Well firstly THANK YOU! To each and everyone of you getting me to 40k subscribers and starting me on this journey of helping others, I am loving it. Secondly: I've added subtitles so would be great if the viewers who use subtitle let me know if they come out okay. Thirdly: I have the biggest garden clearance and pressure washing blessing coming next FRIDAY!
Captioning looks good. I have had damaged hearing since I was pretty young (multiple ear infections caused by parents smoking) so the captioning is pretty important for me.
The subtitles are much better than the automatically generated ones, thank you! I always have them switched on as English is not my native language and sometimes I do not understand some words, with the help of subtitles I can read and look them up :-)
In the 1980s, when my husband and I were landscaping, we also found this to be true. Other contractors just "did their jobs" but left the mess, often after we had left it pristine. In this case, the reward for your job well-done is to do it again. Many would not. Thank you for all your efforts and keep on, my brother. You and I will never know the true value of these efforts in the lives of people. Your work so far from us in Arizona is an ongoing encouragement here. Our 8 guy volunteer community grass mowing group is out for breakfast this morning. Last year the team was one person.
That sounds amazing Janet! 8 people can make such a difference. It is a shame as the cement was like dust too so it just came straight back out but tried to be as gentle as possible
@@FlawlessCleaningServices when the time comes to recommend, I think it's safe to say people will remember the ignorance who left things this way, but they will also remember you putting the mistakes of others as right as you could make them. Cement requires cure time. Too much heat & too dry, it sets up too fast and crumbles from rapid expansion & contraction. Too much water, followed by rain all week, it melts away like plaster. The art to it is a goldilocks zone called proper slump that requires paying attention to the weather before you even begin. I believe Father Doug was not briefed about the pointing job if he called you back so soon after they "finished". To fully cure a heavily trafficked area takes a minimum of 3 days, all the way up to 7 days when even God took a rest. This job was too large to do in a day even for a large crew. It needed to be completed methodically in sections, say 4hrs a day for a week, and the Church needed to actively direct traffic around curing tiles for as long as it took. Doing the main entrance for mass on a Monday would give it sufficient time if the weather was cooperating (no heavy rain). On days when humidity is low, periodic slight misting from a garden hose is required. The pavers need to stay damp so they don't wick away moisture too quickly from the grout. Allowing foot traffic or applying water directly to the grout before it's cured guarantees failure. As they say in the states, when everyone is wrong, nobody is at fault (legally). My advice to the ignorance is to know your limits and do homework before you take on a job. My advice to Father Doug after the fact would be to allow the ignorance to grind down the grout & vacuum up after themselves, but hire out the grout placement to an experienced tradesman who are licensed and bonded. It takes no talent to wreck things, and a tradesman let off the hook for the tedious part of the job might be a little relieved & cut you a deal. My advice to you, Ben, is to not take on cleaning jobs until after a week or two past the pointing job. If their job failed, you don't want to be the monkey in the middle of someone else's legal dispute. So many of your jobs involve weeds growing in the cracks; Symptoms of failed pointing. Lichens, mosses, fungi, and algae leach minerals out of stone/concrete destabilizing them. Areas of poor drainage also shorten the shelf life of pointing. Let your customers know in advance the state of the maintenance before you do the job, as surely as you clean out drains before you start up your power washer.

Amazing, they got more cement on the paving, than in the pointing! Unfortunately the little cement in the cracks washed away as it wasn't mixed correctly. This is why people are wary of hiring contractors these days. Thankfully there are people like you, who are willing to do good work and prove it. They didn’t return for them because the tools were stolen in the first place. That way if the police are ever called out about it and the tools have identifying marks on them, the property owner appears to be the thief who then did a bad job due to inexperience. Lowest of the lowest.

Ahh your Nan is lovely. Looks like she had a great trip out with your family Ben. Re the pointing, it just looks like the trades people tried to sweep in some dry mix rather than pointing. What a great act of kindness you did here! The world need more people like this!
I was wondering what song/music you use in you vids. I really like the song you used in this one.
Wow, God bless you for coming to the rescue, sad that someone who should know better how to do the job failed at it, hopefully Father Doug will now enjoy the beautiful job you did, again, thanks for sharing.

Beautiful job and beautiful family. If I ever came to England ( from the USA ), I'm afraid I would never want to leave 😀. If I ever hit the lottery for big money, I am going to scour the English countryside for a home and give it a go !
Lindo trabalho caprichoso organizado lindo parabéns abração na família linda muito lindas crianças 😘😍👏👏👏👏👏🇧🇷😉

Hi really well done for cleaning up that mess. I use the subtitles and they are fine. So glad you have them because I would not have a clue what you are talking about. Really enjoyed watching your film 👍
Beautiful again. You are such a good person Ben.
Cheers Dee Dee hope you enjoyed
You are a magnificent man. You take great pride in your work and you should. I don't really understand what happened, but I can imagine how your heart must have sank, knowing that you left it in a pristine condition. Bless you.
beautiful job, thanks for caring
Great job again. Lovely to take nan out with the family
There really are some unscrupulous people out there but at least father Doug has his pressure washing angel to call on, keep up the good work Ben
Thank you for putting this right!
GOD IS GOOD SOME BLESSINGS COMING YOUR WAY FROM 🙏 IRELAND
I wish you lived near me so I could bake you some pasty or do ANYTHING for you. You and your Dad are special people. - Mildred from Virginia
Congratulations on achieving 40k subs🎉👍🌻
BRILLIANT WORK WELL DONE 👏 ✔️
Ahh your Nan is lovely. Looks like she had a great trip out with your family Ben. Re the pointing, it just looks like the trades people tried to sweep in some dry mix rather than pointing. They didn’t even take out the old cement so all they ended up doing was making a mess. If I was local I think I would be round there giving you a hand and doing to repointing.
I remember you doing this for the church it makes me mad how some cowboys can take the Mick and ripe people off shame on them all but I'm so glad you come back to help him out you are one of the good ones out in this country
I really enjoy the different colors of the tiles.
Looks great again , Nan looked to be happy with the family ❤️❤️
You are such a blessing!! Father Doug has you on speed dial now. They did a horrible job !! Your grandma is just so cute!! That was sweet taking her out. She sounds like my grandma because every time I would go get her to go some place she would ask me if I was ready. HA!! Must be grandma code/talk. Have a great week ahead!!
It looks great again, great job Ben
Lovely man beautiful family every best wish with your business you help so many , wonderful job xx
What a nice thing to do by cleaning it all up again. Great job 👍🌻
