Congratulations on choosing the Ryker. You know Kelly will love it to once it warms up. You are a very lucky man !!!. Not many people have jobs where they can ride cool motorcycles for free.
Shawn and Kelly, you guys are so much fun to watch, Will be looking forward to all your opinions and any Tech tips you learn about the new loaner rider. I have noticed how many newbies are already reporting about having a death grip while cruising down at highway speeds, it always comes back to alignment and or proper air pressure in all three tires, then all is well once again. I am glad to see that by the parking brake there is what looks like an option to add a key lock? The windscreen and colored covers blend in well with the lower silver panels. I'm halfway to saving up funds for the new purchase of my Rally, I have a feeling once the weather warms up the urge to run down to the local dealer and put half down and finance the remainder is going to eat away at me lol. bring on more epic Ryker rides! Not sure if the parking brake lock is available to us in the States as an option, but BRP shows it as OEM on the units sold in Australia and Russia... Thanks!
@@TheSmoaksVlogs I'm thinking that BRP could have replaced the key location with a blank panel, by leaving it there, makes me think those of us who really want to be able to lock it could order said key mechanism from BRP and install it or have it installed?
Yup, did see that coming. Listening to you rave about how much fun you had when you first rode it, it was a forgone conclusion that you would have one sooner rather than later. Gotta envy your job on how you get to take all these great toys home. Thanks

@Camilo Wayne Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
I,m happy for you Shawn , maybe this weekend you,ll introduce the Ryker to the Hill of the barking dog !! Congratulations and very much looking forward to you messing around with the Ryker on the road and in the shed !!

Glad you are happy with your new toy!! To be honest though if I was going to add another bike to my Road King it would be an Iron or even a Indian scout bobber! Nothin more than 2 wheels for me.
You know the RT is me, but that Ryker looks like a whole lot of fun. Helmet off to ya. I know the ride was cold but you made it look effortless. You really know how to make a guys day. You be safe tomorrow and I know how to many clothes makes you feel, but trust me you really need to bundle up on that ride to work. You WILL appreciate the warmth!!!!!!
Congratulations excellent choice I'm so glad you got the Ryker. Now you can get some serious seat time to give us Good overall feedback on this cool new machine! Can't wait to see Kelly ride it And give us her thoughts.
You had the decision made the day the first one came outta the crate. Lol. The RT is very very nice for sure, but with the Ryker, you'll have more room in the garage.... for Kelly's 600 Ryker. 😁 Oh and the camera view with the wine screen is perfect and I could hear you no problem. C u both tomorrow.
Hey Shawn I love u guys and your videos you are so down to earth people and you seem so happy with each other. Kinda figured that it wouldn't be long until a Ryker found it's way into your garage. As little as you rode the R/T it just makes sense. lol. Have fun, looking forward to many adventures on it. The amount of exposure that you will give to the Ryker (free advertisement) will be a win win for you and Can-Am. Have a great day...praying for warm weather for the Spyder ride to work......
I really don't like the double beep when reversing. I'm sure there's a way to disconnect that, that'd be the first thing I'd do. Great ride for sure, gonna look at one on Tuesday!
I thought it would be just a matter of time before a Ryker found it's way to the stable at the "Smoak Ranch", seriously though, I think Kelly would have no problem with the 900, because of the way She handles the Spyder, but of course it's up to Her. But most of all I'm Happy for You, it's funny, You're gonna go crazy on what bike to take out for a Rip, of course it'll be the Ryker, maybe if it's warm enough Kelly can go with You riding the Ryker while You choose one of the other bikes. Well Thanks for taking Us along for the ride
Hi Shawn congrats on choosing the Ryker Rally. The only thing that may put me off getting one is, I don't think the front storage or fuel access thingy are lockable. So couldn't leave at work unattended. Shame as ideal price for me.
have you heard anything about the front tires falling off? there is a guy in TX that it happen too with only 808 mile. seems the three small aligning pins are backing out. might want to check on it.
I seen the videos... Poor guy! This is the first I've ever seen. Clearly caused by the lugs not being torqued correctly, and yes, this could cause the brake disk alignment pins to come loose and start to back out... Thanks Tom!
