I have no idea why but MOD just never clicked that much with me. I do however have a few and I like to colour their faces with the Sweet 16 compacts. I love the Malibu/Best Buy era where everything melts and frays 😂🤷🏼♂
Aww thank you Dean💜💜 I’m into it because I played with an old beat up tnt when I was a child. It was my aunts. So I’m very sentimental of them. I think it’s a very loud era compared to the more subdued yet glamorous early 60s Barbie. Haha I love the best buy clothes, but I find myself replacing their elastic too lol 😝 those clothes are so freaking fragile. The designs were great! But sometimes the execution was lacking. Still above and beyond what Barbie gets today though for playline. But as i understand it from Mattel executives, kids play with Barbie different now. Probably because of how they’re being made lol
@@disneybarbiegirl615 Aww, that so sweet. I love memories like that. I had a neighbour that had a whole laundry basket of dolls from her childhood. There was a Talking Busy Barbie and a Western Winking Barbie and a whole bunch of dolls in-between. Then an arm fell off one and she blamed me for it and it caused a lot of drama that ended with my dad going to the hospital to have the tip of his finger sewn back on. As a collector I now know that arm was going to come off eventually anyway. Oh! Indeed! They are SO fragile. I should probably replace a whole bunch of elastics but these days I find myself sewing whole new outfits for my dolls rather than using Mattel outfits. I managed to catch up on your videos finally! Love them so much! Sorry I couldn't comment on more of them.
