I never know what to think about the compliment thing. Fragrance reviewers always say that, but in reality you hardly get a compliment. Even if i wear a very good scent like Dior Homme Intense, i never get a compliment. i only got a compliment recently, when i was wearing D&C the one.
@@Cora.55 that’s true, depends on many factors. Here in Argentina every single time I hang out with my friends they tell me something about my fragrance
@@tech1779 From Family or friends i get sometimes compliments. But i think when they say huge compliment getter, they mean getting compliments from strangers?
I’ve worn Dylan blue multiple times and never got a compliment completely different to the internets reaction. Personally I think it suits the summer and for me it’s smells like Bo
Spray more then or dress up to help get noticed...I literally cannot leave the house without getting compliments for it insanely powerful stuff. Kinda getting to the point where I choose not to wear it sometimes because I don't want the attention all the time
You can’t trust all reviews. Everyone has different taste. I have worn Dylan Blue and had some like it, and I’ve also had people say it smells horrible. I personally got rid of it because it wasn’t a favorite of mine
The first time I remember getting a compliment from a stranger was when I was 22 years old and at my part-time job. I was wearing a combo of Aqua Velva Ice Blue and Nautica Latitude Longitude.
there's no reason though, dylan blue is one of the strongest fragrances that exist. No joke the stuff is so powerful, beast mode 48+ hours easily. Why would they need an EDP or parfum?
Versace dosn't want to have a crowded fragrance cavalry, keeps it few but never discontinues. Other brands relese so many fragrances and discontinue them one by one
I think Boisee is my favorite scent! Ralph’s Club is also nice! Wore Dior Homme 2022 to work and got 8 or 9 compliments! The most I have ever received! 👊🏼
I’ve only had a few compliments from strangers. I’ve been asked what I was wearing wearing more odd fragrances than what would be considered normal. By the fireplace has gotten me two and tuscan leather has gotten me two and oud wood and d&g the one both got me one
Explorer def has gotten me comps from strangers. A woman out side the grocery store told me I smelled fantastic. I bought my Dad a bottle and he said ppl are like “wtf is that you got on? Damn you smell good”
hey dallas, hope life is great, i have a question, that last lattafa ejazi silver, i found on amazon, and it says on the front of bottle intensive silver, is this the one you speak of in your video, or ?
Why is Hawas not on this list? That is easily my #1 compliment pulling fragrance whether it be from strangers or people I know. But mostly from strangers, recently while I was in line at 7-11 a random lady standing behind me just had to know what I was wearing, and it was Hawas.
@@GrowingDownUnder in the frag comm it may be overrated but to strangers on the street they aren’t going to necessarily know and it always catches positive attention whenever I wear it so hey your mileage obviously varies
@@jameshusband3392 The thing is though, invictus is one of the most common and worn fragrances on the street by strangers. It's become the new 1 millon and everyone is wearing it and has worn it for years. It's hard not to recognize it. So even if you wear hawas people are still going to think you're wearing invictus even if you aren't because they smell the same. Even if strangers don't know what hawas is, they definitely know what invictus is
@@GrowingDownUnder I don’t feel that people in my area think about it that much 😂😂😂 I live near Los Angeles by the way, men’s fragrance isn’t as popular in the surrounding areas here as say NYC or anywhere in Europe. I have never smelled an Invictus style fragrance on anybody else here, only Sauvage and sometimes BDC. So lets take where we live into consideration. Point is, Hawas is a compliment magnet for me, and I love it. That is all.
Dude! I want to buy my first niche fragrance, but don’t know where to start. There are so many options like Aventus, Percival, Sedley, Green Irish Tweed, Elysium. What do you recommend for someone like me that lives in the Caribbean, where it’s pretty much summer all year round?
Just skip on anything Creed. They're nice and pleasant fragrances but the price really isn't justifiable anymore with the performance and quality of current batches, there's plenty of other equally priced offerings that do perform well and smell nice.
Elysium & percival last like 30 mins...the performance is terrible. Plus they both have cheaper alternatives that smell the exact same. Aventus has cheaper alternatives, I don't get performance issues with aventus but some people claim it has bad performance. Still not worth the price....Sedley girls love this stuff no joke, even though it's over priced i'd buy it just because it has incredible power at impressing ladies. It's basically everything people claimed layton was but never actually was. Girls hate layton, girls LOVE sedley. If you want a good niche try *MFK amyris homme* , *PDM sedley* , Xerjoff Uden, Navitus Siesta drive, Initio side effect, By killian black phantom, *Goldfield & banks pacific rock moss* , Nishane Ani, Creed Royal Oud. They're the best niche fragrances worth your money $$ Edit - just saw you said for summer... don't get uden, siesta drive, side effect, black phantom, ani or royal oud for summer they're sweeter fragrances for colder weather. But the rest are good the others are fresh scents. *Roja oceania* is probably the freshest niche fragrance it's quite icy and refreshing almost like a cold lemonade on a hot day. And I like *MFK aqua universalis* although the performance is bad for that one it is also quite fresh. Goldfield and banks also have *bohemian lime* another nice hot weather scent and *Creed Virgin Island Water* is a tropical type fragrance would go well with carribean weather.
Do not get aventus bro,,, u will regret it the performance is horrible,,, Percival is a waste of money bc it smells like designer,, elysium doesn’t last at all go for bdc parfum instead, green Irish tweed is good if you wanna smell like grass and for the price sedley is mehhh
Let’s not dance around it; if Lattafa Ejaazi Silver or the Fakhar were made by a designer like D&G or Versace, they would be retail priced at like $80 or so, and they’d still be worth it. I hate that they only get compared to fragrances in their price range, or like the next step up. Something like Rasasi La Yuqawam should be a $200+ fragrance, but because it’s from a clone house, it’s priced at around $80, or around $50 on discounters. These fragrances are steals at the prices they’re going for!
I saw the community post at 2am this morning for Asad when I woke up for some random reason and checked my phone. I went straight to my home office and ordered 2 bottles. Free shipping if you order five so I added some others I have been wanting to try out.
I was so hyped about Montblanc explorer... first thing wife told me was "it smells like cheap cologne", not even close to creed aventus, don´t even waste your money on it
I remember when sauvage edp came out. I went to a goodwill thrift store and literally had 5 very attractive older women on me. It was unreal they were literally following me. I was happily taken…but if I wasn’t…
Ralph's club is weird. It smells like a fresh box of crayons when you spray it on for the first 15 minutes. The dry down smells nice like a luxury soap.
Ralphs club is the type of fragrance you hate at first, then slowly keep smelling it and like the 10th time you smell it you come around and it's like ohhh nice I get it and I like it...It's soapy and creamy lavender. And I like that because I usually hate lavender and would hate it if it wasn't creamy, it's that creaminess that gets me hooked every time I smell it. Also cool fact it's made by the same perfumer as YSL Y EDP & YSL L'homme he knows what girls love....if you want compliments YSL Y (all flankers) and YSL L'homme will get you maximum compliments from everyone
