Congratulations on your new house. It sounds like you and your husband have much labors of love ahead in restoring and renovating your historic home. You have some gorgeous projects in the works. Thanks for the warning about backing up progress on Pattern Keeper. How aggravating that must have been. I hope you are able to get some stitching time for yourself. Snow Maiden looks beautiful. Take care and thanks for sharing.
Wow!!!!! Your Snow Maiden is spectacular ❤. She is on my wish list. Love her colors so much. Thank you so much for sharing 😊 Congratulations on your new home. May it be blessed with much happiness ❤ Hopefully your irises will bloom in your garden after the snow is gone
Hello Lady Lugana ❤Congratulations on the purchase of your new home. You have accomplished a lot considering you had holidays, work, moving and renovating! I’m still contemplating my fabric choice for pandemic however, it’s my goal to figure that out very soon so I can start and stitch with you. You have an impressive collection of different kind of designs and fabrics. I adore your fairy bag for bliss fairy 🧚♀️ it’s sooo cute. I’m so with you on the stitch what you have started … I have decided that I’m giving each one of my wips a full week each before I start something brand new!
Thank you, Samantha! That's a great idea. So they each get some progress! It makes me sad to think of them languishing. Looking forward to your next video...and I might have to break my no new start rules with the new Summer Quaker :p
All your projects look amazing and we all have to start somewhere. Congratulations on the new house, can't wait for a tour. Your start on the Snow Maiden is stunning and can't wait to see progress. The Garden in the silks is beautiful and look forward to seeing this finished.
Your stitching is beautiful! Congratulations on your new home - perfect for all those samplers you're stitching. I would love to stitch Christmas Garden and Snow Maiden. You'll have to keep us updated on your home renovation. How exciting!!!
I love your stitching choices. Your house will be worth all the effort. Don't give up! Going slow gives you more time to think about ideas. I'll be doing projects to get my house ready to sell 😢 but that and digging up my garden plants will keep me busy and definitely put a dent in my stitching time, too. That's how we roll in New England!
oh I'm sorry to hear you are selling! That is so hard sometimes :( I hope you are able to salvage all your beautiful plants and transplant them in your new home!
Congratulations on the new house! Have fun remodeling/decorating! Hopefully you will have a lovely garden to tend to one day! Love all you WIPS! Happy stitching!
Hi Sarah, loved your WIP parade! Your house sounds wonderful...happy renovating 🎉 I also love the Irises in my garden and look forward to spring to see them bloom. Your Snow Maiden looks freakn amazing ❤
I really enjoyed your video. Congratulations on your new home! Like you I stitch a lot of fancy ladies and full coverage. Never realized how lovely the snow maiden was until I’ve seen yours and Cross Stitch Bunny’s.
Congratulations on your new home. We purchased our first home a few years ago and I still stop at the top of my driveway take in the view and remember to be grateful. I enjoy following your progress. Thanks for keeping me company while I stitched today(Fairy Moon, my oldest wip).I would love to stitch snow maiden.
What a wonderful perspective to daily take in the blessing we have to be grateful for. That's just what I needed today (letting stress get to me). Oh I love Fairy Moon! I haven't gotten my hands on her quite yet.
I was very glad to see you back and glad to hear that you got your house. I enjoyed seeing all of your wips and new starts. If you don't start them you can't finish them so any little start is good. The snow maider pattern is beautiful.
Congratulations on your new home. Love all your wips. Thanks for sharing, lovely video. The snow maiden looks amazing. Take care and happy stitching. 😊
Your work is just beautiful. Hopefully your spring will start soon so you can work in your garden I to love Josephine Wall and have three of her projects only one going at a time because they are extremely confetti heavy. But when they’re done, they are breathtaking.
I just love a wip parade....you have some fantastic patterns. Love seeing the progression. Mirabilia is my favourite designer, I am currently working on Villa Mirabilia, my all time favourite! We have gotten lots of snow lately, but am looking forward to spring! Looking forward to your next video, congratulations on your new house!
