I'm 78 - been studying ancient mysteries all my life - this the best summary presentation I have yet seen on the mystery of the megalithic builders, with excellent supportive detail footage. I spent 11 years in archaeology and the tendency of academia to resist new ideas is absolutely anti-scientific. The saying used to taunt NASA applies here too: "Investigate the unexplained - don't explain the uninvestigated!"😃

Please tell me one "new idea" that was put forward in this video. I have heard, and seen, all of the things asserted here in books from 170 years ago (Ignatius Donnelly), 70 years ago (Emmanuel Velikovsy), in the nineties I read "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Hancock (repurpose, repackage of the old ideas), after getting a snootful of the ancient alien hypothesis from Sitchin and Von Danniken.
These claims have been around a long time, nothing new about them. If your story is that academia has not heard of or investigated them I'm thinking that you weren't really "in" archaeology.

This documentary is so well done. The amount of effort, experts, equipment, coordination, expenses, and so on that it takes to achieve such a high level of verified information is difficult to achieve. This deserves 10's of millions of views because it would wake up so many people to our forgotten past. I would say that is probably one of the greatest things we could achieve as a civilization because its so important to know where we really came from.

If some race of seafarers were travelled the world they would bring their DNA of themselves, their livestock, and their agriculture with them. This is absolutely missing from the genetic record of every human, goat, and potato on the planet! Stone Age people built Stone Age megaliths. Who woulda thought!!

Such a great documentary! ❤ perhaps the meter was used and spread far and wide because they had knowledge of and established the Prime Meridian as well as the equator and tropics long before the modern era using archs within celestial bodies to measure latitude/longitude long before modern historical accounts. Dolmens and standing stones as landmark, terrestial navigational tools as well. Would be most interesting to see how and obviously IF the meter was applied to other structures such as the above.
Was actually listening to the history of cartography and BAM, it hit me...I remembered the meter featured in this documentary only to find what it confirmed in my mind for so long...ancient seafaring technology! Explains so much, really!

And artist's perspective on Gobekli Tepe: The thing that struck me immediately was how all I had learned from thick books about the history of art is that there's an almost unbroken evolutionary timeline from cuneiform to hieroglyphs and logographics, and from cave paintings, to sculpture to perspective and realism in paintings, in our classical history.
When a child draws a stick figure, they've been exposed to years of depictions of humans and are adopting common themes, the circle head, lines or blocks for the body and appendages. These aren't automatic assumptions, they're learned imitations of cultural norms.
The *highly stylized* sculptures at Gobekli Tepe are undeniably the refined product of a culture that had time and interest in developing a sophisticated shape language.
There had to be badly drawn predecessors of that spider and bird from hundreds of years earlier. You don't begin drawing square H shapes unless _block geometry_ is part of everyday life. What is the appeal of that shape to a _hunter gatherer?_ This isn't a fluke event where a couple of animal chasers decided to do some squiggles in rocks, this is a civilization with a heritage of artists. If I had to guess what that civilization was like, going by a drawing of an animal, I assume they were as advanced as many native American cultures would be thousands of years later.
And as covered in this documentary, there are thousands of years of mysterious history and technologies in native American cultures. So there would be behind the artists of Gobekli Tepe.

Jason Black, aren't you mixing up Göbekli tepe with the sites in Peru? The huge spider and bird drawings, are in Peru!

    • @ks5553
      @ks5553 Год назад +3

Great insights. I've always been interested in the science and never really thought about how much art-history would have to play into it as well. Super interesting!
They don't go too in-depth about Gobekli Tepe in this movie, so I want to add a few points not mentioned in hopes it will be of some help...
Some of the animals depicted went extinct during the Younger Dryas, so they may also be some sort of record keeping.
There are some pretty convincing arguments that many of the pillars represent "headless" men, possibly representing lost scholars, or even entire civilizations lost to the cataclysm.
Many of the animal groupings depicted on the sides of pillars have been shown to be full representations of the sky, with the animals each representing constellations. A way of pointing to specific times during the processional cycle. Pillar 43 for example is an exact date for the end of the Younger Dryas during the Summer solstice. And the "handbags" shown at the top of the pillars are not actually bags. They are representations of the other three marking points of that processional date (the winter solstice, and the two equinoxes). The animals that represent the corresponding constellations behind the sun at those other three points, are shown next to each "handbag"
Dr. Martin Sweatman is a physicist who wrote a book which goes into incredible detail using the scientific method for deciphering the deep science depicted at Gobekli Tepe, and many other sites as well. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the site. It's called Prehistory Decoded. If you enjoyed this movie you will love the book imho.

The robber's tunnel was axactly that: a tunnel made by robbers who were taking something out. They didn't care about if the entrance was visible or not. What they wanted to take out was larger than the entrance tunnel and couldn't be safely maneuvered out. The tunnel by Caliph Al Mamun has been proven to be carved from the inside going out and simultaneously from the outside going in. That's why the tunnel isn't a straight line. It's two straight lines that meet in the middle. This would be the fastest and most efficient way to dig such a tunnel. Watch the "History for Granite" channel for more on this theory. It is the only reaonable explanation for the existence of this tunnel and its interior characteristics.

