid to speak her mind.
Don't compare yourself to other runners. Compare yourself to those that don't run. You wanna quit? I wish I had the motivation to start! I'm fat, lazy and miserable. You don't want that. Don't stop running.
What an enjoyable interview. I think I smiled through the whole thing, and I'm not even a fan racing. Somehow I clicked on the Katelyn Tuohy 5000M run and I'm hooked. I LOVE watching how she strides from the hips and uses all of her leg in graceful motion. Some other runners I've seen her run against look as though their legs are heavy that they don't have the energy to lift them, and they want to run from the knee. Can't wait to see her at the Olympics.
This is by far the best video I've seen featuring Katelyn and the best one out there still IMO. Loved it. And I don't mind the Rangers as it's been embarrassing being a Flyers fan for so many decades now haha.
Very cool.....God bless her running and it would be so cool to see her win the Olympics some day. This is a cool format and fun style of interview that actually reveals a lot. Love it.
Great interview...been following her a few years...it'll be fun watching her in Paris 2024 and the journey through NCAA...I can see Tuohy, Ping and Hull in 2028
I’m from Australia but love following the American cross country races and league. Could somebody tell me what the difference is between going pro and college ? Thanks :)

That N.C. State team is going to be great for years to come. Kind of cool that Katelyn is going to be college teammates with Kelsey Chmiel, Marlee Starliper and others.
