Outside, nobody pays attention to him;
Inside, nobody can do anything about him.
There are a few people who could easily do something about it. Hell, Jagmeet Singh and Yves-François Blanchet and Pierre Poillievre could form a government without calling an election in a matter of a few days at best. All they have to do is agree to cooperate with each other for the good of the nation, vote no confidence in the liberals, and go to the governor General and say "hey, we're all willing to put our differences aside and cooperate to restore some stability to the country, we want to form a government." And the governor General would be like "m-kay. You three rock-paper-scissors to see who gets to be prime minister, I'll appoint one of you tomorrow."

The unfortunate thing is that there are no real barriers in place to stop Justin Trudeau from essentially running the country into the ground in any way he wishes, so long as he has friends to prop him up and enable him, and he has that in the NDP.
This is precisely why the liberal's promise of electoral reform in 2015 was so important. A well-designed system of proportional representation, where the makeup of parliament accurately reflects the popular vote with regards to seat count, would radically alter how our elected members interact with one another. Nobody would need to feel like a vote for a specific candidate in their local riding is wasted, every party would have an equal shot at forming government. We'd probably never see another majority, but the parties would need to be cooperative with one another or they'd lose support. Nobody wants to support the fringe-lunatics that won't agree to broadly-accepted common sense policy, and the farther the parties get from the centre, the less support they would have. Every vote would count, at least for the parties that get enough of a vote share to qualify for at least one seat. We wouldn't necessarily have to make any alterations to our ballots, nothing needs to be complicated. We just elect our MPs as we do now, then look at each parties' vote share, and appoint additional MPs based on the popular vote, and which candidates came closest to winning in their respective ridings. This would ensure that candidates are the ones that had a strong percentage of support, and each party getting an appropriate voice in parliament, and every canadians vote counts for something.

And then what? The NDP knows that the conservatives are against most of what the NDP stands for. With a minority government, the NDP can effectively represent their constituents, as can the liberals. What policies does PP have on his platform that would be of any benefit to you?
He proposes to eliminate the carbon tax which is directly refunded to taxpayers while half the country was on fire this year.
He proposes to give bonuses to developers who meet a certain quota of housing units. Developers are already developing as fast as they can. These bonuses would only mean lining the pockets of the wealthy shareholders using your tax dollars. He also proposes to eliminate "red tape"... You know, things like environmental protections, safety regulations, soil sampling, building codes, consumer protections... You know, "unnecessary" bureaucracy.
His party seeks to legislate a ban on gender affirming care... You know, the therapy and other supports that are considered best practice by every major medical body in the country. Eliminating such care does nothing to protect children (of which less than 3% express regret, and most of those are because of family who were nasty about it and not because they felt they were mistaken about their gender identity) and does a lot to jeopardize their lives. Suicide rates for trans youth are immensely higher than the general population. Gender affirming care reduces their risk to match the GP.
But they don’t want to... because they don’t want to relinquish the balance of power.

Hes been in favor of trickle down economic policies that see tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy. Hes votesmin favor of doing away with minimum wage, cutting CPP, and raising the retirement age. Doesn't sound like hes much of a friend to the working class

As a 37 year self employed tradesman I feel he’s more in my corner then any prime minister we have had in my life time. Only time will tell, his plan for cutting red tape and government out of the building industry is the only plan I’ve heard anyone come up with. We need 3 million homes not Trudeaus 30000.
