Part of the reason why I love Starlight more than the others is because it's a lot softer, in a sense? None of the lyrics are screamed, and the song doesn't have the heavy drums and guitar the the other songs have -- they're _there,_ but they aren't as prevalent, I suppose. As well as, the lyrics themselves are absolutely beautiful, as always.

This song made me cry. Starset songs are space themed, but they also have a sad undertone to them that makes me think its about something we all fear but that we eventually experience in our lifetimes, which is loss and loneliness. But there's also glimmers of hope in these songs as well, telling us we have to travel to escape from the emptiness.