Congratulations on the house. Exciting to discover the garden when spring finally arrives. We got about 30 cm of snow the other day, and now they promise even more today. I was hoping for spring, it's March. It feels appropriate with a snow maiden.

Hi Sara. Cool flosstube name! so original ... yet.... why has no one thought of it before? Your new house sounds amazing. Congratulations! And thanks for all the videos so far I have really enjoyed them, you are a natural x Love the snow maiden and Christmas garden.
Hi Lady Lugana. Your Flosstube name suits you. I laugh a little everytime you mention lugana cream. I've watched this video twice now viewing all your WIPS. i would love to stitch snow or garden. They are both lovely. Happy to stitch Oriental Lady of Wisdom too. The colouring is gorgeous! Keep up making the videos, i really enjoy watching them. Debbie
Hi Dean! I'm reaching out to let you know you are the winner for the Vicky Clayton Silks for BBD Christmas Garden. My email is sarahvanwey@gmail.com. If you would still like them let me know and I'll package them up!
Nice to meet you and I feel your pain mixed with lots of joy. When I lived in England I spent many years renovating a Georgian home built in 1735. Worth every minute so I wish you the best of luck. Also - I'm doing the same TW 12 days of Christmas. It's my oldest WIP. Stitching over 1 on 32 count with all designs on the same piece of fabric. Have all borders done and have finally decided to pull it out and give it my attention this year. Love this pattern. I have the BB Christmas Garden pattern and would love to do it in those silks, thank you!
oh my goodness I bet the home was so stunning. I'm so glad I have a stitching friend with TW 12 days of Christmas! It makes my brain work hard so I need someone to commiserate with!
What a great video!!! Congrats on the new home!! I love how your husband loves your cross stitching!! It's adorable to hear you say 'my husband loves this!' - I'd love to share your oriental book and all the other yummy things!! Xmas Garden has been on my wish list for months. Snow Maiden would be a special stitch, as well. - You'll do really well & be a huge hit at the Nephrology event, I'm sure!
Thank you! you have such kind words and made my day! I have to agree, I have a pretty special husband :) I can't blame you for having such a beautiful BB design on your wish list!

Congratulations on the purchase of your new home! All of your WIPS are beautiful. Thanks for the tip on how you’re beading Snow Maiden as you go. I wouldn’t have thought to use smaller Qsnap thingys to attach the fabric. I also stitch in a Qsnap and have always wondered how to handle the beading on my Noras and Miras once I get to that point.
When the Needleberry stitcher shared that I was like that's how to do it! I have been nervous about beading at the end with my cream linen. Don't want to get it dirty!
I live in AZ ,(Phoenix area), so we don’t get any snow but the Snow Maiden would be a welcome addition to my Mirabilia charts. Best of luck in your new home and your Masters degree.
I loved seeing all your wips, I think I have a few more then you by about 30 or so more. I will be trying to finish as much as I can this year and also next year. Congratulations on your new house , just like you we have bought a new house too and I'm getting ready to pack so not as far as you on the moving stage . Our house is much smaller would have loved an older house as I love anything that is antique and they have so much character. We are also going to be renovating and not sure how that will go but up for a challenge. Hi!! I love all your projects, especially Mirabilias! And I'm looking to start the Snow Maiden! You and Laladeestitches have convinced me with yours lovely wips!! Have a nice day!
I started Lavender and Lace Celtic Noel years ago and laid it aside to stitch other projects. But seeing you pull it out has motivated me to get it back out and finish it. I'm about 3/4 finished. I love Mirabelias..need to try one of the many gorgeous patterns. Wish we could get a little SNOW but not nuch chance living in Louisiana..would love to see a home tour of your historic home.
Congrats on getting the house! I'd love to see pics/videos of it as it sounds amazing!!! I haven't used silk floss before, but I hear good things about it.
Such beautiful wips. Love Joan Elliott designs! Would love to have the Joan Elliott book! I live in an apartment complex, so I have no place for a garden.😂
Well shucks! I missed the last part! Hopefully in your parts of New Hampshire you are getting less snow and slowly moving into spring! Love me some Mirabilia!
