Part of the reason why I love Starlight more than the others is because it's a lot softer, in a sense? None of the lyrics are screamed, and the song doesn't have the heavy drums and guitar the the other songs have -- they're _there,_ but they aren't as prevalent, I suppose. As well as, the lyrics themselves are absolutely beautiful, as always.
I play destiny alot ...and i love my character in there ...i was reading on a theory that our characters might die in the future of the game when i listened to this song the first time ...and everytime i listen to it i remember that theory which makes me kinda cry

Starset songs are space themed, but they also have a sad undertone to them that makes me think its about something we all fear but that we eventually experience in our lifetimes, which is loss and loneliness. But there's also glimmers of hope in these songs as well, telling us we have to travel to escape from the emptiness.

If you like the less heavy atmosphere, I'd recommend Monster, Telepathic, Telescope, Dark On Me and Antigravity by the same band as this song. None of them are quite as special as this one though.

Absolutely loved the first album. Makes me sad I didn't like Vessels when it initially dropped, not because every song is basically a certified genuine slapper, but because I was going through some rough shit, but now that I'm through it I can enjoy Starset.
