My friend got me into Starset with My Demons, but this is the reason I stuck with Starset. I remember, around a month after my niece was born, I was holding her and rocking her. I always sing to babies when I hold them because I just like singing and I know it can help babies relax. This was the first song I sang to her and she fell asleep on my chest while I was singing to her. This is easily my favorite Starset song just because of the memory it brings back of my niece. I still see her quite often, of course, but this one specific song will always hold that weight it does for that reason.

Starset writes with the assumption that it's being written for the most epic or meaningful story and they'll be taken out and shot if it doesn't do it justice. So naturally, they excel at making epic and meaningful songs. They don't use a single idle word. Much like Flyleaf or Demon Hunter in that regard. Starset ranks among my absolute favorites for this reason. And because they create a universe of their own with their music. Their songs, to use an old phrase, take you out of this world.

What I like about Starset is that their songs gives you that feeling of when you hit rock bottom at some point of your life, it gives you a choice that if you want to let depression and regret consume you until you die, or make a comeback to change your course of history for the better.

In a society where it is rife with easy abuse where majority take it for granted in a relationship. As a result, it is rare nowadays in today's society that anyone is willing to go to that extent for their important ones. Hence, we should all cherish this powerfully emotional lyrics where such actions are almost non-existent in this world.

Bought album today. First time in a long time I've bought a physical CD. Really wanted to do it to support STARSET. Store had only 5 copies and they weren't even on the new release shelf. I made room on the new release shelf and put the remaining 4 CDs on it. This album, as well as the first, deserves the respect and attention it deserves.

While listening to this song, I'm thinking about how sad it is to fall in love with a person so much that you'd die for her/him and then after some time it turns out you'd die for the wrong person, the one who would replace you like nothing happened. I loved my first girlfriend (ex) so much that I'd die for her. In the end it turned out that I ''wanted to die'' for the wrong person. Funny.

I listen to a band called RED and they have a song called Die For You, it's older than this song, but they have an album called "of Beauty and Rage" and I think Starset listens to RED and gets a little inspired by them. Just a theory, but a very possible one.

Not only that but Rob Graves is the producer for both Starset and RED. That explains why they have a similar sound!

This song is the one that I had first heard when I was listening to music a few months ago and once I heard this song, I just looked them up and haven't stopped listening to them once. I love their songs.