Wow. Sarah! How to decide??? You have too too many gorgeous patterns!!! I wish we were geographically close….we have the same tastes, I think. (My Celtic Christmas Noel is done & proudly displayed!) Also I LOVE doing house renovations and demolitions, please do a house tour when it’s completed! And please show us your puppies too… You are very generous with your give aways & would love❤to do either the oriental or the SNOW maiden.

If no one has claimed the book, I would truly love to give it a good home . Thank you for such a good video and sharing all of your beautiful stitching... Congratulations on the new house ☺️ Happy Stitching -Kimberly ps snow days are some of the best days to stay inside and stitch all day
Wow you’ve had a lot going on this year. Congratulations on your new home and thank you for the WIP parade so many beautiful projects! Love the Blackbird Piece who wouldn’t want to stitch a garden. Take care and happy stitching!
I loved the Splintered series! I should revisit them soon. A stitchy garden is probably the best for me- I have a black thumb when it comes to the real thing lol! You've got some lovely WIPs going, but you're not going to tempt me to be naughty! I have 4 Retreats scheduled this year- priorities, Deb, priorities... 😜 Your Snow Maiden is gorgeous ❤ After she is finished I think you need to focus on Petal Fairy 🧚♀️
The more I read the more I love the series! I'm glad to know you loved them! Four retreats!! That's amazing. Is Queen City one of them by chance? Oh beautiful Petal Fairy. She's getting a priority vote!
I feel all inspired to both pull out my stitching and finally film another floss tube. You have so many gorgeous projects on the go. We are waiting to see if we get snow overnight but it will not be anything close to the amount you have!
I enjoyed seeing all your wips. I’m a big Mirabilia fan. The Madonna and Queen of Freedom are my unicorns. I have the Blackbird Design Christmas Garden. The thread pack would be great.
I understand the whole having tooo many wips...but it doesn't stop us from wanting to do more, does it??? You have great taste. I was around in the 80s and am still stitching things I collected back then. We are supposed to get more snow in the garden this weekend, so more stitching time for me! Congratulations on the new home.
Thank you so much! Eep I hope your snow day allowed lots of x's to be complete! Soooo many WIPS! I have a whole list I want to start from Market now too :p
Love your Noah's Ark piece, I wouldn't be dedicated enough to restart it...I have the blackbird design book also and will definitely stitch Christmas Garden. Iris fairy is my suggestion. Crafty hugs
Wow! With so many different, pretty projects started, how do you have time to do anything else? But you go girl! But I would like to put my name in the pot for the Garden threads or the Snow piece! Best of luck on the new house!
You pick the most beautiful pieces to stitch! I’d have a hard time deciding which to focus on too. 😂 I’d love to stitch Christmas Garden or the Snow Maiden.
I just discovered your channel. You have so many beautiful WIPS. Thanks for sharing. Love the Christmas Garden. The Mirabilia Christmas In London is one of my favorites, I’m hoping to start that one soon as well. Have you had much snow this winter?
congrats on your house. and I have a start that is less than any you have I started to stich on Mirabilia's Red and only put in half of the first stitch and got distracted and have not gone back to do more as of yet
I hope to add some of our renovation next time! Going to look a little on the ugly side...electrical wiring can't be updated until June so we're hitting some sticking points
Welcome back. Did you say haunted bathroom? I worked in two different places with haunted bathrooms. I still have nightmares about one of them. I also used Markup R XP. I can’t go back to paper. You’re so busy you must have to do cross stitch in your sleep. Garden and Snow please.
@@sharons1198 The house was built in 1791... I didn't really consider the date until it hit me its 232 years old! I'm really glad its not haunted either! I'd love to hear your stories about the bathroom though!
