hello is it possible to take pictures of a human and put it into reality capture then use the fbx file for iclone8 for animation ?

Can these reality captures can be used for video games/modeling in virtual worlds? I bet some really amazing video games are coming that use reality capture :)

For sure yes, check out quixel megascans used in many games and also book of the dead in unity

Wow great video. I am wondering if you have had a chance to try out the phantom 4 professional also. What are the benifits you would see between the air 2s over the phantom 4. Also have you looked into the phantom 4 RTK?

Hi I tried with a phantom 3 many years ago, I imagine phantom 4 should give similar results due to 1 inch 20mp sensor. Only difference I can think of would be In flying , phantom 4 being heavier would be better in wind and air 2 range more compact with better battery

Hi there! Thank you for the video! Do you think Mavic Air 2 is enough to model an archaeological trench? Or do you suggest just Mavic Air 2S? I need high-resolution for my 3D models. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Air 2s has larger sensor and higher mega pixel. Depends on budget and detail required my friend. New mini 3 just released toi today...

You may be able to answer a question for me, please. I have a Mini 2 and would like to use it, with say Dronelink (so autonomous flight) and produce detailed maps (as much as one can with a Mini 2. All about practice) and simple photogrammetry models. Which software would you recommend for a newbie to learn?

Thank you. This is my next conquest.
I'll check out the software you're using and add it to the budget.
You mentioned at the end that the Air 2 is faster. Do you mean for editing or do you mean the flight speed?

by faster he means it was quicker for him to use the POI mode instead of flying manually. The 'Point Of Interest' mode will fly around the subject by itself, all you have to do is take the photos. The drone will continue to circle the subject if you increase or decrease in height as well.

Check out quixel megascans and unity book of the dead for examples in game, many examples In cinema too

Great video, How much RAM does this use?

    • @MrKams1

Hi 16gb minimum I would have thought as not a huge dataset. I have 32 on my laptop but for larger datasets with more pics and higher settings right up to 128 or more

Hey Kams, as a beginner and on a budget I don't suppose you'd have any insight on how well the Mini 2 would work. Its something I've been thinking to do both for budget and to avoid the hassle of the drone registration/license on the heavier drones like the air2 your using.

hi the mini 2 should work just fine, there may be some loss of detail due to sensor being smaller and resolution being less than air2s but it should still definitely work