    Couple of thoughts -
A lot of the stone used in these constructions (granite, quartz, limestone) have piezoelectric properties and in the case of limestone can generate a charge from electromagnetic induction. Could these be built on "hot spots" to take advantage of natural piezoelectric properties from earthquakes, or perhaps as warning signals?
There's also a lot of focus on resonance - something Tesla focused on. And, something I didn't know until recently, piezoelectric rock is used en masse is just about every application modernly, but not as a (primary) power source generally speaking (think like a car battery, or replacement for lithium batteries). Could it be that these chambers were built to focus resonance to take advantage of that property? This isn't completely out of the realm of reality - there's papers in the Journal of Applied Physics on the topic of the pyramids focusing electromagnetic fields which is how the limestone could generate a charge.
Something else I've been curious about, especially with the focus on resonance, we have ultrasonic cutters today. With the precision of how these stones are carved/cut then assembled, and with knowledge of resonance, it might not be a far leap to our long-removed forebears having versions of such cutters. These are often used in high-precision applications... which fits the bill of a lot of the ancient stones fit together so tightly you can't fit a piece of paper through them. Aerospace systems manufacturers even use them to not produce a ton of dust while cutting as well, which could be another example of application for the caves.
As an aside to the above, it's easier to move objects when they are vibrating, it seems like that could be a case for using resonance to cause vibration and make it easier to move an object, especially a large one like some of these tens-of-tons stone blocks. I think it would be a bit of a stretch to go as far as acoustic levitation, but that might not be too far of a leap either considering the caves resonate at specific frequencies which shows some intimate knowledge of acoustics. It would take quite a bit of, well, lots of things but mainly power and the ability to reproduce the frequencies, especially while on the move, to accomplish it.

Even Tesla credited the ancient Egyptians for his "discoveries". The arrogance of modern West has blinded the entire world and cut us off from any possibility to unlock the secrets for the sake of our re-advancement . The entire exploration era was a huge fail, the treatment of the keepers of the ancient knowledge by the colonial conquerers will never be forgotten. Pandoras doors will forever be closed for the cursed people who brought the end of days all over the world. Indigenous people know exactly about the resonance and powers, even about the identity of those who built the megaliths and what messages they brought. How come Westerners still do not know?

There are facts that are undeniable. Everywhere, there are stone monuments that cannot have been created with ancient tools alone. The denial of high tech 12,000 years ago is irrational, just what established science has been claiming since the first critical questions were published. It was Erich von Däniken who started this. The questions must be put. The conclusions allow a debate. Däniken never insisted on all this being the work of developed beings from outer space, he does not exclude the idea either. Actually, there may have been superior cultures on this globe before. I think it would be more amazing to presume that mankind were idling on stone age level for 90 000 years and suddenly rose to the height of the 21st century, than to allow thinking about achievements of the past.

Just to clarify, Hancock wants to debate on the Joe Rogan show where he has appeared multiple times and has a good relationship with Rogan. Kind of unfair to expect people to debate on non-neutral ground and with a non-neutral host. The point about metaphysics is also important since Hancock in recent years has pushed a lot of that. Not sure how you are supposed to debate the prospect that the pyramids were built by psychic power based levitation. Others have offered to debate Hancock but at last word he won't do it because he considers himself above debating people who don't have much celebrity status. The problem being that Hoopes (the archaelogist that declined the debate) isnt all that well known himself. A suspicious person might suspect that Hancock knew Hoopes wouldnt debate (a position that I think Hoopes took before this situation even arose), challenged him, and then used the excuse of lack of their being well-known to avoid debating others who have offered to debate.

Homogeneous blocks, or brick like we use today that are the same size are actually not a good building material. Polygonal blocks are the most resilient building technique (mostly) but the key to "polygonal" stones or bricks is to mirror the random shape that is on the left identically to the wall to the right. Each side has an identical pattern. I worked on a farmhouse installing water proofing, and the original foundation was made with rocks literally from a nearby creek in the 1880's. Cutting the stones randomly at first then adding the same size rocks to the wall across from it. Then in the 1950's another foundation was added with modern poured concrete. It was the newer modern concrete that was leaking not the older foundation built in 1880. And each wall mirrored the pattern of the wall across from it. It does work. Also had the masonic symbol in the front wall above the garage door, and the garage door was located in the basement of the house.

Great synopsis of everything I've heard in the recent years. One thing I think about is are church's built to resonate as the same frequencies? If so that would be interesting. Another thing is I think ancient India are the masters of stone work. You look at the complex carving and intricate work they did and it's by far the most superior. It also matches the others in complexity as well. It also succeeds it in some cases. To me they had the most knowledge. The other thing is all of the earlier stuff is much more complex than later stuff. It's clearly evident that when people came upon these places and tried to repair them. All the knowledge that was once known was lost ie using small bricks for repair. I look forward to the day the mainstream archaeology is turned on its head. I'd also be curious to see if there are places in the US that follow the circle. Almost seems like a migration route in a sense. It would be interesting to use the golden ratio to see what else could be found. All of this was clearly no accident nor a coincidence.

Excellent. The High Chamber and the Low Chamber is a much better way of describing the interior spaces of the Great Pyramid. This film should be part of every school's curriculum. Eye-opening and provocative. Looking forward to future efforts. Thanks so much!

I think it very poorly done, extremely superficial, but might
be appreciated by dim witted high school students who have
      read absolutely nothing, and they
      are legion.