@@ladyluganasarahvanwey3499 Briefly, one was an old 3 story brick catholic school my company converted to engineering offices. I got the willies the first time I went into the basement where the kids bathrooms were. I used to work alone on weekends (accounting) and the toilets would flush all by themselves. The secretary offices were located in the basement (which were nicely renovated) and several times they’d run upstairs scared. That’s the one I still have nightmares about. The other one was at an elementary school near me where my kids, and now grandkids go to school. I’m retired from there (accounting). One day my granddaughter told me about an experience she and her friend had in their bathroom. Said she thought it was haunted. When she graduates the 8th grade this year I’ll tell her it’s haunted be a principal that died there (it was his office prior to renovations). This is well known among the older teaching staff. Sorry you asked?
@@sharons1198 Oh my goodness that catholic school bathroom sounds terrifying! I'd be running up the stairs too! Hmmm yes, I could see a principal haunting his old place of work! Though I have to admit I would never want to haunt my workplace....spend too much time there already :/ Eep thanks for sharing!!!!

Wow. And please show us your puppies too…
You are very generous with your give aways & would love❤to do either the oriental or the SNOW maiden.
Hi Wendy! You are the first to ask for the oriental book! It's full of beautiful patterns! My e-mail is sarahvanwey@gmail.com. If you want to send me your address I'll get it in the mail for you!
I would love to have close stitchy friends! Where abouts are your from?
How exciting for spring, your garden will be full of surprises as plants come up after winter
It's true! I'm excited to unbury the planters! Not even sure where they are at the moment.
Glad to see you back!!! Congrats on the house! I to am working on One Nation by Twin Peak Primitives. I absolutely love it. Happy Stitching 😊
Eep! How exciting! How is it coming along?
@Lady Lugana (sarahvanwey) It's coming! Just about the same as yours.
I love your WIPs so much! I have been after starting Christmas Garden before Christmas and I love the colours in snow maiden!
I love your channel Nadine! I was totally enabled to kit up Knights Templar from Long Dog 😍
Just discovered your videos. The Christmas Garden is one I hope to stitch.
Blackbird Designs really makes such lovely projects!
If no one has claimed the book, I would truly love to give it a good home . Thank you for such a good video and sharing all of your beautiful stitching... Congratulations on the new house ☺️ Happy Stitching -Kimberly ps snow days are some of the best days to stay inside and stitch all day
Snow days are the best! We have another one today...12 inches!! Luckily I'm not scheduled to work today :p
Wow you’ve had a lot going on this year. Congratulations on your new home and thank you for the WIP parade so many beautiful projects! Love the Blackbird Piece who wouldn’t want to stitch a garden. Take care and happy stitching!

Thank you so much!!
How exciting for you with your new home. Congratulations. I would love to stitch Snow Maiden
Thank you so much!
@@ladyluganasarahvanwey3499 they're all Aussie Retreats. Victoria, Tasmania, the Hunter Valley, & Queensland
@@deborahsharp5925 That sounds so lovely! I was lucky enough to live in Australia for 2 years but want to so badly go back!
I feel all inspired to both pull out my stitching and finally film another floss tube. You have so many gorgeous projects on the go.
We are waiting to see if we get snow overnight but it will not be anything close to the amount you have!
yes! I've missed you on flosstube! Did you end up getting snow?? We are getting another 12 inches today.
I enjoyed seeing all your wips. I’m a big Mirabilia fan. The Madonna and Queen of Freedom are my unicorns. I have the Blackbird Design Christmas Garden. The thread pack would be great.
They are such beautiful patterns aren't they!
All your WIPS are fantastic 👏
We have had no snow here in the UK and 🥶
Thank you! I'd love to be cozied up in the UK to be honest!
@Lady Lugana (sarahvanwey) it's so wet and cold, very miserable but not as cold as some states in the US 🤭
@@sallyanncole2447 Haha that's exactly what my husband says. He lived in the UK for several years!
Snow...Missed seeing your videos...so glad to see you again.

Thank you!
❤the snow maiden pattern is just glorious.😊
Isn't she though!!! Nora Corbett never fails to impress
Snow Maiden has been on my wish list! She is so pretty!
She really is! You can't tell how pretty until you see someone stitch her. I feel like that's true with a lot of patterns.
Hey...I just discovered you ...congratulations on your new home...its so so exciting :)
Thank you!!
