I think i tried, i haven't made any 3d map for a long time though and don't remember what exactly was the difference in the result, you can always experiment and see the difference.
@@JumisVisuals I can't experiment anything because I didn't buy DroneLink yet. I'm trying to understand if it's worth it. I got the MA2 but I'm still using the Parrot Anafi for photogrammetry. Dji MA2 is not supported by Pix4d capture or Drone Deploy, the only way to get a 3d model through auto flying with grids is apparently Drone Link and it's what I'm here for :)
For better results, create a dense cloud before you create your mesh or DEM.

Good stuff. Have you tried to build the 3d map by providing the pics to Meshroom instead of Metashape?

how do u use the flight plan on the drone?
Operate the drone with the Dronelink app and open one of the prepared flight plans

@@yellowgavan you can start making maps with just one payment and it wasn't that expensive. Depends how much you are in need of making maps
