I hope you enjoy this video, I am very proud of it. A lot of time, effort and planning went into it. I know there are over 10,000 reviews on RUclips already about it but I hope you can watch just one more, it's unlike any other review out there :)
This review is about my hope that DJI will bring out the drone that ticks all the boxes...the boxes aren't even that many. The Mavic 2 Pro ticks many but is missing key things, so does the Air 2S deliver what I am missing?

Much as I could patiently wait for the Mavic 3, Im thinking it's beyond what I can afford and the Air 2S is a very appealing option right now.
This review is so inspiring, I relate a lot with your story I start my dream with the Phantom 1, I was in the NYCDFF in 2015 when you won with Koh Yao Noi I was the Mexico Airport (legal) video. Best regards and I agree this drone is nearly perfect.
word. It's amazing how many of these he pumps out a year. Amazing quality. Plus he has 5 cats to take care of as well. Some people have more than 24 hrs in a day

Grinned from ear to ear at the intro. Bought the 2S and very impressed. For me, it was quicker to get it in the air and my god, the size and weight is so much more luggable than my 2 pro
philip's videos really are the only gear reviews of which you're sure to came out after watching with better mood than before.
Real cinematic experience, enjoyed my popcorn and a big Coke while watching this on my 85 in tv with a dimly lit room…truly a RUclips shortie gem

@@philipbloom Ah! Yes... I must have been confused. The minimum focusing shots you did on the 2S are really impressive. It started to look like a real camera in those parts.

I love this review, the opening sequence was 🔥. I’m waiting for the Maveric 3pro as well, sadly full obstacle avoidance is a necessity as trees can’t help but hug me every time I fly
I find I just turn off the sensors since I find I get into situations where the drone gets stuck because it thinks it's blocked on all sides.

This simply the best overall info on this product I have seen. It’s a overview of this new model from a creative point of view.
Damn DJI for flooding social media and KOLs with soo many seeded products as it’s starting to make it impossible for those who make content outside the usual “unboxing” and “it’s the best drone ever” style reviews to get there content seen among the noise of all the others.
Mr Bloom outstanding as always and I will be sharing this far and wide.

Ideal presentation pace coupled with dry humour make your reviews & tutorials an absolute joy to watch.
With most channels when endorsing supporters section arises I am usually double tapping furiously at the 10sec fast forward side of screen however the way you slipped in Story Blocks by including their content at the beginning of your video then integrating the mention in at just the right time was masterful, you got me hook line & sinker 😄

Yes yes yes! Finally someone that shares my thoughts on two topics.
1. The Mavic 3/Phantom 5 needs to bridge the gap between the Mavics and Inspires with interchangeable lens. Give the Mavic 3 a cheaper set of lenses than the Inspire to keep the costs down. Thinking like a Canon L f/1.2 vs Canon Non-L f/1.8 scenario.
2. While being a Air 2 owner I am not super excited about the Air 2S but I'm more excited in the hope that DJI will keep its trend of putting Air sensors into the Pocket. A Pocket 3 with a one inch sensor would get me to grab an Air 2S. What a great pair that would make for just about any adventure on land or sky!

I have vowed never to buy another drone without first watching your review of the camera. There is no one else that I have found so far who does such a thorough discussion of drone camera capabilities from the prospective of a filmmaker. Of course, you realize that this means that you are required to purchase every new DJI drone that comes out and review the camera it so that I can be an informed buyer. ;-)

Genius Phil. Your best video to date. 😂 Your storyteller was priceless, and stumping off in the distance to the sound of a DJI drone bleating about its low battery was just perfection.

Philip, Thank you so much for making this video. The wait was all worth the while. Your videos are so good, I force myself to watch all the adverts, which in this case was a whole 12 minutes of advertising for a 25 minute. Google need to sort this out, This would never happen with terrestrial TV and should happen for VOD either.
Still, love you videos and really enjoyed how you always bring a new engaging story to your reviews.

Fell in love with this drone (my first) on its first flight. But absolutely agree with your criticisms of it. Cinesmooth needs to be slower 1m/s or user adjustable. And sharpening levels should definitely be an option. This video was great (both informative and entertaining). Thank you.

Excellent presentation Sir Bloom- I Went down the Ruth Liptrot Rabbit hole (try saying that five times quickly) and ended up loving Brian Blessed in Flash Gordon. Got to love the intermenet! I have an Air 2s and it certainly is a step towards perfection. Gerald's cameo was pure gold.

Having watched your Mavic 3 videos plus this one (again), I finally decided to go for the Air2S Fly More with the Smart Controller. With £150 off at the moment, I think the bang for buck over the Mavic 3 is well worth it. Yes I will lose out on the bigger sensor, but for my own needs, predominantly stock video and YT, the little bit of extra noise in low light is a decent trade off. Thanks so much for the sheer time and effort you put into your drone videos.
Just flew my 2S for the first time. Absolutely agree the “Cine” mode is far too fast. It could be nice but I’d like a “Tripod” mode back. Maybe being able to bind it to the Function button to switch between Cine and Tripod.
I will be showing a but if a hack in a video in a a few days :)

I love a good story--and your slow sequences are magical. When I first flew my new Air2S, I thought the Mode switch was defective. Cine mode was about the same speed as Normal mode. Maybe DJI will fix this if you keep embarrassing them in your charming, gentle way.