The Christmas garden is just beautiful.
Love your Noah's Ark piece, I wouldn't be dedicated enough to restart it...I have the blackbird design book also and will definitely stitch Christmas Garden. Iris fairy is my suggestion. Crafty hugs
Thank you for the suggestion! She will be in my top group to work on!
Your Empress Eugenie piece is stunning! I love it! I vote for either Cottage Garden Fairy or Bliss Fairy next. Your Snow Maiden is beautiful!❤
Aww thank you so much!!! I love the votes!!
Wow! With so many different, pretty projects started, how do you have time to do anything else? But you go girl! But I would like to put my name in the pot for the Garden threads or the Snow piece! Best of luck on the new house!
Thank you! oh to have as much time for stitching as possible! That would be amazing
You pick the most beautiful pieces to stitch! I’d have a hard time deciding which to focus on too. 😂 I’d love to stitch Christmas Garden or the Snow Maiden.
Thank you!! It’s so true!! I struggle and then there are so many more beautiful patterns out there!
Hello! I just discovered you and subscribed. You've been very busy. Congratulations for making your dreams come true!! I'd love to see a house tour.
Thank you so much! I think a house tour is in order! Maybe I'll start with the outside and show everyone the snow!
Congratulations on the house
I just discovered your channel. You have so many beautiful WIPS. Thanks for sharing. Love the Christmas Garden. The Mirabilia Christmas In London is one of my favorites, I’m hoping to start that one soon as well. Have you had much snow this winter?
Thank you! I love Christmas in London...it's so elegant! Oh goodness so much...we're getting another 12 inches today.
I love old houses. We are currently renovating a house from 1875 🥰 I love to stitch Snow Maiden, because i love Mirabilias 🤗
Oh goodness! How are your renovations going??
@@ladyluganasarahvanwey3499 it works very well, but you need patience and time. We also want to keep the charm of the old house 🤗
congrats on your house. and I have a start that is less than any you have I started to stich on Mirabilia's Red and only put in half of the first stitch and got distracted and have not gone back to do more as of yet
oh that sounds like a fantastic start! I love Red and I be she's going to be absolutely amazing!
Beautiful stitching
Thank you so much!!! Its been crazy!
I love your fairies, I have a few I want to do for my granddaughter but have been nervous to start them. garden
The pixies are a great place to start! Block stitching and quick finishes! I bet your granddaughter would love anything you gifted her!
I’m about to start Autumn Quaker but would love to do Christmas Garden too!
So many beautiful stitches! So little time! I want to start Spring Quaker too!
Would love to see more pictures of your house
I hope to add some of our renovation next time! Going to look a little on the ugly side...electrical wiring can't be updated until June so we're hitting some sticking points
Where in NH do you live? I used to live in Hampstead!
Pandemic Sampler makes me think of Grandma Moses style! Love it!
It is like Grandma Moses! That's a great comparison! I'm up in Lebanon! Maybe 90 minutes from Hampstead??
I
Am waiting for the snow to melt so I can start planting my garden
You and me both!
Welcome back. Did you say haunted bathroom? I worked in two different places with haunted bathrooms. I still have nightmares about one of them. I also used Markup R XP. I can’t go back to paper. You’re so busy you must have to do cross stitch in your sleep. Garden and Snow please.
Ahh really! That sounds spooky! Luckily ours isn't really haunted....only so spooky looking that I'm glad to have torn up the ceilings.
@@ladyluganasarahvanwey3499 Glad is isn’t really haunted. How old is you house?👻
Are you going to do a tour of your house? Has the outside been renovated? Pictures would be deeply appreciated. Once your husband sees Stitching around the house, maybe he will appreciate your stitching hours more.
Yes! I've filmed the exterior this week to show all the work it needs (and the snow). Ooh wouldn't it be lovely once he sees pieces framed!
If you want fuller coverage without increasing your ply, just loosen your stitches.
Ooh thanks for the great advice!!
Maybe, if you shine a light toward you and your piece, then the video would not have such shadow.
Thank you for the advice! I"ll do that next time!
